Like almost everyone here, I have been stung by the "Three days" period to receive your card.
I couldn't find anywhere on their website any indication of a three days period. Just like many others pointed out, the FAQs section says "a few minutes or up to one business day", but you're never told this upfront and as someone who buys discounted gift cards frequently, I've never experienced a delay in receiving any gift card from any other website. The longest I had to wait was probably 30 minutes. But, THREE DAYS? SERIOUSLY.
I mailed them 2 gift cards and they are now claiming they did not get them. I did business with the one time before and had good luck but I guess that's how they sucker you in.
I see I am not the only one with this same problems.
I tried to order a $200 and $25 Egift card. I accidentally put a physical $25 card in my cart. I emailed to ask them to switch the physical card for an Egift card. They simply cancelled the $25 physical card portion of my order and instructed me to reorder it which I did. It STILL took 2 days to receive the $25 Egift card but NO $200 Egift card which was ordered first.
You can't call and speak to anyone in person. You have to send an email or leave a message and you won't hear back from them for another day and if you miss a call, then you have to call back and leave another message and wait another day for a response.
They emailed and told me I needed to verify information through a phone call before they could send my $200 card even though they had already sent the $25 card. So I played phone and email tag for a couple days and finally talked to someone and verify idiotic things like the phone number on the back of my card and the nearest crossroads to my address. What kind of crap is this?
Six days later and I still have not received my ELECTRONIC gift card! I emailed them to cancel the order but I suspect they will now get struck by a bolt of lightening and magically send the card and charge my account. I even checked into blocking them from charges but Cardpool uses multiple billing addresses so even if you block one, they can bill you using another merchant address. That's shady at best.
On a side note, I ordered my electronic gift card from Raise, which I had used once before, and I got my gift cards almost immediately. Even though the discount wasn't as much, it's worth it not to have to wait a week to receive an email with your purchase.
Why would it take any more than 30 minutes to receive an electronic gift card? Do NOT waste your time dealing with Cardpool.
Stole my $50 giftcard without paying me, said they never got it. This would be the first time USPS has ever lost a package of mine or someone stole one after a long history of sending and receiving goods via post, so I don't doubt that CardPool received my gift card. Don't do business with them, you've been warned. They are con artists and will steal your money. Fact.
Back in June I ordered a Buffalo Wild Wings gift card while in the restaurant thinking they were as good as their competitors. The gift card never came. Neither that night or at all. Fast forward almost 8 months and I mad the mistake of ordering from them again while in the same restaurant. I realized I never received my other one so I wrote to them. It took them a couple of days to send both. Two days ago I ordered Lowes gift cards to order home renovation stuff for my dad who is currently helping me finish my house for a rental while I am stationed in another state. Again, it did not process in 10 minutes like they say. It took over 24 hours. Finally I get one of the cards in my inbox along with another email that said they shipped my other gift card to my old house. They were both electronic. I sent them an email around the 24 hour mark for these cards to cancel them. Of course their reply time on the site is different than what they include in the autoresponse email. Stick with more well reputed sites like GiftCardZen. I also do not recommend GiftCardSpread. They are very slow.
Things have started to get real bad recently. All the past orders that I placed were delivered only on the 3rd business day.And these are egift cards which other companies ship out in minutes or hours. I'm taking my business to Raise or other good companies that can deliver on time.
I sold them 2 cards worth $50 and sent them in using the pre paid label they emailed me. They now claim they never received my cards.
Cancelled two of my orders without explanation. For one, I received an email. For the second, they didn't even bother to tell me.
I'm not sure why this site has so many bad reviews. As a person who used to own a survey site, it's probably from people not following directions, or trying to use the card after they sold it. It worked perfectly for me, I sold two cards, a Macy's card that I got from swagbucks and a Victoria Secret card that I gave to a Tinder chick and took it back from her after I found out she got some more side dudes without asking me first. Got my check in about 5 biz days.
Horrible experience! Ordered several Lowes e-gift cards. Cardpool's website claims most orders will be processed within "several minutes". Once you place the order, the disclosure changes to "most order processed within 24 hours". Mine is still processing (4 days after placing the order). I called their customer service number 12 times - every time got a voice mail. A also sent them several emails with the request to cancel the order as it did not meet processing deadlines stated on THEIR own company's website. Four days later received email from them asking to call them again to verify some information - this is in response to my request to cancel the order! They either need to get out of business or allocate proper resources to their customer service department. Currently, they are the best joke around in San Francisco! And they seem not to care!
I've never shopped with them before, but it seems the 10 minutes/1 business day timeline is a hoax. Cardpool really needs to beef up the narrative surrounding the timeline from order placement to fulfillment.
Having said that, if you call *******787 and request a cancellation politely, you may be meet with success as I just did. The representative was very patient and polite in helping me do so. Here's hoping they follow through.
This company was fantastic for buying and selling gift cards! They recieve 4 stars due to slow communication. I bought an e-gift card after a couple days of not receiving it I emailed them. They got back to me the next day apologizing for the delay and issued the card. I used it at the store and it had the exact amount on it. I then sold them a gift card and it was listed within a week. A few days later I received an email saying a buyer bought the card. Had to email them about payment after a week. I received payment by check in mail a week later after emailing them asking if they received the card. In all total it took 3 weeks from listing the card to receiving payment.
All these sites are scammers sometimes they use stolen cards etc... the best alternative is http://www.sfi4.com/*******/FREE because here you will buy your cards at auction at prices defying all competitions. Yesterday I bought an amazon card from $ 25 to $ 1.13. In addition to thegift card you will find everything you need at crazy prices and try to tell me http://www.sfi4.com/*******/FREE
I was attracted an extra 1% compared to other companies, but it turned out to be that it was not worth. Even it was worse not to get the e-cards in three days. I contacted them by e-mail since they did not have any other way of communication channels. They even did not reply to my e-mail. I definitely do not recommend CARDPOOL.
Ordered $2500 in Lowes gift cards for a home rehab. Figured I might as well save a few bucks. They cancelled my lagitimate order for no freaking reason. THIS SITE IS A SHAM! Don't use them
Ordered a gift card that was supposed to arrive in the mail, it turned out to be a printed on paper and the envelope was damaged. When I opened it, part of the numbers needed to use the card were ripped and I couldn't use it. I reached out to customer service to see if the could re-send or send it electronically since it's just one a piece of paper. After numerous attempts for the past 3 weeks, I've gotten no response.
I was a little worried about using cardpool but they offered the best value compared to other companies and I figured even if it caused a hassle its not like I was going to ever use the gift card as it was. Cardpool was really fast and I got the money as an amazon credit in less than 24 hours. I may use them again if I find myself in this situation.
Sold a $100 gift card to them to get a value of $72.50 back. Too good to be true. They say the buyout payments are processed within a day of them receiving the card, and payment should be received within a week. It's been about 3 weeks and my status is still "In Review." Sent an email to their support address and never got a response. Pretty sure I'm never getting that money. DON'T SELL CARDS TO THEM, YOU WON'T GET PAID. I don't know how this company is allowed to continue operating.
I got some gift cards from my credit card using my points, thought I would get 90% of the value rather than only get 50% to put toward my credit card balance. They say it takes 1 business day to review and approve. Three days later I get this:
" We recently received your gift card code transaction but our processing center encountered an issue while processing your cards.
Our risk assessment team has determined that we aren't able to accept the transaction at this time. We have cancelled the transaction and are returning ownership of the gift cards to you. Unfortunately, we're not able to disclose any further specifics regarding this process.
We apologize for any inconvenience to you.
Best regards,

A waste of my time... Not recommended.
I used cardpool five times in the past, but this time my card never arrived. Its said 7-10 business days but I waited an extra week just in case. I emailed them and got no responses (even when they claim to get back to you in 2-3 days). Called their number and it goes straight to a voicemail. I paid $104 and got nothing. No card, no response. Extremely disappointed. No idea what has happened to this business, if I can even call it that... Buyers Beware!
