As SD grows larger and larger their time-to-ship also continues to stretch-out. After 10 days their system prints a mailing label, but then it takes at least another 2 days for shipping to actually happen. Customer service says 6-10 days, but now even that's not realistic. Too bad they can't even meet their rather poor performance standard. Even for long-time customers, you're going to have to wait an extended time no matter which shipping option you choose. My latest order is now supposed to arrive in a total of 16 days, much slower than others like Silver Gold Bull and JM.
I've been buying from SD Bullion for several years now. No use looking elsewhere, because they always have the best price, a good inventory, great service, and no high pressure salesmen. I recommend them without reservation.

I've now made 2 purchases with SD Bullion, the first being to dip my toe in the water, and the second being full steam ahead. I got exactly what I ordered and in a very timely manner. I used 2 different payment methods and purchased both silver and gold without hassle. While other sources and websites may have more diverse product offerings, SD Bullion offers a still wide variety products at exceptional prices! If I had any feedback, it might only be that I prefer the old website more than the new one. New website doesn't show as much price breakdown information versus quantity as the old one and it just feels a little bit clunky. With 50 ounces of silver in 1 ounce of gold now in hand, I'm off to a good start, and I intend to go much farther! Apart from one offs and visiting my local coin shops, I intend to do all of my online precious metals purchasing through this website!
Rather long time period between order payment and shipment, even if you pay extra for 2-day service. Email questions are not always responded to. And for some reason, they charge sales tax on shipping and handling. Even when your state specifically exempts such charges. Not sure why their performance has slipped, but apparently is has.
Nothing to compare against. My first experience with on-line Bullion Dealer was pretty much as expected. Coin delivered in reasonable amount of time for paying by check as I did. Somewhat surprised it was left in mailbox rather delivered to door in person to an adult. Return addressing shows no clear indication of what is inside package which is good. Coin looks great. SD has my business! Most complaints I read about are either bogus or a big misunderstanding. Guess it comes with the territory.
Love your company used you a bunch butch probably not for junk silver again. Had 4 quarters that were not even silver and what I consider to be a very high number of badly worn and no date coins. I did like the maple leaf monster box they shipped in. This is the only purchase from the doc I have not been totally satisfied with
It's understandable that shipping is impacted by demand. But customers should not expect to wait over a week just to have the item shipped much less delivered. Your competitors have you beat on shipping and pricing

New customer to SD Bullion. I Placed an order on some 2023 "BU" coins. One came to me with a big flat edge on one side the coin. I contacted for replacement they told me that I can expect the coins to have damage from time to time. Theirs a reason I pay the higher premiums for "BU" coins. Yes they in no way are going to be Proof finish. I understand they will have some scratches here and there. But to buy a new coin and the edge flattened is not ok. Not only did I pay a premium markup but I also will take a loss when/should the time come for me selling it. They did me dirty and no concern for making it right. For that reason I'll NEVER be back.

If you are a collector looking for flawless coins I would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins. Proof coins are inspected by the mint for quality of strike and for any flaws.

I ordered two gold maples from SD Bullion and had planned to order one per month until:
They sent me wire instructions. I followed them to the letter but it seems as though they are not able to take my bill pay from my local bank which wires my rent money every month. My bank looked to correct things by sending a check. Turns out the address SD provides is inaccurate so I have a check and instructions for SD bullion on how to accept a wire from my bank sitting God knows where.
SD Bullion contacted me threatening ME with a cancelation fee though I have done my due diligence. Will never deal with these crooks again.

SD Bullion screwed up my electronic payment, and when the order still hadn't shipped after 12 days, I called to check on the status, and the person I spoke to told me the original check had bounced. That was an absolute lie! They messed it up. I would recommend that you avoid this company.

They push the "2 day" FedEx shipping but take 3-4 days to process. They charged me immediately then sent me an email saying that my order will not ship till next month on an item that shows "available" online. Garbage

Their policy for changing orders is very unfair. They claim it's to protect the business. Apparently I am a crook for wanting to change my order and charged me $35 fee for a small order. It was my first time ordering any type of precious metals and I will not go back.

Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
