I ordered with them a couple times. And pay additional shipping to receive early. 1) your lucky if you actually get anything. 2) chances are if you were lucky enough to get your package odds are you did not get the WHOLE package. This has happened numerous times. Now I'm vowing never to shop with them again. They won't notify you of the back order. You're waiting to get your order, packing your things or getting ready for an event and your delivery is short. You don't know when it will arrive. Other than prices that appear to be decent, don't be fooled!, Their clothes are cheap and they look nothing like the pictures. Don't waste your time or money.
I PLACED AN ORDER AND RECEIVED IT BUT SENT BACK A PAIR OF JEANS FOR A REFUND ON 3/14 AND REQUESTED AN EXCHANGE OF ANOTHER TOP. I SENT AN EMAIL TO VENUS USING A MESSAGE THEY SENT TO ME PREVIOUSLY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD NOT GOTTEN ANY RETURNS. NOW, EVERY EMAIL I SEND TO THEM IS BEING RETURNED TO ME! I AM SO ANGRY. They only let "select customers" review purchased items. Also just because you order something doesn't mean that what it will look like. I ordered a swimsuit with a dragon and did not get that. It fit fine, but part of the order was back ordered, and was a pain to return.

I placed an order for five dresses according to their size chart. Two of the dresses fit several sizes larger than the size they state they are. Two are cut so badly the neck line is off center on one and the other fits a 2 on the bottom and a 6 on top instead of form fitting as the photo suggests on the site. I live in Canada so custom fees cost me $60. Returning items is out of the question as they only contribute up to $10 on return postage. I did receive my order in 10 days and am happy with 1 of the dresses. $260 later and I'm not at all impressed.

I ordered a few items on Feb 17th for an upcoming vacation. Still have not received the items... I have since then gone and come back from my vacation - had called customer service to inquire about the status of my order and they said that apparently because I didn't opt to pay my customs and duties through Landmark the items will take and additional 21 business days! Ridiculous... I had ordered bathing suits from two other vendors from China and they both arrived in less time than this crappy website... DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM if you need your items on a somewhat reasonable timelines.

Let me begin by saying that I placed an order for 3 dresses before Valentines Day. Because I have ordered from them before, I was expecting it within about 2 weeks. After that period of time and still having not received it, I did an online chat with a rep who told me that my order was processed on the 22nd and will still take about 21 days to get it. WHAT?
Today is the 14th of March and I received an email from Venus stating that my order that I apparently sent back is going to be refunded! WHAT?
I did NOT return it because I never GOT it!
I called and spoke to a supervisor who said that they were sorry and could send it out again!
Nothing more than just "sorry", oopsy our bad! Our company doesn't care about our customers, that's their problem! We just want to sell!
What ever happened to, " how can we make this right"
Not happy as I was going to wear one of these dresses for an event!
Buyer beware of this company. If you so chose to purchase, give yourself a few months to receive, or not receive it and if there are problems, don't expect to get any help!
Best advice is to buy from someone that cares about their customers and tries to fix their mistakes instead of making excuses that don't make sense!

I ordered 4 clothes and 3 of them were big so I had to return them back. As per the return instruction, I put the original invoice in the package including the invoice and return label on the package and sent them back. 2 days after I received the package back with a sticker on that saying" had no invoice".
I called customer service and asked for a new invoice and label as it's not provided in the new package they sent me back (package had opened and changed) and they told me that they will not send label to Canada which means I have to pay again for the return. That is not fair and reasonable at all.

I recently bought a pantsuits for my wedding and it was absolutely stunning. It came in a few days of ordering (I did not exposure shipping) and the quality of the outfit was amazing. I had such a good experience that I ended up ordering the same outfit in a different color based on my husbands insistance, as he could see how amazing it was.

I loved almost all the pieces I bought. A few I didn't like in but that is what you get from ordering on online. I would have I orally given a 4-5 star review, but within the past 6 months 3 items have fallen apart! I sweaters whole side just opened, 2 different tops the straps just came off. They are not well made and didn't not hold up over time.

I've ordered from Venus a few times over the past 10yrs.
I love the bathing suits but the clothes drastically vary in sizing consistency and quality.
Two orders ago I was missing a cardigan. I use the chat feature to see if I could get things resolved - person over chat was rude and gave misinformation. The issue however, did get resolved and I received my cardigan. Sizing seems different than it used to be.
This order, I received a shirt that is just garbage and a bathing suit that just doesn't look great so I'm returning them but I didn't receive the pre-paid return slip in my package. Chatted in with Sarah W on their online chat feature. She was unbelievably rude (and had terrible grammar). Ended the chat before I could even ask any more questions. I believe the order I just made is going to be my last. I'm no longer willing to pay that much money for spotty quality and terrible Customer Serivce.

With Venus you have to know what fabrics to buy. Like the su I've had a few misses, but learned what to buy and what not to buy. Their jeans fit me really well and at $22.99 you cant beat the price! Fast shipping and I buy when shipping is free..

I ordered one blouse to try from Venus last November and I was very surprised with great quality of fabric and the style was exactly the same as on their picture. I ordered 6 different dresses for Christmas parties and they all were amazing.

I placed an order for 3 items on 2/23. My delivery date was supposed to be 3/1. I tracked the shipping several times as it got closer to my address. Well... 3/1 came and went with no package received. Now my delivery date jumped to 3/9 and according to the tracker the package hasn't left Florida yet. Not pleased as I wanted to wear one of the tops to an event this weekend.

I can't believe the bad reviews for Venus. I've been ordering from Venus for years and have never had a problem. I did return something once and the customer service person was helpful. I always read the description twice so I know what I'm ordering. I've recommended Venus to a few of my friends and they've been happy as well. Unfortunately, they don't have free shipping. Please remember this about shipping - when weather is bad, the length of shipping time is usually longer than normal depending on where you live.

Been a customer for years and just received an order in today's mail. #1 they sent me something I didn't order. #2 their size Large apparently is now for a woman weighing about 90 pounds. I've always ordered size large from them in the past. The sweaters I got won't even fit my kid! So disappointed. Everything is going back. Such a disappointment!

There was nothing during the time of my order to state that I would be subject to extra fees. There was also nothing to say that I would be charged in US funds. So my $79 bathing suit turned out to be $79 US +$39 Canadian duty and taxes and I was told I'd also have to pay extra for Canada post and COD charges. What I thought was 479 turned out to be $142.95! And the quality was about what I would expect from Walmart! What a scam! Stay away from this company!

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
