Zoosk has a rating of 2.3 stars from 3,541 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Zoosk most frequently mention fake profiles, customer service and credit card. Zoosk ranks 35th among Dating sites.
You have to be patient and take your time! I was a little skeptical at first but the App warmed on my after awhile. Then I met someone who gets me and they we're on the same page as far as dating for a purpose! You have to give it time. Your ideal person my just be around the corner!
Was recently scammed on Zoosk by a very sophisticated operation. When I tried to contact Zoosk customer service their number was always off-line! When I emailed a detailed report on what happened to me my email came back undelivered. This site is as big a scam as the scammers that prey on its members. Would stay away from this site! Untrustworthy and no customer service help or follow up! A 0 out of 10 rating!
I left it and joined I found it on J4Dream.com because I was searching for relationship where a man can stay a man and a woman can stay a woman. There is one flaw - you have to travel. But trust me, it's worth it. Rather than putting my energy and life into useless attempts to build relationship with women who think the world of themselves and look down on men, I'd better travel to meet with a True Lady. Rather than being a subject of whims of some crazy overweight feminist, I'd better just be happy with a simple, kind-hearted and family-oriented woman. So my recommendation to everyone who can relate to this situation: try this option. Stop wasting your money, time and emotions on Zoosk!
Most of the views and likes on Zoosk are produced by bots just to entice you into getting a paid membership. Out of 45 profiles I interacted with only 3 women were real. But they were arrogant and selfish drama queens.
I met a man on site who supports me and allows me to grow as a person. He listens and thoughtfully answers my questions.
With nary an explanation beyond the vague accusattion that I violated their terms of service, my newly created account on the site was banned, and there was absolutely no recourse for recovery.
As far as I can tell, the website is either discriminating against me for an unknown reason, or there was an administrative error that they are unwilling to own up to.
The amount of fake profiles and fake photos are ridiculous. The site puts people in your views to make you think they are looking at you when they are not. They send you messages saying you have messages, to get you to renew, when you don't. They have what they say are live singles ready to chat at the top of the search page, but the women look like hookers. Don't waste your money!
JUST FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THESE CROOKED SCUMBAGS, DISAPPEARING MESSAGES FAKE PROFILES TERRIBLE DATING SITE
I had no idea about this one. Not gonna lie, I have tried lots of dating services and apps online, cuz it's hard for me to get acquainted with people on the streets or at venues without an already established connection like a common friend or something of the sorts. And still, I was never lucky to find someone to spend some quality time with, let alone a perfect match like a soul mate. I ran into this app and I thought I'd give it a shot, what's there to lose?
Can't say that it is way better than other apps, but it's not way worse either. The app works allright. I was able to go on a few dates with some lovely people on this app, but yeah, the spark was not there. Don't have any complaints about the app tho, deserves 3 stars easily.
This is a paid dating site. I thought will be good idea to look for love. Unfortunately, whole bunch of scammers and messages did not go through a lot of times. It's just waste of time and money.
On Consumer Affairs, Zoosk has a user rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars based on more than 7503 ratings. However, recent reviews include many one-stars and the complaints center around failed refunds, poor customer service and disappearing messages. READ THIS AND TAKE WARNING!
I have been dealing with the issue of this company of taking money out of my account without my permission. They have made it virtually impossible to reach them by phone as their customer service line is "down" due to repairs...haha.it has been over a week and it is "still down". I tried unsubscribing from the site but it refuses to allow me to do so. It asks all these questions and at the end, it will not "unsubscribe" you.,,therefore allowing them to take out the money out for a renewal. I now have to have my credit card cancelled and a new one ordered. This means contacting all the people with whom I have done business with to allow me to resubmit my billing information and you know what that means.TIME, EFFORT, FRUSTRATION and ANGER all because ZOOSK uses shady and sketchy techniques to make it virtually impossible to unsubscribe. I do not want others to fall into this hell hole that I have been through. BEWARE of ZOOSK'S PAYMENT METHODS!
After careful consideration, I have decided to discontinue my membership with the Zoosk dating site. As an individual who embraces an alternative lifestyle, I have found that this platform does not cater to my specific needs. Additionally, the cost of membership is exorbitant and does not align with the value I receive from the service. Furthermore, I have noticed a lack of diversity in the user base, resulting in a repetitive experience with limited options. Therefore, I have made the decision to explore other dating platforms that better align with my lifestyle and preferences.
I tried to use the subscription, so far I cannot understand how and in what order this service works. I hope that these are the first misunderstandings I have encountered. I expect that the result is ahead. Therefore, I maintain a neutral position.
What happens is when you cancel your subscription they keep your listing up to make people think they have 4 times more profiles than they actually due, and they don't let people who cancel know this so not only does this do a disservice for the person canceling but also active members try to contact dead listings that should be removed, they don't even let folks know this is happening, very sleasy.
I took a chance on Zoosk and to my delight met my perfect match. On my way to a great adventure as a couple
I'm 71 years old & have been on Zoosk almost a year. Recently changed my email address. I sent my new address to Zoosk and they tried to send a Verification of Email without success. (From what I saw online, the capitals in the email address were in lower case). Sent another email address-- same thing happened. Called from the phone number they have on file and spoke with Zoosk representatives personally -- not good enough. Was told I'd have to provide yet another email for Verification but in the meantime I'd have a week to get this in. The next day I was called about the email Verification and told them that unless certain letters were capitalized, the address would not work; I was assured the address was properly typed in by them but whatever Verification they wanted from me still did not appear in my mail. At that point I was frozen out. I could not send any mail and when I went into 'Carousel' function I could not get out. A pop up kept appearing telling me to provide a new email and then the photo below would appear. They taunted me numerous times with this photo.
Now, older people have enough trouble with high blood pressure and mine was raised considerably. They have my phone number on file and most companies (including Paypal!) phone with a code so you can provide Verification. I was being punished because my email provider apparently wasn't letting their Verification email go through.
Periodically messages sent to other members have not been received and a few times there have been other taunting incidences on Carousel. Can't help but think they're having a good time at my expense. Match and Our Time really didn't work out for me and can't say Zoosk has been much better. At this point I probably won't renew; the idea of making friends to do activities appeals but it's difficult to continue when such disrespect is directed.
I am Caucasian, college graduate. The photo of the man Zoosk kept sending to me and I tried unsuccessfully to upload, is of an older, disheveled African American who is looking bug eyed into the camera with a caption: "He likes you!".
I live in a populated area. One could think there should be a reasonable number of singles. None within 100 miles are real Zoosk accounts! This platform claims to have millions of members, but 95% must be fake, or inactive accounts. Computer-generated "likes" and "views" to keep the paying customers interested are abundant. I met one real person within a year of subscription, the rest of the contacts were bogus. I have ten more days of subscription and I started being flooded with attention from fake accounts used by Zoosk employees to persuade me to keep my subscription. I wouldn't waste any time or cents on Zoosk if I knew what I know now.
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
