I called on Feb 11th to understand what was this fees, not them, Canadian duty, taxe is 13% not 55%, ask to talk to a supervisor, their system was down so they say, supervisor would call me back, nodoby called me back, I also sent an email via their web site, nobody replied. I called back Feb 14th and again this is not their responsibility. So I wont accept this package and return it, delay to be refund on my credit card min. 21 days, let see! VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND THEY SAY EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES AND YOUR SATISFACTION IS IMPORTANT FOR US. Bad business! Never again will order from them! I DO NOT RECOMMAND, AND I SHOULD HAVE DONE MY REASEARCH AND FIND THOSE REVIEW BEFORE!

I'm just going to say this. I have spent hundreds probably even thousands in orders from Venus.com however this last order I made all the sizing was off. I ended up returning everything. Normally it's not a big deal but they ended up CHARGING me extra when I sent in my return. It should of only be $6 for the return label but they kept $18 of MY money. I tried to email several times and get ZERO replies. I then post on one of their Facebook post and I get an instant reaction because everyone on Facebook can see my displeasure. They tell me to send them a private message. I did. I AGAIN get ignored. This cycle has gone on and on for weeks now. I'm exhausted trying to get my money back. VENUS.COM can keep my $18 if they need it that bad. What they have done w/ their horrid customer service is lost out on hundreds of future orders from me. I am glad I realized what a shady company this is. DO NOT buy from them. They are horrible, will ignore you, and also charge you money if you try to return your entire order back. You'll be ignored and become exhausted trying to contact them. Thanks VENUS.COM for showing me NOW instead of LATER what a bunch of con's you are. RUN don't walk, away from this website.

First of all, why am i unable to find the spot to write a review directly on their site? Not to mention all the reviews on the items seem to be positive?. RED FLAG... I ordered a couple items and i noticed some of the colours advertised are not the same in person. ALSO this romper that had amazing reviews was on of the items i purchased, and yes in the description it stated that the "print may vary", presuming that obviously they would be the same style of prints, just laid-out differently. NOPE this one looked beautiful in the advertised photo, and the one i received is not only different patterns, but it looks like its from china where they attempted to use the same prints and colours? What the heck? ALSO it looks super pink, but not a nice pink. It looks like you accidentally washed it in hot water and the red colours bled creating an ugly pink colour. Upon reading reviews of other people from this site i've noticed a few stating they're are being charged for shipping to return their items and i'm from Canada so i can only imagine how much i would be charged... Also for my purchased bathing suits I ordered the size that went with my measurements from the site and its a tad too small... I am normally a small/medium in clothes and i ordered a couple of bathing suit bottoms in an 8 just to be sure that they would definitely fit and they are still too small... Clearly China is making these clothes, because it certainly cant be made in the U.S. Also they smell weird, which given me another indication that they have to be coming from china...

I ordered a dress for winter ball on the 3 of February it is now the 9th and I still don't have my dress. The tracking is all messed up I don't even know if the map shows the actual location of my dress or not. I need it for saturday and I have never shopped off the website before so if the size is wrong I am screwed. I am very dissatisfied and have no good things to say about the company and the wait for their products.

This upsets me. Reading into their FAQs, it states that orders placed with 1-day or two-day shipping by 5pm EST will ship the same day. According to their customer service, they are sorry for the inconvenience but that all orders ship on next business day. So of course the information on their website is wrong. Also, I should be able to change my order but I cannot. It has not shipped yet, but since the label printed (according to customer service) no changes can be made. I understand that might be the case but they explicitly lied on their website. I placed my order around 12pm EST on A Friday, needing it for the following Wednesday. I chose 2 day air shipping. Had they been honest on their website, I would have chosen Next day air (difference was less than $10) and it would definitely be here on time. Now I am told it will be here on Wednesday because it will ship Monday. I need it for Wednesday and if it comes by lunch I might be okay but usually mail doesn't come that early here and usually UPS or other express delivery comes in the evening.

I actually love Venus. I've been shopping here for many years and I'm almost always satisfied. As for exchanging an item, all you have to do is let them know that you will be exchanging the item, give them the order number you're exchanging and they will charge you for the new item minus the shipping. Once your return item reaches them, they will issue a refund. You will have to pay to return the item either own your own or with the return label provided but you will not have to pay shipping for the exchanged item. You can even add more items to your exchange transaction and no shipping fee will be added for those items. They will also honour any coupons you used in the original order and apply it to the exchanged item. Venus is my go to for fabulous dresses, jumpsuits, jeans, sweaters, (tops and swimsuits (occasionally), and coats. Venus always comes thru when I need a vacation wardrobe and every year, my suitcase has nearly all selections from Venus. However, I do not shop there for shoes. I prefer genuine leather when purchasing footwear.

As a first time shopper with Venus, I wasn't familiar with the sizes. I ordered a top in my usual size but it was too small. I loved the top but had to return and reorder. Unfortunately, I was hit with a $6.95 shipping charge! This will prevent me from ordering from them again. I would have rated lower but the top was beautiful and good quality.

If you return you will notice a double charge for the return fee. So in reality you are paying triple. You pay shipping when they mail it. Then they deduct shipping for the return (that's understandable) but they also deduct the original shipping which you already paid. Please look at your return amount carefully. This is robbery! If you call and question it they tell you they will refund 1 shipping charge (which they had no right deducting in the first place!) Imagine how much additional money they are taking in if you don't question it? They should be reported and fined for this deceptive and unlawful practice.

I returned two tops because of size. After spending $23.78 for duties and $25 shipping. They have refunded me partially because they representative said that they don't cover shipping! Originally when I spoke with another representative before I return the tops they said they do cover up to $10 shipping which was not true. I am frustrated because I believe its unfair to spend over $60 which is more than what the tops worth to return them!

I purchased the outfit below and it was totally awful. I usually wear an 8 in Venus clothes but I should have gone a size bigger. Material was cheap. I also noticed lately the quality is not as good as before.

I used to love Venus clothing but no longer. I ordered 3 tops and 2 of them were ripped in the back. I returned all 3 because I didn't like the quality of the tops. Very poor quality and very disappointed. I mailed them back on 1/15 and I just called and they said that they didn't receive them yet. They better receive them soon and I better get the WHOLE refund back being $ 102.99. I will never buy from Venus again. Make clothing in the USA not China - super cheap and very disappointed - like I said i used to love Venus clothing. Unless they go back to being quality clothing and not from China I will never buy from Venus again.

My first experience purchasing from Venus was very disappointing. All the ordered items were poor quality. The fabrics are thin and don't look anything like on models as they are in their magazines. I was charged $6.95 for return shipping and also was charged a promotional discount for my return being below $75. Basically they got their money back for sending it in the first place. Upset and will NEVER order from them again. All poor reviews are on point here; I really regret not checking these before my first and last order!

Venus merchandise is of poor quality. I expected the fabrics to be a little nicer but all of the items I ordered felt cheap. The fit was off on everything - even between the same items in different colors. My shape is very normal so it's not me, it's them. Weird. AND... when you return items they also deduct for the original shipping if you got a promotional shipping deal. They stated that my order now "fell below the threshold" to receive promotional shipping. Ya it did! It went to $0.00! So they charged me $4.95 for my $0.00 worth of merchandise! Scammers.

Quality was never their strong suit. Everything was made in China so sizes were a toss of a coin. I recently made a $300+ order with Venus, it came promptly, but when I opened each item I was more and more disappointed. Stitching is awful, fabric thin and practically see-though, the use of photoshop in their sample photos must be outrageous because when it comes you'd swear it's not the same thing! The boots... oh the boots. For $70 you'd think these would be the cherry. These EXACT boots can be found on Amazon for $19.95 (free shipping) along with a few other items I ordered. Cheap laces, no eyelets for the laces, soles glued in sloppy. I'd rather go to DSW. At least at DSW the quality is amazing. Everything Venus sells comes from China. It says so on their tags! I loved the creative styles of their clothing. How you wouldn't find these things in store, the quality was alright, and they were less expensive. But with the lack of quality vs. the price they want for these things... it's not worth it. I'm returning the box for refund.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
