Octane Dream: Excellent seat. European car leather, matte finish. Firm cushion. Excellent lumbar support. Wider than leather recliners in the movie theaters I go to. Love the adjusting headrest and 2 USB ports. Minor suggestion: The manufacturer should consider an additional button to light the cup holders separate from the bottom light bar.
Customer Service: In general terms, friendly & easy to deal with. Sally was FANTASTIC! She was empathetic when addressing my concerns. She sent parts and instructions right away. Her customer service skills was above and beyond what I normally received from other stores such as dept. stores, auto dealerships, repair shops, etc.
Theater Seat Store: Great selection & prices. I called Theater Seat Store to inquire about different seats, the salesman assisting me was patient & friendly, helpful in describing seats, and explaining different options like tables, lights, etc. I strongly recommend this place, and Octane seats.

Ian, and all the other sales guys were awesome, patient and answered all my questions... the whole experience was great, until the shipping company got involved. The shipping company called and left a message. I called back first thing the next morning, and I don't know if the representative needs a whole pot of coffee or what, but the attitude was so bad, at first I thought I was in a Saturday night live skit, they hung up on me. I had to make multiple phone calls, which all the other representatives were very supportive and helpful and we finally got someone at the local delivery office to arrange or setup a delivery time. However, apparently where I live, right on a major shipping route through Oregon, can only be delivered to on two days of the week, no matter what. I had doctors appointments scheduled months in advance, so I could not be there to receive the item. So the next week I had two more appointments on one of the days that they deliver, so I was hoping to to have the delivery on the day I did not have the appointment. Well that didn't work out either and they didn't care at all, so now totally frustrated I cancelled my appointment, which now I have to wait at least another month to get that appointment on the calender, otherwise I don't think I would ever get the item delivered...then the drivers called the night before the scheduled delivery and asked if they could deliver that night. Of course I said yes, because I didn't trust that company to be there as scheduled if I said no. The drivers arrived and they were nothing like the representatives from the office, they were courteous, and professional and patient. They even helped me with the recliner and waited until I was completely satisfied. I cannot say enough good things about the actual delivery guys, but their company and dispatchers attitudes and their two day only policy are totally unacceptable in today's world, it is 2018. I did find out that it is possible to use other shipping companies, so if I decide to purchase more recliners (which is or was my plan) I will have to do more research and get assurances for delivery days, not just how long from TheaterSeatStore before I make that purchase.
Now that I have the Octane Dream recliner, I can say it is pretty nice, it sits a little higher than expected, but it is comfortable, it is not too soft or too firm. The top grain leather feels genuine and nice. The lights are cool, but when you raise the recliner it shines on the screen and the wall, but you can just turn it off, and turn it back on if you lower it,if you want. The metal cup holders are nice, they can be removed for cleaning if needed. There are two USB ports as well. The tray tables, basic black look nice and are nice, a little smaller than a TV tray, probably fit one normal size plate on there, but they are sturdy. One thing is the location, it can easily swing around and possibly break a glass in the cup holder, but You just have to be a little careful. The reclining motion is smooth and can be adjusted easily. The motorized head rest is a great feature, as u can go further back and move it to watch the screen with some head and neck support. The recliner is comfortable now as I have said, but I expect it to be even better as it is broken in...
One Thing that would be cool, is if they sent a little sample kit for care and cleaning of the leather, as they do offer a full kit for sale.
