I had just barely set up my account, spent the time to answer the questionnaire, uploaded pics, sent them money by CC. Tried it for 1 day after paying. Almost all the matches they gave me were 100s of miles away, and it didn't seem to follow my preferences at all. I. e. It wanted to match me randomly with women in their 60s while I'm 40s. Then when i got home, i used a VPN like always when surfing, and immediately the account was deleted for being outside their service area. What do they do when people are traveling? What a terrible experience. I just hope they refund my money.

This site was recommended to me by a friend. Tried it for two days and got mostly very unsuitable matches (too many were way outside my designated geographical area, also many were not professionals or highly educated by any measure). I cancelled my premium membership contract within the three days allowed under law and am currently awaiting reply on my request for refund (they charge the full, several-month contract up front, FYI). The company does not make it easy to find the required links to delete your account, request contract cancellation, and request a refund (three separate steps!). And get this: when you get to the third step, the form asks for a code that is in your profile, which you cannot access because you have cancelled it! It took me several tries to delete my profile, which is worrying. There is no human to talk to for help, as far as I could tell.

I cancelled largely because I did not feel safe on the site. I was besieged by "X might be interested" and "your profile is popular" emails, which began to feel oppressive. One man was obviously married (that's pretty common on dating websites, but this is supposed to be a better-vetted site than most). Furthermore, anyone joining this site can claim to be anything, for all the company cares. None of the information provided is verified. And here is something that completely turned me off. I was looking for men in one of the senior age brackets (I believe it was 58-70). Many of those men answered the "children?" question with "someday maybe" Yuck. There should be a way to filter those guys out.

You will get random recommendations from far away faceless people, scanners seem to run unchecked and should your subscription run out you will be blocked with no notice. And you can't talk to a human

Once they know your credit card details, they keep charging you even after you cancel. Trust me, you will want to cancel, since it's total scam. Elitesingles wesite doesn't belong to dating services that work for real. Actually, it's the opposite of them. Most of the suggested matches are fake. You get a few replies every now and then but they are short and written by bots. Boilerplate! Don't forget that you have to give them 14 days notice in order to cancel your subscription. Otherwise you will be charged again.

I am disgusted with such a despicable company. You cannot phone them or talk to a person, you only can text and then they want to charge you, to even text. I signed up and cancelled the same day. They state you can do this. However they are using my PROFILE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION... I CANCELLED IN WRITING. I am disputing through my bank. They completely lie. They send profile no pictures, did that only first day then nothing. I want my money back, my profile down. Or more bad reviews every day. I do not want t anything sent to me period, but getting my money back.

Constant bombardment with fake profiles. Scammers join for free, post a pic the copied from anywhere, then post a "Username" that has an embedded email or phone number to text. Dozens each day! And then there is the numerous daily repetitive contact from another fake profile user using the exact same "I am leaving this site because I found my true love, but... my friend saw your profile and asked me to contact you... " And if that isn't enough dozens of people supposedly 'join' (for free) and post a profile with NO PICTURE. Brilliant, no picture = no person. Customer Service? NEVER! It's Customer ABUSE! I've lodged continuous complaints that their robots chuckle over before deleting. Try contacting them?... IF you can even find their 'contact form'. Or try calling them (with their German Phone Number, I'm sure that's also not another scam. Right!) Try talking to the Online Customer Service? The bot comes on and says, yes, uh-huh, okay, and is there anything else I can tell the REAL bot I'm going to connect you with? THEN... to really irritate the Hell out of you, they want to CHARGE you to speak with their stinking third party complaint desk "person". And for the FINAL straw, they will NEVER refund your money for the privilege of letting them abuse you and piss you off immensely as their paying customer. This outfit is only in the absolute ELITE class of rotten business enterprises on the planet. Consider yourself forewarned.

They pretend that they very serious website but there are no body to date. The price is very high but no effect. Wasting your time and money.

This site doesn't verify anything. Total cesspool of catfishing scammers using fake profile pics. Textbook catfish site. Buyers beware, so stay away and protect yourselves. I uploaded the pics used by "Niculus" (Ricco?), after verifying they're fraudulent. His profile pics are actually images of an actor in India. He's a self-declared PhD in Houston via Manchester, England who allegedly attended Georgia State University and who travels extensively for his work (probably works in a call center in India and uses a VOIP number). For extra measure, he donates time to "Doctors without Borders". He quickly deleted his profile after declaring us a "perfect match." This also deleted any and all evidence of our conversations on the app - which the company should be forced to retain for safety purposes. The site clearly doesn't verify a thing. Gross and DANGEROUS. There should be regulations protecting consumers from this kind of fraud.

The site doesn't have sufficient matches within locality. Despite specifying 30 miles radius, most of the matches were not within this range and were nothing like I had specified. I do not understand why they make this a subscription, I am trying to cancel and it's proving difficult again!
Total waste of money!

Having registered and paid on Dec 1, their Orsa Murphy declared no trace of it. Demanded personal and banking details, very worrying. Sent proof of payment and cancellation on Dec 2. No confirmation or log in ever sent after lots of lying cross purpose emails. Suddenly they found registration on Dec 22, still no confirmation or log in details, but refusal to cancel and refund. Their website is impossible to find contact details - managed to get email from a friend. This has been a minefield and deliberate robbery.

None of the potential men are anywhere near what was in my profile. Men from out of town or state.
Customer service was horrible. No refunds given. I was dissatisfied from day 1. Don't waste your money.

I bought a 6 month membership and in that time the site "matched" me with hundreds of members, however, the majority had nothing to do with my preferences. In spite of setting up the preferences I chose, my experience was that that it seemed the site just claimed every member to be a match of some varying degree.
Not only are you emailed and notified about unsuitable matches, but all matches appear in one long thread. Not 30 per page, etc. No, they are displayed in one never ending scroll. There is really no way to shift through them with any efficiency. There is no way to categorize "maybe's" to refer back to later. Your only choices are to "favorite" someone (which they will see on their end). Which I fell is premature if you are starting out with 400 people and trying to narrow it down (since they don't follow your preferences), or just flat our block those who aren't actually a good fit (which takes several clicks per match and is time consuming). There is no way to scroll down and delete multiple users at a time (like quickly eliminate all those who are 20+ years past your max age range). Also once you scroll past the first 30-50 profiles, the site starts freezing up, you loose your place and have to start over again. No guarantee they will be in the same order when you come back.
I gave 2 stars for poor site design (poor app as well, doesn't sync currently with the website) and HUGE waste of time. I'd rather have a few matches and have them actually REALLY be a match. As you can see in the photo, there are really no filtering options, and even those that are there don't work (photo/no photo).
There need to be more preference categories, and they need to be adhered to, and presences should be private to only yourself, or at least if you are doing a search.

It is a waste of time and money as it is now. I wish I could get a refund but of course I had to pay the 6 months as one lump payment up front. Now I know why...

Elite singles is full of scammers using stolen photos from someone else's Instagram or Facebook page, someone was using my friends photos from Instagram and I told her about it and she's planning on suing, I'm not surprised when I get photos from women from Ghana or Nigeria because they are two of the four countries that are notorious for scams, don't waste your money on this site. I'm convinced that all the photos on this site were lifted

Very scant search results and very stupid matching algorithms! Bogus charges all the time, this month they charged another £120 from my cc for auto renewal after I had removed my account! Customer service is absolutely worthless. Stay away from this con site. There are bunch of normal sites, where you can spend less and get more. Women are absolutely unresponsive and inactive on EliteSingles. Is this what you call elite?!

Lost count of how many bogus emails I received about "a friend, colleague, brother, whatever, of a member seeing my profile and wanted to connect. Blah, blah, blah... please send your contact info...!" and then all the emails from ES about profiles being reviewed and to please not contact any further... Not trustworthy by any means. No chance of getting a refund as there is No One to contact. Buyer Beware!

This is the worst dating app I've experienced. It he "wild cards" are in different countries - because that will work out well for dating. The site does not really follow your criteria. I've seen more profiles that I have no comparability with. It's an extremely disappointing app. I don't recommend it.

I just joined and then less than 24 hours I've had two scammers contact me I'm smart enough to know when a guy tells me that he basically lives in an area that I'm pretty familiar with and then all of a sudden says that he works from home he's an engineer and he grew up in Serbia and at other places and won't talk to me on the phone he's a scammer and then I got an email from another scammer the same old one I've seen years before that he's just looking for his friend I'm done I want my freaking money back

Elite Singles markets itself as a site for professionals. While there are some professionals, many were not. The default search is for 500 miles. You have to manually change this every time you search unless you want matches across the country! You also had to change the age preferences every time you searched. My biggest gripe with this site is the high number of scammers/phishers who create a fake profile and try to get your contact info. This happened to me almost weekly in the two months I was on the site. I would receive an email from the site telling me they were "investigating " a person who had been in contact with me. This never happened on the other site I tried. Finally, it is very expensive and I found it not to be worth the money for the reasons set forth above. There are definitely better options out there.

I have tried a few dating app sites and this one was by far the worst value for the money spent. The others I tried had much better quality men for FREE compared to this one which falsely claimed many things which did not prove to be the reality. On top of that, I thought I was signing up for a 6 month membership for which I paid to try only to have it RENEW automatically for another 6 months and their customer service was so poor and frustrating when I replied that I wanted to cancel it immediately! Totally a waste of money PLUS fraud if you ask me! VERY unhappy and unimpressed customer so STAY AWAY from this site.

Once they have your money, you're toast. They'll lead you on but, as soon as you find someone you like, they will search your entire life history and alert the person to nix it if they find even the smallest smudge of any kind on your record. Do not waste your money. You'll be scammed.
