Good prices

Great selection, everything you need for your truck. Got a set of sideboard steps. Getting ready to order a lot more stuff to make a complete overhaul of it. You can't afford to buy a new truck now a days so I'm going to make a new one!

"Regarding your recent order"

What a joke. Took 3 days to process my order before I got an email stating I could track my shipment. In the meantime I got about 5 spam emails from American Trucks with the headline subject stating "regarding your recent order". They were all spam BS emails trying to get you to purchase more items. Will not order from this place again.

Quick and easy

Just as easy like Amazon. I was able to find a similar truck by the reviews whether or not if I would like it on my personal truck. Lots of options and for a fair price when it comes down to a few selections of upgrades.

Open box used item

Received my fox ats 2.0 and it was a in a large box. Shipped with paper and the actual fox box was opened inside. Bolts loose rolling around chipping the new shock in the package. No paperwork, stickers instructions, and protective bags loose inside the box

Customer service has been dicey for me. I ordered an item that was to be returned and the rep had set it to a replacement making my refund take longer than needed. Also ordered an open box item that was not complete even though the description said it only had cosmetic damage. When trying to return the item I was told to damage the item or I would not be issued a refund. The item is a steel plate to cover my cat converter and I do not possess the tools to damage such an item. I spoke with the rep and was told I can send the item back but the shipping would fall on me. I opted to eat the cost of the item for some store credit but I just took a $50 loss for a bad description on American trucks behalf. I was told by a previous rep that as long as I return the item within the first 30 days of ordering I'd receive a full refund in store credit being that it was an open box item. Looking forward to using all my store credit because I seriously doubt I will be ordering from here again going forward.

I apologize for your experience with American Trucks, I located your order and see that you have spoken to customer service and they have issued you the mitigation amount of $160 to your account in Store credit. Keep in mind this does not expire and can be used on your next purchase with American Trucks. I understand your frustration with your experience. Another quick hit is when purchasing open box products we encourage our customers to view the photos listed and not just rely on the description. Order was damaged but was replaced quickly

Ordered a under seat storage unit and the box was opened and damaged. Parts were missing. Contacted customer support and explained situation. Rep. Sent email return link to upload pictures and a return shipping label for package. Packaged up product and sent back and received new underseat storage with in days. Was very impressed how the return / replacement was handled. Great service from American Trucks. Thank you and will continue to use this company for my truck needs.

Easy navigation.

Easy to navigate website. I have yet to receive my items, but I have been receiving emails notifying me when they have shipped. If I have any issues, I hope to have the same experience with customer service, but I have yet to communicate with customer service.

Order and return issues
January 17, 2025

Received my first order from American truck and it was missing key parts. Only found this out after an hour of removal of my 2025 GMC air intake. The goal was to install a K&N cold air intake. Called to have the missing part shipped to me and was told they don't do that, I would have to return the K&N filter to receive another. After an hour of working to removing the old filter then reinstall, I wasn't in the mood to do this again. I was told that I would have information for the return within 48 hours, it's been 72 and still haven't received a response. The K&N filter was a $500+ purchase and you think you would get a quicker response for the return. Depending on how the return process goes I may not order from this company again. If this was Amazon I would have had this already returned and I hate Amazon.

Problem not resolved
January 11, 2025

I recently ordered a leveling kit. One of the bolts that came with the kit was damaged. Granted, it was an open box purchase, but it shouldn't have damaged parts. I chatted customer service who said they would ship another bolt. Then I received an email saying my "order" was cancelled because the parts had been discontinued.

I'm 50/50 on AT

They had the product I wanted and it arrived quickly.
The shipping choices were, I believe, purposely deceptive in order to entice you to purchase faster shipping. I ultimately chose the free shipping option with an estimated 5-7 day arrival. It arrived the following day, which was faster than the expensive expedited option promised.
The post sale email spamming is ridiculous. I received 12 emails in the past 3 days.
If they were more honest in the sales process and didn't fill your inbox with garbage post sale, I'd give them a better score.
I doubt they'll share this review.
