No one active. The few who are do not reply and aren't looking for anything serious. Did not find anyone worth my time. Help, support, and remove profile buttons do not work. There's a chat bot but you never get to a real person. Support is nonexistent. Expensive app with nothing to gain from it. Good luck getting your money back.
In all honesty, this dating site is 90% spam. From different account holders with the same exact story "just bought a ranch in TX. Have to go out of the country in a week," to the fact they live 2000 miles away - or outside the US, even though my settings are at 50 miles. Then there is the, "tell me about yourself, what are you looking for, how long have you been on the site, I have a friend who isnt on here that I'm trying to help find someone, here is his email." Add to this, the obvious give away of a John Smith who has broken english written skill! I don't mind searching, but I woild never suggest this site to anyone. Don't waste your time or money!
All of these dating sites are scams to get your money. I'm a 6'4" model, athlete, comedian, look like in my 20's and not a single message. I went to upload several different pictures of mine and they've all been rejected by their "team". The one or two real people are old fat attention seeking single moms hiding behind pictures of themselves from when they were younger and middle aged husbands cheating on their wives. You could find one of the "real ones" in a cheap bar. Not the type of place you'd look for a soul mate.
My experience is similar to the other reviews posted here - many smiles and a couple of messages from men hundreds if not thousands of miles away. Many of these people had no picture and no name and though they may just have had free accounts, it just seemed so fishy. And then there were the truly scammy ones - the woman giving me her friend's email address because he wanted to be in touch; the people asking for a phone call right away and the ones with English-sounding names sending incomprehensible messages. I wish I had not signed up for multiple months and now I need to pay attention and cancel before getting charged for any additional time. Please everyone, read the reviews before signing up. I wish I had.
A Total scam! I received dozens of smiles every day from women all over the US and other conterys. I'm 53 years old and I know my playing field, there's now way on gods green earth these women would be interested in me. Not to mention the numerus messages stating they have a friend "Not on the site" that is perfect for me and she's really into my profile and here's how you contact her, Really? Do Not Join this site! The owners of this site have lots control, just don't care or they are part of the scam.
In spite of the good attempt of this site, the end result is that it is as exclusionary as real Christians often are in real life - creating their own little cliques that you can't be part of.
I'm a Christian, I'm divorced (unfortunately). I can't join ChristianMingle. Why not? Because they want me to scan my divorce certificate and send it to them as "proof". Are you kidding me?!? I can get a credit card with less proof. You want me to scan my personal information and send it to a virtual company? HAHAHAHA... Seriously.
Update your policies, people. If I'm honest enough to admit that I'm divorced, chances are that I am really and truly divorced. Otherwise, I could just lie and say I'm single, like half the other people on the site.
Christian mingle has the worst customer support ever. It took a total of 12 back and forth emails to get a simple answer. They were of NO help whatsoever. I asked to speak to a live person and was told that it was for paying members. You know what's funny? I was a paying member - of course after this experience, I cancelled my membership. They are the absolute worst!
I have been single a long time, am a born again christian, and decided just to try Christian Mingle. Never... again. Within 2 weeks someone hacked into my profile, viewed over 100 profiles of men, and had begun chats with a few of them to try and meet them in person. I immediately deleted my pics and then my whole profile. When I emailed Christian Mingle, they responded by asking for personal information (i. E. DOB, last 4 of card used to pay, etc.) which is completely insensitive and not safe. I then tried to call and they never pick up. I truly would advise no one to take a chance with this site. The headache of having your personal information compromised is not worth possibly getting a date. They obviously do not have any security in place to help anyone who falls prey to a scammer. It's like they literally don't care about customers.
It's a typical scam site with mostly fake profiles and catfishers. They pretend to be Christians but in fact they are con artists from Africa and other countries. All the women I met there were genuine. Christianmingle was nothing like this. It's a big scam. Don't believe its name!
This site is a bad joke! Two times they blocked my profile (for safety reasons, as they stated) right after I had paid for membership! They simply took my money. I quit it when it happened for the 2nd time. There are normal sites like. J7Match.com
They care about their reputation so they don't act like thieves and they respect their customers. In addition, there are more genuine ladies than on ChristianMingle. I had to spend hours on CM trying to figure out who is real and who is fake. The majority of ChristianMingle women (especially the good-looking ones) are fake.
I did chat with quite a few guys on this one. They were very nice and we write quite often. However, about 2 guys started playing games right away. I think you could definitely get a date, but I wasn't sure if these guys would be serious.
I signed up for a month, looking for good Christian ladies in my local area. All I got were smiles from women on the other side of the country. Out of 13 women I talked to, all of them went straight for the, 'lets get off here and text, send me your cell number and your email. Each and every one used poor spelling, grammar and it was obvious they were fake profiles. After about 5-8 messages, I was hit up for money, the latest iPhone! 5 women said they were nurses serving on 'peace keeping' or 'humanitarian' missions in Yemen, or Lebanon. One woman sent me her picture that was from a totally different contact person... they BOTH used the same fake picture! Do NOT waste your time or money on this SCAMMER SITE! Worst site EVER and the scammers stand out like a sore thumb!
Been on for less than 3 weeks. I've blocked 4 men for scamming, reported them, they can't spell English, are looking for e-mail right in the first conversation, just don't even fall for it. This whole site stinks. The one "real" person I've talked to was out for sex. I am looking for a Christian man. This is not a Christian site. Save your money and move on.
I paid for the 3 month subscription and in less than a month my account was hacked and they changed all my information, removed pictures, sent out mass messages etc and now I can't log back in, can't delete my account, nothing. Apparently this is a rampant issue with CM. Be VERY careful on here
I was on for three days. Less than 10 "available matches, and NONE were of interest. I requested a refund and did not get one. Given a generic letter and excuses. Not Customer friendly. Terrible site.
I have tried this about 4 years ago and all it was, was nationwide "smiles". I gave it another try. Same thing. No response from people I contacted and the few and I do mean few emails I received, were either clearly written by someone out of the country trying to sound like here, or they were all coincidently going off that weekend and wanted me to contact them by phone or email. This is a huge waste of money and I'm in process of trying to fight the charges. I think they believe if you're a Christian, you're a patsy and will believe anyone just because they SAY this is a Christian site. DO not waste your money.
All I can say is I am happy that I didn't get more than a month's subscription. This truly is a HUGE scam! I was contacted by all Midwesterners and I live in New England first red flag! My preferences were within 100 miles. You could tell they were fake profiles from the grammar and spelling another red flag! Sure enough. Next day the profiles were "removed". BEWARE!
Christian Mingle is garbage. I have experienced scams like every other person that has been on the site, recently something more seditious has been occurring. I'll send a message to someone and it will not reach her. I've opted in to the notifications on my phone. I‘ll receive a message banner saying that someone sent me a message, then I'll go to the app to see that there is no message. Also, I'll send a message and it will not populate in the text… to be clear I was a fully paid up member. I don't trust the app or the website, I'll never give another dollar to it or its parent company.
As soon as you join you are bombarded with women that are "interested" in you by sending you a "smile". It is all fake. Even though you set your distance limit, the web site ignores it and fills your email box with alerts that someone sent you a smile. I don't live in South Korea, so what is the point in chatting with a person that lives half away across the world. After a few chat sessions they all demand you to buy them the latest iPhone with a built in service plan, money through an online app, money to pay for plane tickets so that they can "see you". What a scam. Don't be a part of it.
Do not use this site! They will not
Protect you. They just want your monthly fee. My father is being unknowingly taken by someone that
Does not
Exist
On their site and they won't look into it, because they don't care. I have proof
That it
Is a scammer and they didn't care. They don't care about you, your happiness or even if
You are a Christian, just the almighty $$.
Answer: I had the same experience! Technically it's the worst site with worthless customer service. I discovered a great platform for meeting Christian ladies https://j4l.com/402007 It's flawless - it's working perfectly technically, their girls are simply too gorgeous for words, both inside and out! I enjoy greatly the company of the women I met there and soon I will meet one of them in person.
Answer: I thought they were a legit website unfortunately they are ripped off!
Answer: I just hit unsubscribe and you really have no choice but to let the time you paid for run out. After I unsubscribed, they sent me an email that I did and I also made sure to remove the credit card they had on file. I only took one month.
