I would prefer that my principle default address would be saved and that the other addresses would be optionally displayed for me to choose from. Instead of the last address that i sent a present to be presented as the default!
I have ordered and received used CDs from Alibris many times. I have found that the condition of the discs, as described by the various suppliers, usually exceeds their conservative ratings; it is usually the "jewel cases" themselves or paper artwork & liner notes that show age/damage the most and are likely a main factor in the rating. Swapping out cracked and marred cases for new(er) ones eliminates noticeable wear. I will likely order from Alibris again, when necessary.
I tried to order my book from that Big Book Gorilla (you know who I mean) but they were unable to get it for me after I waited a long time and ended up refunding my account. Alibris came through first time with no problems, and the book was delivered quickly. Thank you so much!

I deeply regret ordering from this company. I ordered three items, and immediately noticed that one of the book sets was switched to a cheaper version. When I reached out, they initially refused to admit their mistake and sent the wrong set. After returning the incorrect items, I've been waiting over three and a half weeks for a refund with no response to my emails. The customer service is nonexistent, and their website gives misleading information. Avoid this company at all costs. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and dishonest.
I ordered a book and received the wrong one. After sending it back for a refund, I've been waiting for nearly a month with no response despite multiple reminders. I then ordered another book, and it still hasn't arrived. The customer service is practically non-existent, and they only give empty promises that lead to no resolution. I've never had such a frustrating experience with an online retailer. Avoid this site at all costs!
The links you included in the email informing me that my item is no longer available, didn't help me get to choosing another copy. I had to start over. Even then, two copies of the book, same place and price, are till listed. Still not sure the sale will vgo through. Something's not working right.

Always a risk with used sellers describing the item improperly. Item arrived in fair condition at best. Lots of writing and highlighting. A bit beat up. Still readable. Not a huge issue but descriptions should be reasonably accurate.
I wish it were easier to see where an item would ship from, or better yet, that we could filter options by closest geographical option, in order to better weigh the "cost" of shipping something not only money-wise, but ecologically.
Alibris had a good price for the book I bought, but the way it was packaged led to it being damaged by the time it got to me. The return process isn't as easy as Amazon's, so that's less-than-ideal. The customer service agents I wrote to don't seem to have current information either - what they described about refunds, return authorizations, coupons to compensate for return shipping, etc. didn't match up with my experience. Nevertheless, I got a refund and ordered a replacement book, so hopefully the next one gets here in better shape.
Ordering website is not particularly friendly. Once a selection is made and you're at check out, you have to jump through hoops to get back to order something less.
Don't find out 5$ off has to be on orders of 45$ until you sign in. That's a classic bait and switch tactic. 👎

I did not receive an email confirmation of order. Consequently I ordered 3 additional copies by mistake. There was never a way to cancel the orders because I didn't know they were confirmed. When I received I just trashed. I've used Alibris for years but don't plan to use again
I wish you had a way to browse by seller, ay e broken down by categories because some sells discount shipping for additional items. But overall I like your site very much - I trust you and feel good about buying from your site. I especially like the real rankings of sellers. I would pay more to. Up the same thing from a higher ranked seller, p.

Ordered March 8-received March 25. The book arrived in excellent condition. On the same order three other books, from other locations, all arrived within five days. Overall Alibris has been a great source of rare or out of print books
Currently replacing a prior order of DVD set which did not play. Pursuing refund for the first attempt. Coupon to help make up for shipping cost was appreciated. Should have avoided new seller without much track record - despite product billed as "new" and "in original packaging."
Confronted with a library book that was just going to be too large and difficult to read in the allotted time period. Same book (in excellent shape) available at a very discounted price. Seller was not next door but was in a reasonable distance from home hopefully facilitating delivery. And delivery was way quicker than expected. Alibris is my go-too book seller.
The vast library of available titles is a real asset when looking for specialized books that are generally unavailable for sale or even from libraries. Not a regular buyer but when I find a desired title, Alibris is my "go-to" resource

Easy ordering and processing my order
I ordered the book, received it in record time, and had it all read two days later. I'm writing a podcast, and the research for that podcast must be completed in a timely manner. I was very pleased with how quickly this process unfolded.
I wasn't getting a response from messages to seller after several days, so I contacted Alibris client services. They responded the next day with relevant information and I received my book later that day.
Answer: Let's just say, they advertise falsely. They misrepresent what they are selling. Buyer beware.
