I was nervous ordering such an expensive thing over the internet however everything went to plan and we saved considerable amount of money ordering the EZ-10 refurbished instead of new. Being in the upper half of Canada, ordering a new one from Tuttnauer was literally over $1,000 for shipping- basically a third of the cost of one from acme. I did have to call for help with the importing, however chat agent RICHARD was great and very helpful.
I accidentally ordered the wrong x-ray sensor for our dental clinic that runs on Dexis imaging software thinking it would sync up. I was able to initiate and get a return label all within the same day which they even paid for, despite it being our fault for not checking if the sensor would work prior to ordering.
I work in a lab that currently utilize the Midmark M9 Ritter Sterilizer. We wanted to add a second unit to the counter and so we purchased one from acme. Thinking they would match, the new one from acme arrived with a paint shade that was darker than our unit. It actually looks better than the original and its obviosu that it's really well done and brand new paint however we had to then paint match and paint the other one so that they looks the same. Not the end of the world however I wish someone at acme had advertised this so we could have at least prepared
We ordered a new film processor for our small, low-volume dental lab in mid-December. It finally arrived last week however with the holidays and they're so called "holiday volume delays" it wasn't delivered until three days after their commitment date. We had clinical two days without it when were expecting it and that set us back. It did however arrive looking great, and was easy for our lab tech to install.
Just wanted to say thank you to agent Amelia today for helping me schedule delivery today before we closed for the break! She was kind, professional, and a pleasure to speak with as she waited for fedex on the other line.
I ordered my first Littman Stethoscope from the site two weeks ago for shipping to my apartment in Toronto. They ship for free however the item got stuck in customs for some reason. I called the toll free number and the young man whom answered (I think it was Richard) called FedEx while I was on hold and had it all sorted out within 5 minutes. It arrived next day and I'm still convinced it's new and was never used in a prior life. Very happy my first importing experience was (mostly) pain free!
When (old faithful) our 2003 puff tonometer hit the fan our walk-in clinic was forced to make a quick decision. We were quoted new devices that we simply couldn't afford for a non-profit and so we shopped the used market. Expecting a dirty second hand or third hand unit we bought one from ACME. To our surprise the unit was sparkling clean and worked great.

They were exceptional through the entire process and they were able to find me a device that isn't even around anymore, at an affordable price point, which has really helped my clinic. I will definitely continue to buy refurbished instead of new.
