Still waiting on the status of my claim I requested a month ago. The email said to get in contact with someone to fix it. I thought that's what I was paying you guys for. Also Do I send the claims form before or after I have it fixed.
We have used Select Home Warranty for the last three home purchases. Our first home we ended up filing a furnace claim, a dishwasher claim, and a AC claim. All three were taken care of in a timely manner. The second home we never needed to use our warranty. And, now on home #3 we are filing our first claim after purchasing the warranty 5 months ago. I called at 11pm Central time and my call was returned in less than ten minutes. The CSR was polite and prompt. Thanks again!
Received call and email within 4 hours of submitting claim. Information regarding the process and timeframes for technician contact was great, answered most questions regarding the process. Waiting on contact, but very satisfied so far.
David walker was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job at explaining what was covered and exactly what steps to take if we ever needed their service. The phone call was clear and concise. I'm excited to be with this company for the next years to come.

The people was polite and nice taking the report. Your tech. Quonset Bryson was very professional and nice he told me about the compressor and I was also there when he called you. So I would know what was stated by him.
We had an intermittent problem with the cooling in our fridge/freezer. I processed the claim by phone. A repairman came out the next evening- super convenient. He was very nice. In the end the cost of the repair was worth more than the value of the fridge. We will end up replacing it and get reimbursed for the value of the fridge, which was really low. That was the only not great part, but it was probably accurate for a 16 year old refrigerator. By far the best part was the quick appointment with the knowledgeable, friendly repair person.
Ray exercised Proper Profession work Ethics, Presented the company with Integrity and what it delivers. I explained my needs and limited resources as a Senior Citizen. Ray informed me of a great package that suits my needs. I read a few "negative" response from recent reviews posted this year(2020), I hope Select Home Warranty has taken the time to read and review their concerns or comments.and made some improvements. I'll be the judge to that when my time comes for service(s). Over all, Ray was cordial, helpful, attentive, and friendly; Great Customer Service etiquette.
I needed a repair person on a cold day and my furnace went out. I ended up calling my own repair man and didn't hear from the company's person for 48 hrs. Which is not acceptable in this kind of weather.
It took a month to get approval but I am getting reimbursed in full and I had a similar incident last year with the same outcome

I purchased the warranty and never received my coverage documents from via email like I was told. When I called back to question this. The agent was very apologetic and corrected the issue in under 2 minutes. Since I do value my time, it was good service that he recognized it and worked as quickly as possible. So far so good. I will write another review if I have to do a claim to cover what happens with an actual service call. But for now they seem like a pretty good service for the money.

My microwave completely died the panel went blank. I called the warranty service and they told me I would be contacted by a service rep in the area. The following day I was contacted and made a repair appointment 2 days later. The repair person arrived ON TIME and diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. I was then called 2 days later to schedule the repair and again they were ON TIME and completed the repair. I am very happy so far with the warranty and the service performed. I would recommend this warranty to anyone concerning purchasing a home warranty

He answered all my questions and helped me to understand what I was looking for. Pricing of select home warranty beats every other vendor in the market. Have not yet raised any claims or service calls to comment about prompt response and quality of contractors.
I would never recommend this service to anyone who didn't get it for free. Even then, there is likely a steep time-cost for trying to get anything done. They are a call center with a short script that will simply say "your issue is a top priority" and "while it generally takes 24-48 hours to find a vendor you should expect something sooner," no matter what your issue is or when you call, no matter how many times you call about open claims. I've had a claim open for more than a month with the same response each time. There's always "no supervisor available at this time," or "the dispatch center will escalate your claim immediately," with no real action being taken.
This company will contract the lowest bidder, someone you likely do not want repairing your appliances. I was assigned (without ever being contacted) a company to repair my machine. I found this out after waiting a week and calling back to SelectHomeWarranty. I was told I should reach out directly to the repair company myself. The company was unresponsive and their voicemail was full. Any calls to SelectHomeWarranty ended with the same back-and-forth of asking for a different vendor and never getting one.
The call center is very clearly only there to get customers off the phone in the shortest amount of time possible. They follow a very limited script and won't address any real topics or have any form of conversation that divulges from the script. There is no "support" provided.

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
