Select Blinds make it so easy to measure and order blinds for your home. I chose Select Blinds after seeing me daughter's new blinds and getting her recommendation on the quality of the blinds and their customer service. I did have a question on my shipping as some blinds kind of got stuck in the shipping system. I called Select Blinds and they said they would call and find out for me and get right back. This person DID call me right back and let me know what was going on. I also had 1 MINOR issue and they again were right on it. I cannot say enough about how GREAT their customer service is! This is a business THAT CARES about their customers and will go the extra mile to make them happy.
I ordered $800 worth of blinds, 2 were the wrong size, way too big. I called them and they told me I would have to take pictures and email them, which I did. I did everything they asked except stand on my head. I have fibro and it was really painful for me to take pictures of the blinds, windows and then the boxes with labels inside marked with the incorrect sizes. The pictures weren't good enough and they then told me to take them out of the box and take pictures. I told them I was done. They refused to do the right thing and send me the correct blinds or refund my money. I still can't believe it. I now have to buy them again. Shop ANYWHERE but here.
We purchased some shades from SelectBlinds for two bedrooms. We were pleased with the look, fit, and ease of installlation. Unfortunately, one shade was defective, broke a suspension cord, was no longer functional, and we had not retained our purchase information, order #, etc. We decided to order a different window covering that was somewhat sturdier. When asked to rate my experience on that purchase I was still steaming about the broken shade and was less than laudatory in my one star comments. To my surprise, I received an email and text message from Brian Royston at SelectBlinds asking me to contact him. I did so, and after I explained my poor rating, Brian went out of his way to find my order and replace the defective shade at no cost to me. I received my Select blinds after Fed ex held them up for more than a month. Once installed, it is obvious that the vertical blind slats were made from clearly different lots of material, as they didn't match color or texture, and when closed the light from outside highlights the 4 slats very clearly that are different. I recently purchased a Designer Blackout vertical panel track blind from this company. Pictures on the website show that the panels lie flat against each other and reviews state the blind provides privacy from the neighbors. This is far from the case. There is over a 1/2" gap between the tracks on which each panel is hung allowing anyone looking in from the outside to see into the room There is no privacy at all. The company is refusing a refund because the blind was made correctly. Never mind that the pictures on the website are deceptive as to how the blind actually funcations. Unless you are willing to lose any money you spend with Select Blinds, do not make a purchase from them.
Watch out, their faux wood blinds should be named obviously plastic. Piece of crap wavy plastic blinds.

It would not be hard for this company to make good on the one blind that isn't working for me…now I have wasted over $500 bcs they won't fix the one blind.

However, we do have a few different policies in place if you happen to make a mistake. First if you do happen to make a mistake while measuring your window we have what's called our Fit Guarantee with this policy we can remake 4 shades for the life of your account 1 per order free of charge the only thing you would have to pay for the difference if the price of the shade goes up due to a bigger size plus a 10 dollar fee for shipping. The next policy we have in place is our 90-day Satisfaction Guarantee, within 90 days of you receiving your order if you happen to not like or want to change anything on your order we can offer the same exact discount you received on your original order plus an additional 10% off the remade item. Blinds arrived broken. Sent SelectBlinds pics of broken blinds. They said they would remake. I didn't want remake of same blinds (or any other type) as they were poor quality and customer service has been terrible. They told me to wait 24-48 hrs for their "decision". Waited over 48 hrs, heard nothing. Second call, again told to wait 48 hrs for their decision. I waited a week, heard nothing. Third call, again told to wait 48 hrs for their decision. This time rep said they don't give refunds or accept returns as they only do that in special circumstances. I didn't see that policy on site but they likely put it in small print in an inconspicuous place. It's certainly not made obviously apparent at time of order. Also, it doesn't sound legal to sell a broken, poor quality product and force customers to buy it. Thank goodness I didn't order blinds for the entire house as was the original plan. I would have been stuck for thousands rather then the close to $200 I'm dealing with now.
We ordered and received our blinds two months ago, minus the adjusting wand. I've called and used their chat room twice to get the rod and both times they said it was "on the way" Still have not received it. I saw that they're rated in seventh place as far as blind companies go. I would NOT recommend them!
I miss measured one of my drapes. I contacted customer service immediately and they were very understanding and very absolutely the best at helping me to get it worked out by getting me a replacement at the correct size (even though it was my error in measuring). They even made a complimentary phone call to me to update me on the status of my order and to let me know that they had reimbursed me for the mis-measured drape. I really do love my new blinds! Their products are top quality and exactly as I expected them to be!

Samples take time and promotions are confusing at times. Delivery and siding were awesome and shades look great. Install was pretty simple to do HOWEVER needed to purchase all new stainless steel screws. Screws provided were not good quality and heads stripped out before getting into wall. Screws must go all way in for blinds to fit into space. Otherwise a positive experience!

Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
