Signing up was easy. The man I spoke with quoted me $65 per service call but contract says $75 so that needs clarification but so far so good.
It was very easy to sign up. The agent was nice and informed to best help and offer discounts. I love that they said I would be able to use my own local bonded and licensed technicians if I chose.
I was very impressed with Jake right from the start! He was very knowledgeable and friendly and had all the answers to my questions. I am usually very skeptical with sales calls but to my surprise he was not pushy and gave me several options to choose from. I already referred him to my family and they are calling him tomorrow to sign up 2 houses! Thanks Jake!
I just signed up for the home warranty and spoke to a gentleman named Bruce. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the services they offer. He even offered different plans and price points to earn my business not those pushy customer service reps. No I can't wait to update this review to let you if and when I actually have a claim how that went
When we singed up for the warranty that was actually was recommended to us by a friend we spoke to sales rep that basically told us you pay now and everything is covered after except the service fee for them to come out. I understand the contract and all the details are not possible to be discussed but i am in sales myself and always make sure to highlight most important parts of the contract verbally.We were short by 7 days to be fully covered to fix our washer because of 30 day policy after signing up and it was very frustrating.
Also the timing for the claim to be processed and the tech coming and first to check it out and then fixing it took almost 3 weeks. With 3 kids and 3 weeks not be able do the laundry is a lot! There's should be better way to process these quicker.
Not only was the quote affordable, the customer service was quick and friendly. I've had other warranty companies and this company beats them in price and customer service.

It was a typical SHW discussion. They were quick to pull up my account and claim information. The claim was denied because they don't cover Freon leaks like other warranty companies.

I purchased the warranty June 2019, and just experienced an issue this month May 2020) and renewed to become effective July 11,2020, my claim was denied, I need to report in advance before renewing my policy. I've never experienced anything like this. Therefore, I'm cancelling the warranty in its entirey.

I had made arrangements for my policy to be paid on the 3rd if the month. This morning I found my bank account debited on the 2nd. I called and Select made sure to correct this so my premium is collected to coincide with my pension payment. Accomplished in less than 5 minutes

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
