Horrible technology with crazy slow loading times. Features many "users" who are no longer active, giving the dishonest impression that there are plenty of people to meet. Plenty of scammers also. STAY AWAY!
I am not saying you can't find a partner on this site but it will be a torturous process. Very small number of paying members. Tremendous number of scammers. Cumbersome communications process. Worthless matching methodology. Hang around the grocery store, instead. It is free, you can see the person and you go there anyway.
I joined 5 days ago and everyone I've met posted fake photos and biographies. Two separate postings were attractive women who claimed to be currently deployed in Syria with the U.S. Army. Another sent me a photo which turned out to be a popular influencer. Most are easy to spot because of their pathetic diction. These are not isolated they're every person I've been in contact with. When I've reported them to the site they suddenly disappear but I'm sure the same scammers have another profile. The site reps seem to care less as they're reaping in the financials. The last person I was in contact with said she was from Nashville. The phone number she supplied was from Indiana. She claimed to be an attractive white female with photos to match and was in fact an illiterate African woman with a British accent. Beware!
To my greatest disappointment, I haven't met a truly Christian woman there. Very few women knew the basics of the Bible. Christianmingle doesn't have a large pool of women to choose from, moreover most of them are definitely fake. All the chats there are shallow and dull. You can hardly find a real and smart woman there who will capture your attention. I have n idea why they call themselves ChristianMingle. They operate on dishonest and disreputable business model.
This site is fake. They only care about money not people using it. I lost my husband of 40 years, five years ago. I am not someone who has ever used dating web-sites. I was stupid to think because this site is named Christian Mingle they would be Christ like minded. I was very wrong. They don't know what that means. Stay away from this site. They are scammers.
I cannot express how disappointed I am from this website. The only "free" thing I can do is like and send a smile, sending a message is impossible and I feel there is very little engagement on this. So actually getting a membership would be totally ridiculous. My best tip for you, don't waste your time on ChristianMingle!
Christian mingle's app is horrible! Takes for ever download from page to page. Has no feature that are useful. And the majority of people on this have been off the site for more than 5months.
This was such a waste of money! Please don't get on this site. Not worth it.
Although the membership was pricey, I actually paid for it so I could receive messages and matches. Unfortunately, I don't think the membership fee they charge is worth it because the amount of engagement your profile receives is very very low, or if none at all. You will rarely get messages, likes, and views on Christian Mingle. I'm guessing it's because most people don't pay for the membership, which is too expensive!
I used ChristianMingle in late 2020 and in 2021. During the two times I used the site actively, Christian Mingle had 10 times more scam attempts and fake profiles than Zoosk or OurTime. In the photo is a common profile type. I received many contacts from profiles like these. They are of no value.
One day in 2021 I received 21 messages that had all the warning signs the sites give to identify a scam.
In every situation during the two times I was active on Christian Mingle when I responded to a message, it quickly became clear the people were seeking to scam me.
ChristainMingle's marketing is excellent, its product is not. Buy hey, it feels great to think that in every state in the nation there are many women 40 years younger than me who want to meet me! I might keep my subscription for that reason alone --- nah.
After my husband passed away I reluctantly decided to try online dating. Thinking a Christian website might be a bit more genuine than others, I paid $50 for a month of fake profiles, fake contacts, fake people and fake customer service. There is NOTHING real about this website. Just scammers trying to take advantage of vulnerable people wanting to make a genuine connection.
I paid for a year's subscription and most of the time I have a message in my inbox and log on, it gives me errors. Sometimes it says I need to subscribe. It is so infuriating most of the time when I can't carry on a decent conversation. I told them and asked for my money back, but they are not responding. Do not waste your time with this place. It is a scam.
I recently signed up for Christian Mingle and all I was able to do was receive troll posts from free accounts that were quickly removed by Christian Mingle. They use to offer chat rooms but they are long gone. I really don't know what they offer for current $50 CAD per month they charge. Do not waste, your time creating even a free profile.
Due to unfortunate event I find myself single and I thought this would be a good site/app. I'm not looking for hook-up, I'm looking for a relationship. So I tried to set up an account with CM...
That was a mistake, the suspended my account and asked for a whole bunch of personal documents, such as bills and IDs. Look this is just a dating site at its core, you should never be asked by a site like this for such personal information. It was not a hassle I needed right now, I'm still trying to recover from the reasons that brought me to the site in the first place.
This site USED to be good. Now it seems the only users active on it are scammers. It actually looks like the site makes deceitful profiles because a profile will sound legit and it will say the user was online today but then if I send a smile or a message to the user, that user does not even show up in the list of those who viewed my profile. I am not a 10 but I am attractive enough that my profile gets looked at.
While connected I get a barrage of smiles sent from men with the username "Mingler..." and no profile picture or significant description, in other words, scammers. Those scammers should not be permitted on the site.
I have made several complaints but they never find the person in their profiles. At least 11 of the men that contacted me were scammers. With fake pictures. And after texting a guy for 2 months turns out to be he confessed he was 23 years old from Nigeria and that they were a group of them doing these to get money out of women I did not give him a cent. One of them after texting 3 times wanted to get married and wanted me to send him half of the money to open a Real Estate.
I saw one of the commercials and decided to sign up. I paid my money and got to talking with a few nice ladies. Finally, I met one and although it didn't work out, we've become great friends. I have another date coming up soon, hopefully things work out better this time. I really need a good shuffle board partner!
Christianmingle as a company is pretty honest. They promptly refunded my account when I changed from 3-months to one month.
On the negative sided:
*I was contacted by Many scamers from day one.
*Navigating the Website is Painfully Slow.
*Often some tabs (like 'who Liked me') Do Not Work.
*Pool of eligible quality singles is so small; no matter how much you expand the radius.
*It's over priced.
I thought using a Christian dating service would be better than others. Not true spamming, profiles similar, large percentage of no pics. 500 mile radius of finding a match, nothing closer. Immediately matches wanted to go to email or phone texting. Spent money for nothing. Sent many requests... And no response from Christian Mingle about any of my questions.
No one active. The few who are do not reply and aren't looking for anything serious. Did not find anyone worth my time. Help, support, and remove profile buttons do not work. There's a chat bot but you never get to a real person. Support is nonexistent. Expensive app with nothing to gain from it. Good luck getting your money back.
In all honesty, this dating site is 90% spam. From different account holders with the same exact story "just bought a ranch in TX. Have to go out of the country in a week," to the fact they live 2000 miles away - or outside the US, even though my settings are at 50 miles. Then there is the, "tell me about yourself, what are you looking for, how long have you been on the site, I have a friend who isnt on here that I'm trying to help find someone, here is his email." Add to this, the obvious give away of a John Smith who has broken english written skill! I don't mind searching, but I woild never suggest this site to anyone. Don't waste your time or money!
Answer: I had the same experience! Technically it's the worst site with worthless customer service. I discovered a great platform for meeting Christian ladies https://j4l.com/402007 It's flawless - it's working perfectly technically, their girls are simply too gorgeous for words, both inside and out! I enjoy greatly the company of the women I met there and soon I will meet one of them in person.
Answer: I thought they were a legit website unfortunately they are ripped off!
Answer: I just hit unsubscribe and you really have no choice but to let the time you paid for run out. After I unsubscribed, they sent me an email that I did and I also made sure to remove the credit card they had on file. I only took one month.
