Swanson web site for ordering has gone from one of the easiest to use,, to now, Nov.2022, being one of the very worst I have ever seen. Way too many popup tags, hidden items, items which override what you are looking at, just a terrible f'd up mess. I will not use them again. Some Geek Battalion has really screwed up their soup.

I thought Swanson was the answer to my prayers in getting some purchases to my sister who was home alone in another state and sick with COVID. Swanson had the items I needed so I placed the order, requested overnight shipping, made payment, and got an order confirmation stating I would get an email with a Tracking Number. Here's the glitch: Swanson will only ship to the billing address on a first time order. There should be a pop up warning in their system stating this instead of accepting my money and THEN telling me its their policy somewhere written in the fine print. I canceled the order, bought the stuff I needed myself and shipped it through FedEx. Sorry Swanson - you lost a new customer.

I just received my order today June 13,2022 - it's probably my 10th Swanson order over many years. Usually I buy the organic instant coffee, eye wash, fresh nuts that sort of thing. I took a chance to stock up as the organic instant coffee was cheap with the sale offering. The expire date is great - Feb 2025. Some websites take longer to ship to me in California such as Swanson's being in North Dakota. I ordered on June 6 and received 7 days later.
I used to buy most of my supplements from Swanson for years but eventually; both their service and promotions became too much! As others have noted, customer service is pretty much non-existent, orders take way too long to ship and their promotions are so confusing and misleading. I have been a customer of Swanson for over 20 years. Today will be the LAST time I ever go to their web site. Over the last 10 years I have experienced several times price changes from when I place my order to when I actually pay for the item, on their subscription orders, and in their promotion orders. Pea protein from 16.24 changes to 24.99 at check out. Their shipping charges vary constantly as to when you qualify for free shipping. Their use of and promoting Shop Runner to receive free shipping only to find out it is free after you purchase a membership.
My advice order at Amazon. Better prices, better customer service, and reputable company.

I placed an order with 2 day shipping. It didn't arrive in two days. I went out of town and when I got back, 10 days later, it still hadn't arrived.
I reached out to customer service and they said that my order was held up because my billing and shipping address didn't match. I reviewed my
Order confirmation email and confirmed that they did match. I asked why they didn't notify me about this issue sooner. They said they sent an email, which I never received in my inbox nor spam.
Poor customer service, uncommunicative, and all around terrible experience.

My first three orders were fine. The fourth order arrived damaged, severely damaged, in a manner that showed that the product was damaged before it went into the box. The box arrived intact, perfect in fact. My food product was unusable, mangled beyond recognition. The return took forever, they got it in a week and took 2 additional weeks to refund my $.
I am very disappointed, and feel that they should have credited me for the unusable product immediately.
I will never order from them again. Never. Ever. They can take 25% off and stuff it.

Okay, this is the third time this year I tried to shop Swanson Vitamins. As I did the first time, I ended up calling & spoke with a representative asking why Swanson would not give me the 40% discount, as advertised on their website. The website does not say, up to 40% off, which he tried to correct me to tell me. Instead, he took my 48.82 number & added 40% to that number & said that I was getting 40% off because that's what the supplements costs. I told him that if the supplements are discounted prices, then the 40% discount should show on that product. Instead of telling me they can't give me more than one promotion, unlike VITACOST. So going round & round with me, he wouldn't give any discount at all. The website is faulty, because once you put in your name & address, then you can't go back to look at your order when your getting ready to pay for it & notice there's no discount. They give you the subtotal without showing you the tax or the shipping so you want to know how they came up with a total at all. Poor website management; come on promotions that are not real! Nothing was 40% off—it was a total con to get you on their website to order! Not sure I will ever want to shop Swanson Vitamins ever again!

Since I wrote my review Swanson no longer sends me their Vitamin Book that they have sent me since 1969. ( once a month) Their products are not what they used to be and neither is their customer service. They should be investigated again.

Fourth, Out of Stock (Cannot sell this product) = Only allow to order "Swanson's product" = Cannot cancel (If we need a refund after receive and returning) Finally, i can discount some of Swanson's Products.
