I have never had an issue with Venus and their service. The clothes are good quality and the shipping is fast.
This was my first purchase went online, loved the items, ordered three things: a pair of pants, a lingerie romper, and a shirt. The shirt was great, though I'm a bit iffy on the shoulder openings.
The pants came out of the bag with a back seam coming apart. I did not even try them on, as I would never pay to have them fixed.
I tried the lingerie romper on, which was too big for me, even though it was the smallest size they had, and as I was carefully pulling the strap over my shoulder it came apart. And there was not much tension put on the strap at all which was very stretchy. This speaks to the quality of the items.
Buyer beware. If two out of three of my items were defective right out of the bag, that does not say much for this brand.
Also, I'm a buyer in Canada, and I had to pay duty on my shipment. The shipment arrived and the "sender" address was in Ontario. Why am I paying duty for items shipped in the same country?!
Another thing, the receipt said there is a return label in the bag. No, I couldn't find a return label.
Needless to say, that is the one and only time I'll be purchasing from Venus.

So I had an original credit line of $1100. Always paid on time and double my minimum payment. Venus decided to decrease my credit limit because of " credit bureau" reporting? Did it twice. So I only had balance of $450 out of $1100 and it was reported to bureaus that my new limit was $650 the first time and $450 the second time making it appear that I pretty much was at my limits! Crooked! And I had to call about it to be told it is credit bureau fault but we will do you a Favor and increase limit back up to $650. Gee thanks! It should be $1100 what the original limit was! Is that NOT affecting my score? Oh I think it is! Don't so business with venus!

Beware of improper refund amounts after you return an item. If you have a discount of 10 percent on your entire order and then return one item, they will take the 10 percent from your total order and deduct from your one item returned. Sound confusing? It is! And ridiculously improper. In this day and age of making things easy for the customer, VENUS DOES NOT! After over an hour on the phone with them still not satisfied. I will never order from them again. Also $6.95 to return something. Shop most other places and the returns are free.

So I ordered a swimsuit from here last year and I loved the top not so much the bottom but no biggie. My boyfriend bought me a coat from here for my bday and I loved but it only lasted a year until it started fraying, still wearable just need to constantly burn strands lol. However, I always liked their clothes I've seen in their catalogs so I decided to do a bigger order this time and spent around $300. I liked every item so I am surprised there are so many people that don't it's making me wonder if I just got lucky and should I order again? My only issue is the shoes are too small and I don't know if I should return it because I don't think I should have to pay so many fees and i don't want to risk running into this issue again and being stuck with it. I also ordered a top that I didn't know was on backorder until after checking out... by the time I get the shirt it will be too warm out. Still skeptical about the company.

They always have an excuse and always is we're really back up at the warehouse, this is the second time I have a problem with the delivery of my item.

I ordered a jumpsuit- didn't fit and was poor quality material, the cost $36.99.
They send a return label within package and after returning it, I was charge 6.95 for the label & 4.95 for shipping adjustment. So instead of getting refunded for the amount paid I was refunded 25.09. I'm charged 11.90 for an item that doesn't fit.
NEVER WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE AGAIN - RIP OFF!

I have ordered from Venus.com for several years. Most of what I order gets returned due to poor quality of material, wrong sizing or they look nothing like what was advertised.
You literally have a 50/50 chance of not liking or not fitting into what you order.
The fees for returns are expensive also-no paid return label.
My recent order of 3 items was horrible - nothing fit right and the clothes didn't look as advertised.
My closet is also filled with things that I didn't return in time so I'm stuck with them and they're brand new clothing!
I'll no longer order from this company.

I ordered a very nice top for a trip to Europe. When it arrived It had a smell to it, but I would have washed it anyway. I hand washed it in cold water and hung to dry. It shrunk like 2 sizes.
When I called them they said they would replace it, but they would not replace with a larger size, so that if it shrunk there would not be a problem. So basically I ate 39.00 and shipping. Last time I order from them.
Doesn't make any sense to me.

I ordered a pair of shoes and was given an estimated day of arrival for delivery. That day cane and went without so much as an email from Venus so I called them and they told me it was on backorder and that the shoes would ship out the following Monday. When I didn't get the shoes or an email I called back and another rep told me it would ship out the following week. This happened again two more times! Mind you, if you look at the shoes on their website it states they're available for purchase. I finally told them to cancel my order. I won't ever order from these people again. Shady business.

I ordered a pair of pants from this place for the first time. I doubt this place caters to plus-size women at all. I knew I shouldn't have tried a store that sells plus-size AND skinny people clothes. These types of places never make clothes that truly fit the plus-size woman. I bought pants that were my size and came out to at least a size or two smaller! I couldn't even pull them up. I held them up to my own pants that are the same size and these were way smaller in comparison. The stores I usually shop at are plus-size women stores. Venus claims to sell plus-size women clothes but what they considered plus-size doesn't work for me. Clothes run way too small. I also read reviews saying the same thing. I will stick to true plus-size stores, thanks very much.

Have been ordering for years from Venus for years most of them are nice, the worst is the company they use for shipping LANDMARK they are thieves they said they drop your stuff off and did not I was in my front yard all day gardening and no one came.

I have been purchasing from Venus for many years. I am usually happy with their clothing, but sometimes the quality is less than desirable. My most recent experience was with a pair of jeans that were not sized correctly (2 sizes off according to most customers). I returned them because I didn't like them and was told that they were a final sale item and I would not be getting a refund OR a credit to purchase something else in the future. Seriously? I have never heard of a company doing business like this ever in my entire 63 years! I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau!

The quality of every single product I ordered was well below expectations and not worth the price.
Return labels provided are not free and cost you more than if you mail products back to them. Horrible costumer service. Hard to believe this is a viable company.

After I ordered an outfit from VENUS from the first time, I read these negative reviews afterwards and thought of canceling. I have to be honest... nothing to worry about! I ordered, the item was listed in stock, it arrived today as scheduled, it fits beautifully and looks great! I will be ordering again from VENUS!

I ordered two bathing suit tops and three bottoms. When I placed my order there was no indication that the items were back ordered. I paid for two-day shipping. When I didn't receive my suits in two days, I looked for an email -- I had received nothing. Then I signed onto Venus and the status of two tops and two bottoms was "back ordered" with no dates. Two days after that I received one bottom -- not much help without a top!
I waited and rechecked. Still nothing. A month later I tried the online chat. I was told they were back ordered until October 5. I followed up with additional questions about refunding my two day shipping change, when I could expect delivery and if I'd get all my pieces at the same time. The online chat person had disappeared. I waited over 30 minutes (the chat is still open).
I tried another chat. She disappeared immediately when I told her I had tried chat earlier. The I called. The customer account rep hung up on me when I told her I had tried the chat function.
Called again. This time talked to a man. He finally answered my question -- back ordered until December! What? It's still available for sale on the website with no warning about the back order.
Will never order from Venus again!

I had a credit from an order where they shipped literally all wrong elements in my order. I was given a e-cert, instead of crediting it back to my credit card. I called to see if it could be issued back to my credit card, but it never happened. I used the credit on another order for 3 items, of which I returned two. According to their "new" return policy. The adjusted price I pay after they allocate out the credit is the only amount that I get back. I paid a total of $77 for the new order ($58 credit, and $19 on credit card). I ended up keeping ~ $28 top and returned two items. So the amount I receive back after being charged shipping adjustment fee is $6. So I just paid $71 ($58 + $19-$6) for one bikini top.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
