First, there is a $10 coupon and free shipping... so I tried it, and I'm glad I did! They have a huge inventory, great prices, fast shipping. The items I ordered were packaged in a professional manner... and guess what else was in my box? Another coupon. I've been a customer now for approximately six weeks, and am working on my third order. Check it out!
Smooth transaction for both purchase and returns... Better than ThredUp for accuracy of the listing and the return process. The clothing condition was accurately described (and very good overall condition), but I wish the website had some measurements included for each item to improve the fit success rate (especially given the variance in sizing between different brands). Out of 7 items I ordered, only 2 fit. The only option for returns is to take store credit, but the return shipping was quick and the return transaction processed quickly. I will order again, but probably not frequently since you only receive store credit for returns.
The baby clothes I bought were very nice,, they were name brand,, I'm very happy with all of them,, very nice clothes and not expensive!
Everything is easy about this site. From searching to what I'm looking for to the process of purchasing. I used for the first time two weeks ago and so far I have placed five orders. I have been pleasant surprised by the quality of the items I have received and will continue to purchase more. It has really turned me into a shopaholic.
The best part of the site are the photos of merchandise. Clear and precise. Obviously a professional photographer is working behind the scenes. Great job!
I am very satisfied will the products i have received. On returns and sales. All the questions i had were promptly answered. Refund was quickly made. I WILL keep buying from them. Yours, rhonda dorsey
This is a great site! Got fast free shipping on order of a bunch of shorts for hubby. Its usually so hard to find shorts that he likes and they are so expensive! I found 5 pair of nearly new shorts for next to nothing! Considering he tears them up at work so fast, I will LIVE on this site!
I have purchased from Swap.com and have been very pleased with what I have ordered. It arrived in a timely manner and was just as described. Will be ordering more!
I've ordered twice now from Swap.com and both times I received my order in a timely manner and was beyond pleased with what I received! Excellent products AND excellent service!
I placed and order and recieved nothing i actually ordered. Tried corscing customer service and it wasn't until I opened a disputed through PayPal that they answered me and were so rude! They sent me a return label but the postage was wrong as the things I recieved were heavier than the items I ordered and the postage for return label was heavier. All they had to do was send me a return label for correct postage but no. So I guess I'll be keeping items I have no use for and continuing my disputes through PayPal and hopefully get my money back. Don't expect help from this company. They have no phone number and you may or may not get them to email you back. I'll never order again.
About a month ago, I saw an advertisement on a social media site about Swap.com and I ignored it. A few days later, I saw it again. I looked it over, and was frankly was a bit skeptical. A few days later, I saw it again, and figured that I would try it out (after all they were offering a complete refund if I wasn't happy). I thought I might buy 1 or 2 polo shirts. I bought 7 and the week after, I bought another 3. I love Swap.com. Give it a try; you have nothing to lose.
I've made multiple purchases through Swap. Every time I've ordered something, without fail, there's a mistake. The men's shirt they have advertised online is, in reality, a child's small. The same thing goes for a snow suit I bought... it arrived and it was a child's small even though it was advertised in the Men's section. I bought a Hollister shirt that was listed "Like New" but had a 3 inch tear in the sleeve. I was awarded store credit for two items I sent back but after an email to the BBB and an email to their Corporate Office, I still never got my store credit. The company, in theory, is a good marketing strategy, but their customer service and product delivery isn't worth the headache. Save yourself the time, energy, and money and just go to the thrift stores in your city.
Bought a couple pair of sandals. The first set fell apart out of the box.
Both soles blew on first wear of second set while walking into church. It's like they've raided a good will box and are doubling the price.
Won't be in biz much longer
I love this site. I have ordered several times in the past 2 months. Great clothes, good condition and great prices. Easy returns on items that don't fit or I don't like. Return label provided. I don't mind store credit- it gives me a reason to shop some more. Great bargains and great service.
I discovered Swap.com about two weeks ago. I've made 3 orders since then. I am a self proclaimed bargain hunter, yard sale goer, clearance shopper, consignment queen, so this was right up my alley. One thing I don't like is if an item doesn't fit or you aren't feeling it, and you want to return for STORE CREDIT, you are charged return shipping. I've used ThredUP too, and they offer free returns if you opt for store credit. Aside from that, I'm in love! As far as selling, it wouldn't be worth it. I can get more $$ for my clothing on the Facebook swap pages.
If you're a seller this place is HORRIBLE. I paid $17.99 to send a huge box of clothes to them to sell. THREE MONTHS later, I get an email that says my stuff is ready and 95% of it was rejected. 92% of the 95% was baby stuff that wasn't ever worn. So they're like, we'll donate it! I paid $11.99 to have it all sent back and when I got it I was LIVID. They rejected stuff because of a piece of lint on the clothing. They rejected three baby's pants because the applique had been folded. They rejected stuff because of a slight fabric discoloration that occurs IN EVERY PIECE OF CLOTHING. When I asked them about it, they told me they have a very rigorous process and it has to be perfect. I'm sorry - you're consignment. Nothing's perfect. It's all second hand. Sometimes third hand. There was a never worn, brand new, Carter's baby furry suit they rejected because one piece of the fur didn't look right. They sent me stuff back with red frown face stickers on the parts they thought were damaged. And then the stuff they accepted... When it sells for $5, I get $2. When it sells for $3, I get 60 cents. When it sells for $4, I get 80 cents. This whole process is an absolute joke and they make a KILLING off the seller's items. They are shady, scammy, and downright awful.
Excellent service, fast delivery and tlos items were just like their description. I love SWAP and will continue to shop and recommend it to friends and family!
I had been searching for a skirt that I probably bought 5 or 6 years ago. I searched until I found it on swap. It looks new and an so happy I have a replacement skirt. Customer service was great
I bought my son clothing that goes in major stores for 50 bucks. I got it on SWAP for 10 bucks. The clothing arrived in 5 days and was in great condition. There site was easy to use and there was no shipping fee. I will never get my sons' clothing from any where else.
I am so happy I found this site. Excellent items, great quality and pricing. Fast shipping as well. Definitely a repeat customer and would recommend everyone to this site as it's for the whole family not just kids
I was amazed at the quality of the clothes that I received from SWAP. The clothes were exactly as described. They looked brand new. The prices are terrific. The customer service is top notch!
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.
Answer: Hi Patricia, We are on about a 55-60 day delay in processing inbound shipments. When your items are processed, you will be notified via email that they are ready to be priced. Have you sent an email to our support team at assistance@swap.com yet? A member of our team can look up your account information and give you a better idea of exact when you can expect to see your items. Thank you, Lauren Swap.com Support Manager
Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.
Answer: Hi Jo, That is correct. You can return items that do not fit as long as you request the return within 30 days. We will send you a pre-paid UPS shipping label to send back your return free of charge. Once the return is received, we will refund your card within five (5) business days. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at assistance@swap.com. We are happy to help! Best, Matt
Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
