This service is a scam. They deactivated my account and refuse to tell me why. I can't think of any way I could possibly have violated terms of service (because I WANT to be paid) and they just refuse to work with me.

I make a fair amount of money on various surveys/HIT/task/freelance sites, almost the equivalent of a job. This site was great but I had the same experience many commenters on here have referred to: I have been on Crowdtap for about 2-2.5 years. I am careful when I do surveys, I do not rush, I always tell the truth, no bots, no scripts nothing like that... That said, after doing probably several hundred dollars worth of their surveys and cashing them in for Amazon cards, I get kicked out and can't log in, my account is disabled. Not even an email until I complained to their chatbot, and eventually by direct email, they are unable or unwilling to answer questions, I think they review your returns with an (apparently poorly programmed) bot, or by humans who don't really give AF. That, or if you are good at surveys and make too much (total conspiracy on my part) they suspend you. Here's all I got, several times same form letter (note there is no actual information about what they claim I did or didn't do in there):

We regret to inform you that your account was deactivated after being flagged for violating our terms of service (https://crowdtap.com/auth/terms-of-service) through either identified suspect account activity or violations of our quality and response guidelines.

We understand this may not be the result you wanted however, our team will be unable to respond to further inquiries regarding requests for specific reasons or asking for second chances.

We vigilantly monitor behavior on our platform so we can keep rewarding members for their honest engagement. As a result, we are unable to reinstate your account and will not approve the creation of a new account on Crowdtap. However, you can find any/all possible reasons covered under our terms of service.

Had enough points for $30 then my account was deactivated and told its cause I didn't provide truthful answers! But it's also an automated response every time you open a ticket! Saying your account is deactivated and don't ask to get it reactivated! Waste of time!

My account was suspended for some reason. They told that it was there mistake and said that they would reinstate it. Well that was a lie. Now they have all of my points and I can not get them. Do not use this site. It is a SCAM

After trying their app to do some surveys they blocked /banned me from doing more surveys for no reason at all they only do it when you're closer to getting you're reward do'nt trust them you would not be satispied with them at all im not the only unsatispied user of their scam here are a couple of loyal survey apps i recommend you try #1 survey junkie you start off with a 5$ cash out # 2 one pulse which you can cash out at 20$ #3 surveys on the go which let you cash out at 10$ and zap surveys which let you cash out at 25$ these survey sites are much better then this lying scam site which is run by greedy scam artists who wo'nt reward /pay people for their time at all.

I initially found Crowdtap when searching for product sampling/testing. I tried so many new things that I still use today. I've noticed they don't have or don't offer me samplings lately. But it's okay I'm up to $50 in amazon cards for just taking surveys. I had a recent issue I wanted to change my email. It got done in less than 24 hours, great communication.

I would of easily gave it ZERO stars but they make you rank 1. Definitely a scam. You need to earn 1000 pts to receive a $5 gift card but they conveniently let you get to even 989 pts then make you wait DAYS to reach their goal. They waste your time while they record and use your input and feedback for their surveys and yea they benefit more from you than you will ever benefit from them.

Hi guys, my account is blocked or hacked, i been honest with the surveys so I don't understand why my account is blocked or hacked, looks like someone hacked my account and it's blocked help me get my account back

Very disappointing, got almost 4000 points and all of a sudden deactivate my account for dishonest answers which is completely false! I feel so violated for him being very personal information and then be called a liar!

My account was disabled after ~12 hours. I had finished most of the profile and hadn't completed any surveys so wasn't upset, just curious. I searched for reviews of the site and found that it seems to be quite commonplace. Just glad it wasn't after I had accumulated a balance as many others.

Be truthful like me and get disabled for good after a year or two of giving thoughtful truthful answers about my company business finances

Its very cool to get your stuff but one thing is do not because they will ask you the same stuff twice to make your telling the truth

Improperly banned I was told that my account would be reinstated but it hasn't yet so please reinstated again

I been with Crowdtap survey company for over 5 years I was disabled after my phone was hacked, all they said is we sorry, I'm still disabled from site. Don't was your time, Mypoints is better.

I've been using crowdtap for a few months, cashing out when I had enough points for a $25 or $30 gift card because I've ready reviews that they'd suddenly drop you. Well, it happened today. I tried to log on and couldn't so I contacted customer support. They said they are unable to reinstate my account because I violated the terms of service.
I read over the terms of service and have no idea what I did wrong. I actually tried to answer the survey questions very honestly and took the time to thoughtfully type out answers. I am really disappointed in crowdtap and disappointed that I had nearly 3000 points, which I was going to redeem for a Target gift card to help buy Christmas gifts for my kids. The points are gone and crowdtap was a massive waste of time and energy.

I see by reading other reviews that my situation is far from unique. I had been answering surveys honestly and carefullly with only one account. I couldn't log on and thought the site
Was down. Tried another browser and found out that I was banned from the site. As others have stated responses are generic and tell you that you have violated their terms of service which you cannot read becauase you are banned from the site. "While we understand your desire for more information, we cannot provide specific details. We believe that providing specifics could lead to spam accounts manipulating the platform." This is the pathetic response and they of course kept the money I had earned.
Don't waste your time on this site. There are too many legit survey sites, Cash out if you are a member and the run away while you can!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
I've spent months racking up points, little by little, only for my account to be conveniently disabled when I reached enough points for a $20 reward. Contacting support gave me no information as to why whatsoever, except that I violated their terms and of course, not which ones, and essentially cheerfully told me to buzz off. I really could have used that tiny bit of money.

The end of the email in the photo reads "Thanks for choosing Crowdtap and have a great day!" Yes. I'm having a great day. I love trying to be civil and reasonable only to get cheated out of rightfully what I earned. (Note my sarcasm.)

If you earn anything, just cash it out immediately. Please. Don't let them do this to you too.

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I just wasted two hours doing surveys and BOOM, my account is deactivated. Reason: NONE. I suspect it's because when they ask the question inquiring about my household's income I answered with "Prefer Not To Say". That is horrific! Like most survey sites, this one too stereotypes and profiles their customers. This app has disclaimers stating they would appreciate honest answers and that's a bold face lie when the app itself is not honest! The disclaimer should be like all the rest of the bull$#*! survey sites state "ONLY IF YOU MAKE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD, ARE WITHIN A CERTAIN AGE BRACKET AS WELL AS A CERTAIN RACE THAT UPHOLDS TO THE APP'S STANDARDS….ONLY THEN CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN OUR SURVEYS!"
THE APP ALSO STATES IT IS ALL ABOUT INTEGRITY WHICH IS ANOTHER LINE OF BALONEY!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Also, you need 1000 points to get a whopping $5. Total waste of time and scam.

Crowdtap deactivated my account but they don't say why they did, I summited a ticket on 11/04/2022 regarding a new email address I wanted to change and christina did reply back to me and ever since that day no response back so basically days have gone by and Nothing, so I left a review and developer did reply to me and apologize and said for me to reach out to Support team but I got tired of submitting ticket to ticket, all I want is for them to reactivate my account, is not much I'm asking for.

I have been with Crowdtap for at least a year and I hae been enjoying taking their surveys. I wouldn't even call them surveys, they're more like questionairres about you. No one knows you better than yourself so just answer all the questions honestly and it will be a breeze. Because the questions will be repeated many times down the road to test your honesty. You will get a board with different colored squares worth different point values and on different topics. You only need 1000 points to cash out a $5 gift card, which I average about once a week. And that's only visiting the site every 2-3 days for 30-60 minutes to clear as many squares that are made available to me as I can. There's nothing complicated about it. It's real easy, laid back and enjoyable. You usually get your redemption the same day or next day. I belong to a lot of survey panels and this is one I really look forward to. It's a nice change of pace.
