Ordered the name meaning cup. Completely full if grammatical errors. I cannot find a phone # to call. Sent a complaint through the website. Its been 3 days. No response. Calling credit card company to get my $ back!
Urban Dictionary started out as a proposed reference for slang, regional vernacular and colloquialism.
It quickly digressed and devolved into a banal collection of adolescent portmanteau and flippant one liners mostly focused on explicit sexual description and racism. Somewhat analogous to 4-chan and 8-chan but limited to non-existent words which are mostly stream of consciousness portmanteau conjured by the imaginations of adolescents or individuals with a juvenile mindset.
Most of the entries do not constitute slang or regional forms of expression. They are simply words made up by adolescent minded individuals whose obvious intent is being offensive, snarky, cheeky or cute.
By all appearances, most Urban Dictionary contributors and peer reviewers know nothing of linguistics nor regional slang and colloquialism.
Everything on here is racist, offensive, ignorant or just stupid. It's like reading the writing on the bathroom wall from a 50 year old living in their mom's basement. I feel dumber just having gone to the website.
I bought a personalized mug for a Christmas gift, the quality of the printing is very very bad. I am really disappointed and I will never buy again from them. I even wrote to the customer service that never answered me! A shame!
This website is strange, but not exactly in a good way. I know most defintions are meant to be jokes, but what's the point? A website with crude sexual defintions I never wanted to hear, especially made - up words that sound like Glenn Quagmire's fantasy. It's not informative, and whenever I come across this site it's pretty annoying. Very harmless, though very annoying.
Only visit this site to get a good laugh, since it's not an actual dictionary. The website itself looks very 2000's and cheap.
Allowing offensive words (and I don't mean "dirty" words) incite hate, or worse. There are words that are racist, and Urban Dictionary seems to be ok with that. No website should allow dissemination of hate.
Everyone saying that it's a bad site doesn't realize that this isn't the real definition. If you want real answers other than something that doesn't show up in the real dictionary go to dictionary.com.
This is the most idiotic website there ever was. It is very racist and has a constantly uses the n word and the f word. This is the most God dammed website ever. This website used to be really great, but it is getting bogged down with too many user postings and too many "definitions" for words/phrases that are unknown outside of someone's neighborhood or close friends.
Urban Dictionary a website for slang lets go on to... oh there is a guy talking about n****s and having sex! The thing is that horny teenagers and perverts rule the site! This is very interesting and my favorite site. Children, parents and youngsters use it many times. They can bookmark it. They can find the proper things that they actually want to know. A single fetid mind can log on to Urban Dictionary, make up a "definition" that absolutely no one uses, and UD and search engines such as Google will give it weight it doesn't deserve. Many perfectly fine terms and phrases are tainted because some vulgar kid got to them first. As a writer, countless times you can invent a new term for something, Google it just to be sure the name's not taken by something real, and find that the top results are vulgar garbage with one or two upvotes (and thus not worthy of being remotely close to the top results). This is partially the search engine's fault but UD is also to blame.
The Urban Dictionary is extremely racist and offensive towards blacks and many other people. I don't really appreciate seeing the "N" word used to describe black people in so many shameful ways. The site should be ashamed!
When Dictionary.com fails you... -... try Urban Dictionary. It's more likely to have what you're looking for and it will be a whole lot funnier when you find it too.
Also, submit your own definitions or vote for your favorites. However, browsing is not very effective because of the sheer volume of entries, but the 'word of the day' and 'random' lookups can be fun.

This is another really fun site. If you don't understand a particular slang saying or word or you just wanna learn some fun new terms, this is the site to go to. It's really pretty humorous as well as informative.
Someone told me one day that someone "fartled" them. I said "what?" They told me to look the word up on urban dictionary and I did and it gave me quite a chuckle, lol. It's obviously a slang, made up term, lol. I'll let you look this one up on your own, lol.

Urban dictionary allowed anyone to bash another person freely on the internet using derogatory language. A feature that should NOT be allowed to use freely on the internet because it promote cyber bullying.
Someone posted a definition of a last name, clearly this person had a beef with a person with that last name. UD published it without any kind of verification and now my child is getting teased at school. I have written to them to have it removed.
