This has been one of my favorite books I've ever read on old movie stars! Ricardo Cortez was extremely handsome and a talent long forgotten. The author did a terrific job researching this book. I have read over it twice!

I deeply regret ordering from this company. I ordered three items, and immediately noticed that one of the book sets was switched to a cheaper version. When I reached out, they initially refused to admit their mistake and sent the wrong set. After returning the incorrect items, I've been waiting over three and a half weeks for a refund with no response to my emails. The customer service is nonexistent, and their website gives misleading information. Avoid this company at all costs. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and dishonest.
Every book I've ever needed: Alibris has it! Used or new, shipping is quick and easy! If you don't mind a few highlighted lines, it saves so much money!
Also, passing around the same book: saves trees 🌲 LOVE IT!
Best site to find books, especially rarer or out of print editions. Shipping from Alibris is free over $39, and the only thing to watch out for are some unscrupulous third party sellers that list items for low prices, and then charge ridiculous shipping rates that only show up during the checkout process.
Resetting my password was a trying experience. It would have been far easier to use guest checkout, but your program did not allow that.
Also $28 for shipping 6 books seems like a lot, but it save me a lot of time and money running around to find these books locally.
As has been true in previous purchases, the items I received were exactly as described on the website. The order was acknowledged quickly and shipped very soon after ordering. The mailing process seemed to drag-on for quite awhile since it was sent via the USA "snail mail." However, every thing arrived in good shape.
I received this order on time and in the condition it was advertised. Though I don't like having to arbitrarily enter extra words just to fulfill an algorithm. Please remove the 100 character limit as it is completely unnecessary. If you are asking for reviews, they should be what your customer wants to say, in their words, good or bad.
I prefer ordering hard copies of books so they can be added to our library after enjoying them. This was exceptionally priced for a new hardcover book and it was literally in the mail to me the next day and I've gotten a lot out of the book itself. My only negative critique and the reason for your not five stars is that the book was not glued to the cover correctly so the pages extend slightly on the bottom. It's not a huge deal but I may not have made the purchase if I had known it was defective..
Was really surprised they had the books I needed, a lot of major brand stores failed to have my books because they were labeled to "dangerous", but knowledge is knowledge, no matter what. Search and check out was a breeze. Will definitely be coming back here for more "forbidden" information books👍
Book condition was as described and was shipped quickly. The only problem? My review was not long enough (too few characters). Guys, it was a satisfactory transaction- do I really need to expand on that?
Book came in perfect condition. Even though it was the international version, everything important was in English (chapters and all). I did have a 1 week delay on my books from usps's end, wasn't the sellers fault. Just keep that in mind when deciding what shipping you want. I would recommend buying from the seller again!

My husband and I have made the choice to no longer do business with that A to Z online seller, or the other bookseller that it secretly owns - Abe Books. After much research, my husband and I decided to try Alibris, and we made an excellent choice. The ordering process was easy, and the book arrived safely, quickly, and in perfect condition. If you, too, wish to make a change in your book buying habits, please try Alibris.
I use this website for books that are rarely found used. The selection is great and prices are some of the best I can find. The shipping is expensive but if you get a couple of books or more it's free so that's worth it.
The selection on the site is great full of rare and unique titles. It's a little annoying having to spend so much money in order to get free shipping as most book stores do free shipping or cheap shipping. I'd like to be able to buy just one book at a time but I feel that you have to get several to get the free shipping. Nevertheless, I like the site and appreciate the followup email!
I've purchased from Alibris for probably a few decades, and have never had any problems. They have also been one place I look when I can't find what I'm looking for elsewhere, and generally am able to find it. This was that sort of case, and a particularly hard-to-find book at a rather high price, but completely worth it. The book arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect shape, allowing for a few "dings" and dimples from the prior owner. It also arrived quite a bit sooner than expected or estimated.
I ordered a special edition of a hard to find item. After searching countless other sites, I found it here on Alibris, and for MUCH LESS than I'd' seen it anywhere else. The book was shipped promptly, and packed so unbelievably well, between multiple layers of stiff cardboard. And while the book was advertised as "lightly used", you could've fooled me: it looked brand spanking new. So well done all around.
As an American I've decided to support as many Canadian businesses as I can. This order is perfect in every way. The shipping was so quick!
The soaps are wonderful. I am having a hard time deciding who to gift them to and which ones to keep for myself. It looks like I will never be able to cross the border, at least for a while, but I'm glad that these soaps made it safely through customs. One grateful American here enjoying a great product!
Still don't. Making $#*! up so ii can fulfilll this stupid requirement, not because i care but because im being forced to for a purchase. Seriously? What is this blackmail? Not remotely acceptable to force a customer to do this, should be optional, i really just want to swear at you jack wagons. And a 100 word count minimum? You all really think something about yourselves
As usual, right on! Such perfect bookstore sites must be supported by all of us! A wide range of books for sensitive and conscious people and a god choice of older publications makes this my favorite site!
I would prefer that my principle default address would be saved and that the other addresses would be optionally displayed for me to choose from. Instead of the last address that i sent a present to be presented as the default!
