I placed an order through in April 2016. Did not get any sort of an update or anything. I followed up in May 2016 to cancel the order because it was taking too long. Every time i called i had to explain to the agent what was going on because no one recorded any of my concerns about this order. Anyway, then they told me to get my bank to put a claim through to get the money back. So my bank did that of course. It is now July 2016 and they are not responding to my banks request. Terrible terrible terrible service. The sad part is that i actually like BTR when it first started up. Please don't order from these people.

Don't buy from BTR

I have a credit of almost $300. I purchased a Louis Vitton vintage bag. I was so excited, but i waited & waited but no bag. After 1 month after placing my order they cancelled my order? Bad business); Looking further into the situation i am sure that they sold that "same" bag to a new customer instead of myself that had a credit! I just want my $$$ back or the bag that i ordered.

After returning some items within the alotted time as per their return policy, I received a CREDIT for approx $370.00+. I requested it be credited to the credit card used for the purchases but was refused by BEYOND THE RACK.

Because I was no longer receiving emails from BEYOND THE RACK, I did some research and I I have discovered BEYOND THE RACK has filed for bankruptcy. I want to cry. I cannot afford to lose the $370.00+ that they have given me credit for. HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK? PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

If BTR has not delivered your product or have forced a credit vs. refund on an item they have not delivered you can log a dispute with your credit card company. I did this on a Celine bag that was ordered in April and they claimed they did not have. They issued store credit and stopped answer my emails. They also would not let me talk to any kind of manager. MasterCard offers 100 days protection and I believe Paypal offers 180. All you do is call them with the purchase date and expected delivery date and they will refund your money. BTR has 45 days to challenge and the only way they can do this is if they can prove you received the item.

Dissappointed

Ordered items (3) in early February approx value 350.00 CDN dollars and I got nothing. Responded to customer service multiple times in regards to a refund when items where not received by mid May but the response was "please be patient". Got an emai about the company claiming bankruptcy... chose between 5.00 refund or 15.00 credit... I don't want either... I will never buy from this site again and the 5.00 dollars is not worth my time! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

After having many great experiences with BTR for years, I am extremely disappointed with the treatment of their customers over the last 4 months. In February BTR agreed to return a $700 laptop onto my credit card, and never did. Finally this month they give me a BTR credit which is virtually useless because they are no longer processing orders. They will reroute you back to the shopping cart. Claiming its a "glitch in their system" they promise me they will order items manually. Tried this 3 times (which the same item) to no avail and no apologies/concern for my order. BEYOND DISSAPOINTED!

I copied this review from someone else because exactly the same happened to me!-Placed an order, items never shipped. Called after 10 weeks, was told that my items should be coming soon... Called 2 weeks later, and left message requesting refund because after waiting for 30 min, none answered.

I'm now contacting my credit card company to hunt down the refund for me. 3 months, no product. No communication from them. No offer to resolve anything. I'm out for retribution with these guys, and will take every single opportunity I can to slam them on social media...

Beware. Stay away. Don't buy anything from these crooks.

Not too long ago, founder Yona Shtern claimed that Beyond the Rack was the number three eCommerce site in Canada behind Amazon and eBay and eagerly gunning for the number one spot, with sales topping $50 million in the companys second year and $100 million in its third.

Beyond the Rack declared $150 million in sales in 2013.

In 2012, Shtern proudly speculated that Beyond the Rack was on track to become a $1 billion company within the next five years.

In recent times 2016 Gucci is suing for selling fake bags and also BTR just filled for bankruptcy. They are laying people off left and right and trying to liquidate all assets.

Scam...

Placed an order, items never shipped. Called after 10 weeks, was told that my items should be coming soon... Called 2 weeks later, said I should just wait. I told them I don't want the items, and to refund me. They would not refund me, only offer credit (useless...). No managers available in their call centre to speak to customers for escalation.

Worst service and company I have EVER dealt with. Funny part is, they used to be a decent company. I've ordered several times without issue. But I understand they changed ownership this year, and now everyone is getting ripped off.

I'm now contacting my credit card company to hunt down the refund for me. 3 months, no product. No communication from them. No offer to resolve anything. I'm out for retribution with these guys, and will take every single opportunity I can to slam them on social media...

Beware. Stay away. Don't buy anything from these crooks.

I placed several orders between February 2016 to March 2016, totaling approximately $1,500.00. Which I never received. I tried contacting BEYOND THE RACK multiple times, by email, online chat and telephone. I was told on May 20th that I would receive a full refund for my items which up to today, June 22, I have not received. Today, I called the consumer service number for BEYOND THE RACK and was told they could do nothing to help me out, and I would not receive the refund or get my items delivered. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about ordering something from this site to reconsider. The service I received was terrible and I am now without $1,500.00 and only received a small portion of the merchandise.

Terrible.

I ordered my product. I waited 5 months, no phone call nothing. I called and they said my product was discontinued and would give me store credit. I told them I did NOT want store credit and my money back onto my credit card. They refuse saying they only do credit and no cash refund.

Called my credit card company, and numerous complaints have been coming in regards to beyond the rack not shipping or refunding customers money.

If anyone has had this problem, call your credit card now and they will get your money back from beyond the rack!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! I ordered a Celine bag in April. Item never received. I got emailed from them saying they will refund to my credit card 5-7business days. After 10 business days, still no refund. I called in and they said they are unable to refund, due to transition to new management. I ended up calling my credit card company for a dispute. This is such a horrible service. The site is still open for more online purchases. THIS IS FRAUD!

I used to order great stuff. It was a super site. Niw they haven't been able to supply my last three orders and owe me 500 they won't refund back. Total scam now and I have to go through PayPal and mater card to try to get my money back. Don't shop here. It's a trap.

This company is the worst! I placed an order in February, the status of my order said it would ship out in March then suddenly the status changed and shortly after I recieved an email from the CEO stating that shipping was delayed because the were changing owners. A week later when I still had not received my order I emailed and nothing! Then I emailed two more times and nothing. I called and the rep could not give me any details about my order and said to give it two more weeks. I waited the two weeks and still nothing! So I emailed again and no response. I emailed two more times before I got a response. They said if I could wait two more weeks they would give me a $10 credit. They have to have been crazy to think I would spend another dime. I told them that I wanted a refund. It has now been about 6 weeks since I requested the refund. They keep saying that their refund department is backed up or they just completely ignore my emails. You cannot call because there is a stupid message that says they are having IT issues with their phones which is crap! I even filed a complaint with the BBB and they did not get a response from the company either. I filed a claim with my bank as well but there is nothing they can do to get my money back because it is over 60 days. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!
