Most of the users shown are not active. They have a view called "online". Few if any of the people in that view are actually online.
I got more activity from users 100s of mikes away than localy. Two from West Virginia were fraudulant. I reported one, she was removed. Then i suggested the other from WV mightbe fake as well. Then they removed me.😲
This used to be a good site. Not so sure online dating is valid anywhere. This site certainly is not.
Christian mingle is trash.i set up a profile 5 days ago and have got emails of smiles, matches, and messages sent to me all of which are not on my profile.i can't respond can't read them and who knows if people are getting my messages.this is the worst purchase I've ever made.ive requested they refund my money and take down my profile and I doubt they are going to do that.so they stole my money and are providing non of the services I paid for.thats your hustle huh taking advantage of christians?wish I would have done my homework and read these reviews before purchase.lesson learnt.
Christian mingle was a horrible experience for me.
95,% fake profiles.
One picture
Often with sunglasses
A short profile
Incongruous information
34 year Olds that would marry a 75 year old
Bad spelling
And Immediately want to leave the site and have your phone number
I got a refund
I'm writing this review for a family member who typically doesn't leave feedback but felt compelled to after his dismal experience with Christian Mingle. He signed up for a six-month subscription expecting matches aligned with his faith values. Instead, he encountered a random matching process, including a trans woman as a match and noticing unmarried pregnant women on the site, which he found wholly inappropriate for a Christian platform. Simply put, this site is trash!
I joined Jan 2024 and quit Feb 2024 after buying a 6 month membership. Summary of experience: Of 30 men I "chatted with"—- maybe 2 were real life people who were there for honest reasons. Which means all the others were scammers. My stress level increased expotentially as I realized I had to develop a high level of suspicion I never had in my daily life.
Other issues: preferences make no difference as your "matches" from CM do not reflect anything you marked in preferences. Clunky slow messaging—takes way too long to even chat with someone. Takes 30 minutes to say what you could have said in SMS or by phone in 5-7 minutes. Doubtful that CM vet any profile based on my experience. They probably are misrepresenting their success rate of real connections since my experience produced very different stats. Definitely not worth any level of membership.
Been on Christian Mingle 4 months - every profile is either fake or a scam artist trying to steal your personal information. And there is rarely anyone in the city you live in - you are contacted by people hundreds of miles away. Many of the messages are written with multiple spelling errors and grammatically incorrect - clearly written by uneducated frauds. It's absurd.
I turned in five fake profiles the first 24 hours of use and then a day later my profile was taken down on suspicion of fraud. No reasons given for why I was suspected of fraud. When I complained they came back and said I could rejoin. No thank-you. Stay away from this site. Way too many scammers.
After 5 years of widowhood, I am ready to share my life with someone. I thought Christian Mingle would be a site where I would meet men who shared my faith and would like to explore a relationship with me. Most of the responses I got turned out to be scammers and I have met no one in person. The matches from the site don't come close to meeting my preferences or I am "matched" to a man who wants a much younger woman. I had more success on a secular site but without a shared faith that isn't going to work for me. This was a hard and costly lesson. I will not be renewing my subscription. Here's is my advice: if you want to meet someone who shares your faith - trust God and go where He is honored - CHURCH.
There are nothing but scammers on this site! Even the site itself tries to scam you. Months later I receive emails saying they renewed my membership and I have one minute to respond. That email is a SCAM! Every person I was involved with (upwards of 30 men) were looking for money. One that I was involved with for a month and asked for money, ended up on our local news scamming a woman out of $125,000. Christian Mingle is no longer a legit website. DO NOT USE!
I honestly believe this site is the most dishonorable dating site I've tried thus far. Look at the BBB ratings and you will find the vast majority who have spend hundreds of dollars experienced loads of fake profiles, almost no responses from anyone other than over 500 miles away, etc. Add that to the archaic search features which waste tons of time and the terrible interface with phones and tablets and customer service that makes your cable and internet providers look like saints (it's that bad). The fact that the word Christian is in the name is reprehensible. Is there no shame or conviction in the ownership?
I meet a nice lad called Jack from 40, SA,TX works as an IT HELPDESK, veteran. He was on premium, so we talked alot after 2 days. I cannot see his message suddenly and they keep prompting me to upgrade since I don't know how to pay using google pay, it took awhile. I promise Jack we would talk again on our dayoff. Then after 4 days CM suddenly suspended my account. I am quite devastated nd decided to stay away from there for good. I hope I can connect to him one day.
Here is the description of myself that was rejected, why, I have no clue as I'm not saying anything wrong or bad "Gary just gave in to temptation and decided to try this for one month to start. He moved west from Montreal in 1982 where he attended Evangel Pentecostal. In Vancouver, Gary was going to Glad Tidings Temple on Fraser St. Pastor at the time was Kirk Duncan. Today he lives alone in his own Condo in Abbotsford BC and has a car. He says he's getting a lot of likes, etc. but none of them are anywhere close to being local. Being local means anywhere in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver and as far out as Whistler, Seattle, and Portland.
I only paid for one month to start. I really want to see if I can find myself a GF to start and then we can talk about something more. I'm tired of being alone and going on road trips by myself. He's retired now so has lots of time on his hands, was working in the Downtown East Side for the City of Vancouver in one of its Social Housing complexes."
Save your money and dont fall victim to the Christian in it's name. No way to cancel in 48 hours, like you should be able to. Scammers galore. One, asked me to send him a 300 Amex Card. Old profiles for matches that haven't been active in years.
The site is a complete scam. I signed up and was inundated by fake profiles -- tons of traffic VERY few real people. They literally use Christianity to scam you. Horrible. Amazed at the fake reviews giving it 5 stars. It's completely fake.
After paying for a membership, I realized that the site is worthless. I see only the same handful of men all the time, the site is hard to maneuver, getting your money back is impossible, and there is no real "help" available. Definitely NOT WORTH IT!
I've tried twice. Wasted a couple hundred dollars and I'll I got was hacked twice and an attempted scam. Customer service doesn't exist. Everything takes a week+ to approve. And no one in customer service ever did respond to the scams or hacks. Save your money and protect your info- don't use this site. They don't know what they are doing for security.
Scammers will use this website to post fake information and then bilk victims out of $$$$$. One person I know won't listen to anyone when she is told her current boyfriend is scamming her. First red flag: Fake name. Second red flag: Lied about where he lived. Third red flag: Lied about his age. The guy is from Nigeria. She thinks they are getting married. She has sent him $$$$$. He is supposedly coming to this country so they can get married. When he was supposed to be flying out, he first claims a delay as the police detained him for looking suspicious. Then, he claimed he didn't have money to pay for carry on baggage. Now, he tells victim that he needs $700 to fly out. Unfortunately, she has been scammed multiple times. She needs psychiatric help. At one point she said she would fly to Nigeria to be with him if he couldn't come to this country. Christian Mingle needs to do a better job of knowing a scammer from an honest person looking to meet another honest person. Smh
I have yet to enjoy 1 time of seeing my messages and smiles with out having to restart your site. When using it, you can't scroll to the places you need to be without restarting. What is wrong with your platform?
You need to fix your site. I also am very tired of having people send smiles without fully registering. I thought when I paid for your site you had some type of protocol to be sure participants can see each other and that everyone has filled out their forms.
I am not pleased with what I have been seeing and the amount of time I invest getting to see what is on my profile.
You promise better, so live up to the promises.
I would appreciate a followup!
They operate on completely dishonest non-Christian business model. If you don't want to put your money at risk, use a more reputable site. ChristianMingle is really not what they claim to be. They make money on gullible singles. They want to know your bank card detail so they can put you on automatic renewal. They are nothing more than thieves.
They use bots and totally fake profiles to attract new users to their site and fleece them of their money. Good concept but poor execution.
Many will ask for personal information. I have asked 3 people to give a thumbs up picture after them asking about getting on hangout with google, or a phone number. ALL three stopped communication. Be safe out there!
Answer: I had the same experience! Technically it's the worst site with worthless customer service. I discovered a great platform for meeting Christian ladies https://j4l.com/402007 It's flawless - it's working perfectly technically, their girls are simply too gorgeous for words, both inside and out! I enjoy greatly the company of the women I met there and soon I will meet one of them in person.
Answer: I thought they were a legit website unfortunately they are ripped off!
Answer: I just hit unsubscribe and you really have no choice but to let the time you paid for run out. After I unsubscribed, they sent me an email that I did and I also made sure to remove the credit card they had on file. I only took one month.
