I contacted selecthomewarrranty.com with plumbing issues in my kitchen and two bathrooms. They scheduled a technician from Medley Plumbing to come to my home for the repair. They showed up on time, repaired two of the four issues, and we are currently awaiting parts and resolution of the two remaining issues.

I reviewed Select Home Warranty online before contacting them to sign up. While the agent that answered my call wasn't very enthused about taking my phone, I was however pleased with the plan that he offered me. I haven't had to make a service call yet, but I will be back to write my review on that experience when it's time. Also I would not that the email from the agent also has this statement "It was truly a pleasure dealing with you and if there is anything I can do for you in the future, please do not hesitate to ask." I think DEALING with someone sounds like that person was a pain to begin with. How about SPEAKING or ASSISTING, not dealing.
I had a situation today with my washing machine and in just a few minutes I had my claim processed and email received that it is being processed.

I researched online and Select Came no. 1 on the top 10 lists. I entered my information to get a quote and as soon as I hit submit, I got a call in less than 2 min. The sales rep was really helpful and explained the warranty really nicely.
The plans are competitive and comprehensive. Overall worth the peace of mind. Covers everything their competitors cover as well.
My master shower drain developed a leak and I filed a claim. Select was unable to get a technician to my home so I got my own and he got to my house he called them and they would not approve the work so they left. I was later told by other plumbers that Select is notorious for not paying claims thus stiffing repair companies... so after 1 solid week of waiting I was forced to repair it myself which was not a super big job but it was a covered repair. Now Select is refusing to pay the measly $150 amount that they EVENTUALLY approved the repair EVEN tho they were unable to secure a plumber. They tell me that I need to submit an invoice which of course I do not have due to repairing it myself. These people are lying snakes and use all foreign call center help the majority of those who do not speak English very well at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY. They are not recognized by the BBB bureau either so you're basically out of luck. THIEVES!

Hello, I was most satisfied with the professionalism of Mr. Richard Zoneenee, representative, in explaining and assisting with best pricing for my plan. I must say, won't know "true experience" of my investment with Select Home Warranty until I submit a claim. After my claim experience, I will post a rating and "based on my claim and service experience" I will share with my family and others who are currently considering a home warranty. Thank you.
Spoke with Alex and explained the contract clearly, provided us all the details of the coverage and followed up with immediate email with the contract details and the coverage for review after we had signed up.

Answer: After filing 5 claims, and one tech that wanted to pad his pocket resulting in me fixing my own leak in a toilet at my expense after paying their tech. And another tech wanting to get my pool setup for summer at150. More than I already gave for deductible she didn't fix my pump or water line to my pool. Both denied by select home Warrenty. And 3 more that I paid their techs for then had to fix it myself. Now my freezers compressor is out and they took money out of my bank account without my permission after saying they would go ahead and fix the freezer well guess what they declined it. And said it wasn't covered when in the contract it says it is. List all meat and others because of 3 weeks if waiting for them
