The app was a little difficult to navigate in the beginning, there was no instructions. Once I got the hang of it, though I was getting about five guys a week that I was interested in chatting with. I really liked the filter so you could see some good information before going out. Most guys, we chatted on the app and then exchanged phone numbers talked on the phone, and then met at a restaurant. Everybody I talk to that was a match for me was super nice, and I was surprised to find so many single men in my area. I ended up falling in love with someone who lives 2 1/2 hours away, but we are making it work And I am so in love.
If you're desperate, go for it.
If you have standards and self esteem, it'll wear on you after the first couple of days once you realize that most profiles are either fake or ancient. The "algorithm" only suggests men significantly older than I and farther than what would seem reasonable for dating, let alone trying to develop something serious. Lots of losers looking to just bed as many women as possible and most don't bother reading what I've written about myself and the kind of man I want in my life. Frequent occurrences... being called "baby" right outta the gate, giving their phone number almost immediately, saying "I'm different" or "I'm looking for my best friend" 100 times in the first contact. Weirdoes, desperate whiners and FAKE accounts galore! I only paid $44 for 3 months and I WON'T be renewing! Their customer service is pathetic! I asked a simple question about canceling my subscription now, t avoid auto renew and still having access for the time I purchased and the response was this ridiculously long, cut'n paste with advice on how to answer unwanted attention, when "yes" would've sufficed. What a waste of money!
Not a good experience as the woman I am dating realized that she was still being charged and went into her account to close it and said she saw me still on the account like online?!?! I have not been on since I met her back in December when I cancelled my account completely but here we are in March and she stated that she saw my account as active, though I had no pics and I had not been in this account since... Not a good feeling at all, this is disrespectful, and I feel horrible about this. It is not a good feeling to be looked at sideways by someone you are truly in love with and serious about. I hope that your staff can look into this and rectify the situation before someone loses their relationship to some stupidity or some glitch you guys have on the website. Please have my account completely purged with any information I did not already erase from this site. Thank you for your time!
Just like the title says. For some unfathomable reason I couldn't login. I finally was able to email CS but am hitting the brick wall. Unable to login. The Zoosk's standard reply to my email is that Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus, there may be delays in attending to customer requests.
C'mon now, it's the 2023 and not 2019. FYI - Zoosk can be emailed at support at zoosk (dot) zendesk (dot) com but don't expect results any time soon. By comparison, another dating site was able to resolve a similar situation by an instant chat. I am glad that I didn't pay a penny to Zoosk. And am not going to.
I do not recommend anyone to use Zoosk, unless you're willing to part with your money and to put up with an unresponsive so-called Customer Service. It's your choice
The "variety" of women to choose from includes: scammers (both genders), catfishers, golddiggers and very few genuine women from the real world. It's not worth putting in the efforts and time. The women are not beautiful, and even worse, they are not real and they often use other people's photos to attract you.
I have unsubscribed from their emails 3 times but I still keep getting them. Tried to deactivate my account but it said cancel first. I can't cancel because my status says delinquent! I am not paying for a service I am not happy with! They want to automatically charge my card and I won't let them! I am done with online dating sites and this one is being very difficult to get rid of! They only got a 1 star because I can't give them a no star rating!
This site has many many people listed on it that have cancelled their membership. Some are friends of mine! Now me! The site will send you notifications of "people who want to meet you" and after you contact them, you find they made no such indication, other than looking at their image! If you use the "search" option, it will process any view as someone you interested in even if you have no such desire. If you don't keep your original photos for your profile up, the site blocks you from using the app. The site in all ways possible lacks any integrity what so ever! I dropped my membership after 2 weeks due to the lies and abuse by the site!
I would add photos of my purchase and my experience, but the site deleted ALL info as soon as it saw I might be deleting my account. There are some real people on the site, although most do NOT FALL WITHIN your chosen preferences.
Tried this app so far for a week, it has a lot of bugs, not very stable, but the worst is the customer service, and response, they manipulate the app from within. You pay for a subscription, and if someone likes you you have to pay again to see who it is, now I realize why most customers are not subscirlbers. Most people are from out of the area….tried to get a refund so I can remove myself. Don't waist your money, use it for free is the only option now
Although you can get a date, there are far superior apps out there. This one is filled with ghost profiles (abandoned) and the app does nothing to help you know that (you'll waste money on the useless coins finding out). One thing that should be known going in if you intend to date, know that you can only chat if you have a paid subscription. The so called carousel/smartpick is useless as the algorithm ignores geographic considerations, meaning you get matched with whoever is in the pool regardless of where they live. Free version of FB dating is better than this!
Utter drivel! Don't waste your time on Zoosk! They may have some real profiles, but I haven't met any of them. I met dozens of scammers. There is no profile verification or background check.
They have a lot of fake accounts.
They still $99 from my bank.
I requested refund before 24 hours I signed up and they refuse.
It is designed to still people cash.
So I arranged a date with a lady cuddly blonde on this site and when I wouldn't sleep with her she attacked me and smashed my car when I explained this to zoosk they said it didn't break with their terms and conditions and wouldn't be taking action to protect other users of the site
Very Expensive and it's an auto renewing subscription so bingo. On the due date they deduct your money. These auto renew subscriptions are actually not an acceptable business practice - and the subscription should end at midight on the date of such. Zoosk renew it at 12.01 AM!
The process to cancel it is difficult.
They do not provide an email address on theri site
All they want is your money!
Well, if there's 0 star I would give, this is a scam, I have to Pay to be able to see guys text me, total scam. Be Ware people, it's so fake... Don't waste your money...
Spent a year on this site and was not able to connect with a single person, even people who sent messages to me. Many photographs and participants were fake. Don't waste your money!
Never pay for any dating sites why would anyone pay for something that makes no Guarantee of anything your better off taking your money to the casino fake profiles people super far away and nobody ever responds complete crap
That's right go ahead and give it a try. Just don't spend any money whatsoever on the site.
That's right go ahead and give the free trial a test. Just don't take my word for it.
Get on the site and play it like it was a video game that you had to win or literally die.
Put the pedal to the floor like you were in a racecar. A few laps around the track in the 1st thing you notice is some lug nuts coming off. Start to feel a little concerned that's when the engine light goes through the roof. Pretty quick just like me you'll be scrambling to find the parachute ejection button. Google up how to properly delete your Zoosk account!
Wisely luckily I only had the free trial so I have no proof of purchase sorry.
But I do have a very funny screenshot to share considering I am in Toledo Ohio 2000 miles away.
" This must be the greatest site ever I've only been on it one day and I have 20 women that want to go skydiving over a Volcano"
Having glanced through some of the negative reviews, I can only echo their complaints. You get the feeling most accounts on here are fake. But what is maddening is that I know Zoosk could do something about it and they don't. They won't let you search by verified accounts. They do nothing for IP location tracking. After you've looked at enough profile pictures, you realize most of them are fake and claim they live in these remote places no one knows about. I wish I felt like these reviews would force their hand.
I signed up on Thanksgiving Day with this dating site as they advertise for seniors but I was so disappointed by this site just trying to upload my pictures taken this year as I'm honest not post old pictures as many men do, selfies which they are clear not blurry and no nudity but dressed up to my neck and long sleeves but they kept rejecting those pictures also not much of choices for me finding a man there. 80s too old for me. As for pictures, I felt like I'm in Iran or one of those countries very strict and unreasonable. I had in this spring the same pictures on even bigger names of dating sites, and they never made any comments or rejected them. After a few days I had enough of stress from Zoosk and called them to cancel the subscription and since they were very unreasonable to me, I asked for my full refund. A man I talked to he said ''we can't do that" really?! No other dating site said that but refunded if I wasn't happy with their site and after telling him that is not right he said ''we'll charge you for a month which was more than a month the amount he told me and I told him is not right then he said ''we'll make an exception'' and asked him to send me an email to confirm that but he sent me email just confirming the cancellation nothing there about the refund. I called next day and asked this lady talked to the same thing and she said she'll emailed me conforming about the refund but NOTHING no email at all. Wow! What kind of service is this? No honesty and you can't trust this dating site.
Finally, I called my credit card and started a dispute. Is just an awful dating site, they want money no matter what. No concern for customer satisfaction. Also, the men on their site have no location where are they live, very strange.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
