I purchased a round trip ticket for my family from Orlando to New York. This company charged me an extra $200 to select seats which I did not want. I called them and requested the cancellation of this but they said it couldn't be done by phone and that I would have to send an email. I did, but no response. I called the following day and they acknowledge the email and said to wait for two days to get processed. I called again after three days because my refund did not come through. They told me to wait for the next Monday that it was going to get the refund. Sadly enough that did not happen. I called again and they said that they have no idea when it would be processed and might take up to a full month. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
Headache headache. I've booked and paid for my flights and now there requesting for me to pay more staying the fares have gone up and refusing to refund me. When call to try to resolve issue they keep you on hold forever or simply disconnect your call. Worst experience I've ever had with a booking site.

Absolutely horrible company! Never had such a bad experience before with any other travel company. I purchased a flexible fare (HKG-RUH on 11/27/2020 by Philippine Airlines) from Smartfare for USD885.13, including USD147.52 flexible ticket fee. Then I needed to change the itinerary to a later date, 12/17/2020. I called the customer service hotline at *******278. However, the customer service requested to pay me charge they called "fare difference", which was different every time I called (from USD175 to 375). At the same time, the fare shown on the Smartfare web site for these itinerary and date was USD624.23. When I asked to explain where the "fare difference" came from, the company representative just hung up. I checked the fare on other web sites, including the Philippine Airlines, and it was about USD620-650 all around. To my opinion, Smartfares intentionally deceives customers by charging a fee for the flexible fare and then for "fare difference", which does not exist. I tried to reach the company by phone to resolve the issue and change the itinerary but they simply hang up. Finally, I reached the help desk and had to pay USD175 of "fare difference" just not to lose my ticket and all money. That means I paid USD1060 for the fare, which was listed on the Smartfare web site for only USD624.23! This business practice is totally unacceptable. I wonder how they were able to obtain BBB accreditation displayed on their web site. This is simply total dishonesty! Stay away from these scammers!
I bought qatar airline ticket through this web, cause they offered cheaper price than the airline's website itself. Covid-19 hit, I can't fly. Requested refund, told to wait for 2 - 3 months. I waited, still have not received any refund. Their customer service is full of rude men with indian accent (really hope they can be nicer).
Thought we were getting a deal. Had to purchase tickets in a hurry. Received an initial confirmation email but the code did not return any information when entered on airline website. Received final e mail ONE MINUTE before departure WHILE ON PHONE with one of their agents. And to add insult to injury they CANCELLED my ticket and charged me an extra $150 to get us another flight on a different airline! If it was not a family emergency would not have went along. It's sad that I thought I was calling the The airlines to change my reservation and actually called Smart fares tools. Christopher Answers the phone never tells me that hes not with United Airlines but instead When I tell him that they have the wrong date on my reservation he says he couldn't change it because all the seats were sold for the actual date that I was supposed to leave New York City. Then he goes to tell me that he found 2 seats he could hold but I had to pay $350 For the seat other than that I had to wait 7 more days before I could take a flight back home to Mississippi. I paid the $350 to take the flight and wait it On the E ticket 2 hours later after receiving the E ticket he Carl's back in state that my tickets had been canceled And I can't pay an additional $225 per person and leave A-day early then the day that I was I was supposed to leave. As you know it was all Christopher trying to Yet me to make a reservation with his company Smart tools.com so that he could get the commission. Thanks to the United Airlines representative I was able to Recover and not have to pay a penny again. They sold me a canceled ticket and on the day of my departing they never sent me a notification that my flight had been canceled. They could not refund me and instead suggested I purchase a ticket 2x as much as what I had originally paid. Wasn't worth it, I bought a completely separate new ticket from somewhere else instead.

I found two options to buy the ticket: SmartFare and Kiwi, and their differences in price were $20. I decided to give a try to SmartFare (to save $20... how I regret). Their website wasn't working, and they were unable to process my request. Okay, I booked the trip by kiwi. 2 hours later, a customer service FROM SMARTFARE calls me saying: Oh! We charged your credit card but there is no ticket available anymore. That was the FIRST BAD MISTAKE. If the website is giving error, you should CALL THE CLIENT BEFORE and ask if they still want your company. In my case, your website wasn't working I decided my issue in another way. They should have NEVER CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD.

September 10th, around 8AM - I bought a flight ticket for my husband and I from Denver to Atlanta for September 12th.
2 minutes after placing the order I've noticed that my husband's sure name was misspelled. Called them immediately and explained the situation. They wanted to charge us money for the change although the ticket wasn't confirmed yet. After a little argument they agreed to change with no charge.
A little after noon I've noticed that I can not access the reservation on the airline's app. Tried calling with no answer.
At 11PM we've got a phone call. The price had changed and now we have to pay around 100$ extra.
After checking the airline's app I got even a cheaper price for the flight then the original in SmartFares.
I think they'd tried to make an extra profit on us. Didn't give them the satisfaction.

I bought a flight ticket from this website to go to Ecuador from Madrid to fly on April 2020, however, due to the pandemic COVID-19, I was not able to fly.
I contacted them and stating I wanted my refund and they told me it is not refundable, however, because of the global situation, all flights that has been cancelled by the aviators are refundable and that is by law.
When I contacted them in April, they told me I can rebook my flight and fly up until November 2020, however, due to the uncertainty of the global pandemic, I do not want to fly this year as I do not want to risk my life, I contacted them again last Friday, 14th August and I talked to Customer Service Assistant named Sebastian and he was rude and he said without even trying that my flight is non-refundable and I cannot get my money back.
This is a different situation and I said to him, by law I have the right to get my money back and it is his duty to get to contact the airline and apply for a refund on my behalf. He doesn't want to do it! He's absolutely lazy and he's applying the rules and conditions that applicable before the pandemic.
