I ordered 20 oz silver and 1 oz platinum and was assured certified mail delivery. Never received it. APMEX said it was delivered with gps proof. I filed a complaint with BBB but got a denial because APMEX had gps proof of delivery. I rebutted that I never signed for it but they said they can't do anything because they have gps proof of drop off.
Coins are lower quality than described. If you order BU you will get AU at best and the AU listings are barley "fine". Customer service is awful and the shipping department clearly does not care if your merchandise arrives in good condition. Several Morgan dollars were damaged in shipping due to not being properly packed.
I purchased silver along with 1/10 oz random mint gold. Gold dented/bent red spots and gouged! 3 red spots on panda side and 7 more on reverse. Pictures aren't the best at showing them due to golds luster. They have no claim of coin being CULL quality but that's what I received. Paid $250 for a $190 coin. And my review of the product in the app never populated so they still have a 100% 5 star review going. Likewise their return for damaged items has non refundable shipping and a "restocking" fee if $50 or 10% (whatever is more).
I cancelled an order shortly after making the order. They took the money from my banking account anyway, took several days to process the cancellation, charged me the drop in gold price that happened while they took their sweet time processing my cancellation, and added a fee on top of that. 70+ dollars lost. The silver lining is that this event led me to seek other suppliers and I've realized that pretty much everybody else has better prices!
Had the misfortune of having to deal with Tiffany and Joel today. Had to cancel 3 pending orders because Joel didn't trust the shipping address that they had sent an order to before. Now won't refund my money for 60 days. Take a fool's advice and don't deal with these people, I never will again.
Saw what I wanted on their easy to use and clear website for a total coming to around $3K as a first time customer. Ordered it on-line Monday morning, paid with credit card, paid for 2-day delivery, arrived Thursday afternoon in the Rockies. Exactly what I ordered. All good here.
APMEX Company did a recurring charge for nearly $3700 per day for 4 days running. Nearly 15K went out of my account, When I called to stop all the charges. They told me it would be 3-5 business days and then another 3 to go back to the bank it's been nearly a month. I called twice since then and they gave me the run around until I spoke to a supervisor and he said that because it was electronic funds it would take 60 days as a mandatory hold. Completely ridiculous,I should have just taken the gold. A pompous, arrogant agent in accounting was of no help explaining that they have ALOT of people buying $3600 of gold on a recurring charge daily. DAILY. That's $108,000 a month, nearly 1.3 million in a year. I find that hard to believe on a recurring daily charge. So now they kept my money and didn't send the gold. BEWARE of this shameful operation.
Apmex I have been dealing with you for over 17 years I can no longer afford to buy your product your minimum purchase price is beyond my fixed income level thank you for your service through the years.
Canceled three orders by credit card for no reason. First, they told me it was the bank (credit card issuer); the bank confirmed it was not them. Then APMEX told me it was because my billing address for the credit card was wrong and they would fix that. Finally they told me (third call to customer service) that I had to establish a history of paying by other methods such as wire before they would accept my credit card. This is the only vendor I have ever had a problem with; perfect credit and long history with credit card use. Avoid APMEX and find someone who appreciates your business.
I placed an order for $1300 dollars and they cancelled my order with no explanation they took the money out of my bank account and they 5 days later they cancelled my order unexpectedly, for no reason and when I check the status of my order it just still says processing, when originally they said item would ship next buisness day. This is ridiculous this item was a very special order for me and for them to just cancel my order with no reason is very confusing. I would not use this company as they will cancel your order for no reason at all
I thought I enclosed 1-3 day mail service $17.90.Any way they contacted me a month later said I didn't had to put on cc and somehow it got on goggle.My CC so I had deleted my CC info.So I got package after I had repay got in 2 days but took a month.
On March 27,2023 we placed an order for Silver and Gold, the order came in 2 separate shipments the first shipment with the invoice shows items not shipped yet, green lines thru the items not shipped yet. After calling Apmex about where there rest of the order was they told me I received it on the first shipment I told them I did not receive it yet and he told me they went back on the video and it showed it was in the box. (Remember it was marked not shipped on the order.)I told them I did not get it, it was to bad, I was out this money because now it was my word against there's. The item was 1oz. Cancelled order (for 2nd time) over a week ago, and have been told on 3 different dates that the refund was sent out (8/31,9/1, and 9/5) and have yet to receive. Customer service has not been helpful in any way.
Yes I have been a member of apmex for a long time now and after so many years they tell me they can not sell to me due to my race and poverty status and that only wealthy people can now purchase from them and the little guy with a Mexican heritage don't matter I'm so made that I have to tolerate this injustice I'm sick over it
For starters—it misspelled the word "status" as "staus" on all of my order entries in my account. Lol. And after five emails, two calls, and a chat session, it still can't perform the simple task of updating payment information and processing an order. My favorite response was from its second—or maybe third— email explaining that the CSR I had just spoken with and who assured me that my order was being processed and would ship this Tuesday didn't really know what she was talking about and that I needed to call back. Not that the second person was any more competent when I did. I wouldn't do anymore business with these people under any circumstances.
Loyal customer for many years, was recently upgraded to vip that lasted for 2 days before having my accounts were locked and no longer permitted to purchase for no reason with no explaination. Don't waste your money with this horrible company they are over priced almost any other seller is cheaper!
I WAS an established customer, using same credit card. I cancelled an order of $21,000 due to APMEX demanding a proof of identity (holding my drivers license next to my face, front and back of drivers license and credit card). How insane! It's been 5 days and they have not released my Pending charge on my credit card after multiple emails and phone calls to do so! This is tying up my funds on my credit card! AX said the problem was them, they must release the charge! DO NOT waste your time or money with this company!
I received my 1oz Paladium Lady Fortuna in an old package with faded numbers. Feels like maybe they sent me a fake or a returned item, certainly not what I ordered and paid for. Waiting for a response from APMEX, I called and asked for a call back to address the issue and so far no call back! Even if they correct the. Problem I simply don't trust them and suggest others check orders carefully.
Ordered the wrong roll of silver dimes and a 20 roll of silver oz coins. Canceled the dimes after realizing they were wrong. Got and email that said if they already shipped I will have to through the return process. Today I got an email days later that says sorry already shipped and all sales are final! No refunds? Never again hope it was worth all the bad reviews.
Only one out of their mind would purchase anything from this company APMEX. Their Supervisor John Nguyen is extremely rude, his associates have zero customer service skills, hang up on you and make you wait longer and longer when they recognize your number. I have reported them to the FTC. I also have not received the silver that I purchased from them. John, with the chip on his shoulder, will not let you speak, will keep demeaning you by speaking over your voice. Complaints have zero tolerance from this company, they won't hear them. Bought a kilo of silver and it is nowhere in sight, no tracking, nothing. I told them I would prefer they request a call back on the package and they resend it via UPS OR refund me but this rude person said No. Is this the customer service we have in the USA? Is this acceptable to most people? I recommend purchasing from the US Gold Bureau or any other mint than from this third class seller. ZERO Stars.
