Direct Unlocks

Great process and good at what they do. I was unlocking a Wifi Stick and not a mobile phone. Slightly different. However, you have to make two payments, this is not clear on their website. Which I think is mis-selling and leads you down the rabbit hole. You have committed £10 and then your have to pay another £30 to get the item unlocked. They do what they say, but the prices should be more up front. The other thing, make sure you check online with your mobile provider, as they can be free to unlock, especially if you are in the UK. Don't rush it, like I did. Waste of money considering I got the same code free from the mobile provider and quicker. Otherwise, would I have used them if I had know the full price of the transaction? NO. Would I have used them if the full price of the transaction what under £20 and I couldn't get it unlocked for free - Yes.

This service was amazingly fast and easy. When I looked up online on how to unlock a MOTOROLA phone, the 1st option shown was this and I tried. The first step was to make sure that my device was wlegible for an unlock, that process took only minutes to complete after I made my online payment.
The second step took place after the service verified that my Motorola phone was able to get an unlock code. This is very nice because it prevents customers from spending a lot of money and time if the phone is not eligible for an unlock code. I recommend it 100%

I followed every step they asked for and trusted the process. Here's what I paid: $28.99 for the "Eligibility Check" $50.00 for the "Standard Unlock" $96.00 for the "Premium Unlocking Service" That's $174.99 total — and after days of delays, status updates saying "99% complete," and endless copy-paste support messages, I was suddenly told my phone now needs an even higher tier unlock for another $247. They didn't honor their guarantee. Instead of refunding my money to my card, they gave me a credit note to try and keep me locked into their overpriced system. Now I have no unlock and no real refund — just more upselling. To make it worse, after leaving this review, I received an automatic, generic response pretending to address my concerns. It's the same robotic message they've been sending all along — no real solution, no accountability, just another delay tactic. This is a bait-and-switch operation. They give you hope, take your money in stages, and keep raising the cost. Avoid this service at all costs. You'll waste your time, patience, and hard-earned money.

I had a phone that needed to be unlocked and T-Mobile wouldn't do it for me directly, despite it being on the T-Mobile network for over a year. Direct Unlocks was able to unlock it in less than 24 hours, when another company couldn't do it. It was a little more expensive than other companies, but they were able to compete the effort where others fell short. Kudos to them!

I feel like at first It would be sketchy and I would have to call my carrier and wait for a lock code and all that stuff. I bought my phone used so I wanted to unlock it to use networks because I am always on the go.
I was a little skeptical aswell of the fees but as soon as it said that I needed to wait a while I had hope! I genuinely love the speed of this service. I bought this a few days ago and it came to me today! Now my phone is unlocked from the previous carrier (cricket wireless). I genuinely love the quality and how they are true to what they say; if it wasn't for them I would be on sketchy websites loosing money. I would definitely use Direct Unlocks again for any of my other phones and I hope you guys do too! I love this!

Do not waste your money. Scamed me for 80$ will not issue refund. Do not use this site. Will ask you to pay atleast twice. Pay once they hit you again with a msg you need to pay more. Once you pay more they tell you bs and keep your money.
