Great service
December 18, 2021

I ordered a couple of thru bolts for an electric motor. I didn't have high expectations of getting them anytime soon however Wild West pool had what I needed and got them to me within 3 days and best thing they were accountable and kept me informed about the shipping status. I would definitely use these people again.

I had to buy a caretaker valve and Wild West offered in their web page the exact same model I had. But once I paid and bought the part they sent an email saying that they did not have that part anymore but offered another one that supposedly would fit perfectly. I accepted after asking that they were sure that the part will fit. It took more than a week to receive the part and of course, it did not fit. I asked them to give me support to look for a solution, maybe connecting parts that will allow the part to fit with my pipe arrangement. They said they could not give any support. I asked for a refund, they asked me to return the part, which I did. But after more than a month without any answers from Wild West, they sent me an email 2 days ago saying that they will not refund the money because the part had some scratches. I NEVER USED THE PART BECAUSE IT DID NOT FIT MY PIPE ARRANGEMENT. In conclusion, they offered what they did not have, offered something different that was not like the one I bought, did not give any technical support and it was not complicated since some connections parts would make it fit, and now they are making up that the part have some scratches that maybe had from the beginning, since I never used the caretaker.

I ordered a bulb for my pool. The customer service representative told me that the bulb that I ordered was discontinued so she recommended a replacement and assured me that it was the correct one. I had provided the part number from my pool specs so there should be no question when ordering the bulb. Thirteen days later I received a bulb that would not work. It wasn't even the correct voltage! Customer Service demanded that I pay shipping to return the bulb that they sent me so they could determine if I could receive a refund. Needless to say, I will shop elsewhere. I hated to even give them a one on the scale of one to five, but had no choice.

Twice I have tried to order spa parts, but I have questions that could be handled simply if they had a phone number. All they want you to do is email back and forth and nothing gets accomplished. Your questions never get answered. This is horrible customer service. My questions cannot be answered over email because of the parts I am looking for. It's amazing how many different people sent emails to me repeating the same question back that I asked them. None of these people have a phone? Sorry, we are in the 22nd century. Get a phone or lose business and get plenty more reviews like this.

I should give one star or no star for my experience, but because they correct their deceptive practice I give two stars. They did this to me twice. They post the note on the Waterway filter that it's in stock and ready to ship just to send me next day the email it ran out of stock and it will be available in 3-5 weeks. After I responded to cancel my order they refunded my PayPal payment. They take the payment right away even if they know they won't be able to fulfill the order. I don't understand this practice, but have to appreciate they make no problem with the refund and it's done promptly. That's why two stars.

They claim part was in stock and ready to ship. One week later, I inquire why I had not seen a shipping notification. I was told that they had forwarded the request to their supplier! So it was not in fact in stock. Then, I requested when I might receive my item, and got an email about mail and shipping company delays. That is only possible once you ship the part, which they still have not done. Horrible customer service. Lies about parts being in stock and ready to ship, then nothing but excuses that do nothing pertain to why the item has not shipped.

This business is run out of a condo in Tempe, Arizona with no way to contact regarding shipping, confirmation, or even if products are in stock. Everything screams SCAM. I will be canceling my credit card for this transaction and purchase my item through a reputable dealer. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Confirmed order
February 27, 2021

Ordered a pool pump basket flange and the charged my cc and confirmed my order. My equipment froze and i needed this part. My pool repair guy said he had one but i told him that i had one on the way so he could let someone else have that one. Well Wild West Pool Supplies the next day cancelled my order so now my pool is down with no parts in sight. You really screwed me over and i am not happy.

Supplier confirmed my order and then after 2 days cancelled it. Provide no good reason why for the cancellation. Don't believe that it is "in stock" until it ships and in the hands of UPS or FedEx. Unreliable.

Ordered some parts for our hot tub. Online said in stock and ready to ship. Received an email 2 dsys later saying it was back ordered and would be available in 5 weeks. While most online companies can keep up with their availability of inventory they said they had almost 2000 items and would not. They had already charged my credit card for the full amount and said it was their policy to charge when ordered not when shipped. Cancelled the order and finally had to dispute the charge with the cc company to get my money back. Not a respectable way to do business. Still says in stock and ready to ship on their website.

Ordered a heating element. They didn't tell me they would be shipping USPS at checkout. It has been over a week and half and still now sign of the part and no idea when it will arrive. I've tried to contact anybody from the company to no avail. There is no phone number, their "chat" is just a bot, and they don't reply to email. I'm very unable with their service, communication and with my experience overall.

Their website is very deceptive. No phone number for customer support.
I ordered a part claimed as "In Stock and Ready to Ship!" and the part would ship that day according to the site.
After 2 days without any kind of shipping or tracking information from the seller, I contacted them via email.
No response, but later that day I got a refund.
No explanation whatsoever.
Based on my experience, I'm highly skeptical of the positive reviews for this company.
My advice? Go somewhere else.
