The process worked well for ordering, but the confirmation took longer than I thought. It took about 2 weeks to receive our order. Some of the holdup was on my side due, in part, by my forgetting to attach my drivers license. Also they asked for an alternative email, which I don't use much, but that is the one they were continuing to use. Once I figured that out it went smoother.
Good experience with SD Bullion. Sent wire on Thurs. Received on Tues the next. They didn't send a shipping notice but did acknowledge receipt of payment. All in all, it was a good experience and cost less than other dealers for the same product.
Purchased a pre 33 $20 gold eagle and some silver bullion from this outfit. Had purchased several orders before this. The gold eagle I purchased came to me with knife marks on the edge of the obverse. It look like someone tried to carve some lettering of some kind. When I received a folllow up email to rate my purchase I rated a negative and stated why. A couple weeks later they emailed me asking why I gave a bad rating and could I send picture evidence. I did and they emailed back that it's still considered BU and nothing could be done. I won't be ordering again from this outfit.

Brilliant Uncirculated coins can still contain small blemishes or slight imperfections. If you are looking for coins without any blemish or in perfect condition we would suggest looking at graded or proof coins. Looking at the photos you sent us, and the product you received, we would definitely still consider this coin BU. The product is from 1901, so it is not going to have quite the same zeal and luster of a 2023 BU coin.

That was my first time buying through SD Bullion. It was a solid web experience, great price, and relatively easy transaction process with updates along the way. It would be nice to have an EFT option but I'll still be back.
I believe I have made 4 purchases so far and every item was delivered at least a week before it said it would and all items looked perfect. Very happy with this company and will purchase more in the future. I was nervous to buy something like this on the internet but after my experience this is a company I trust to deliver great products on time.
This was my first order from SD. They did a good job. My coins arrived on time in good condition. No problems with ordering or delivering. I was notified when my shipment left SD and had tracking all the way.
It's one thing to watch pics and videos online of these beautiful coins, but when you actually hold them and feel the weight, the solidness, and see the bright shine, it feels very powerful. I hold a couple of them in my hands every morning and night and feel the incredible energy of pure silver. It's inspiring.

Everything went as a good transaction should. I did make a mistake upon checkout but called and spoke to the representative and resolved this issue. Took a bit longer to ship due to the payment method but for the price I cant complain. Will be ordering again since Ive never had any issues with this company.
I ordered some silver coins and bars as I was pleased with the prices but unfortunately it took over 3 weeks to receive. I contacted your customer service department to see what the status was given a vague answer that the order was marked to ship. When it did ship I was sent a tracking number. I had paid for a two day shipment and that took 3 days. FedEx showed it was scheduled to deliver one day but delivered the following day. I did receive an email from you saying why the delay but that was two weeks into the order. I was disappointed with the whole process with your company. Other companies are being up front and alerting customers to delays. Something that you didn't do. I am ready to place another order but don't have much confidence that it would be a smooth and timely transaction. I left a two star review as the coins and bars were very nice.

So, my wife ordered silver for the kids and when we went to pay, their site would not take my payment. At the time, we were just starting chemo treatments and I didn't have time to follow up on the phone for an hour. About a month later, I get a cancellation bill for $400 and threatening to send it to collections if I didn't pay it. I called and explained the situation. These heartless bastards didn't care. They said pay or it is going to collections. They were not out silver and offered to go through with the order even though the silver is about the same or a bit lower in price. However, they didn't care. Since Biden is rewarding people with low credit scores, told them that they can refer it to a collections agency. They will not get one dime from me as it was their system that would not accept the payment! Don't use these heartless SOBs for your investments! Sad that they are willing to lose customers over a BS $400 fee!

Cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Some of the fairest prices amongst most online bullion dealers. Quality is great, would just be better for free shipping on at least expensive or bulk purchases like many other online bullion dealers. If this was implemented, SD Bullion would probably have more of a leg-up on the competition.
I followed instructions so I would not cause any delays or problems. The payment process went fine. The order was delayed some but SD Bullion sent me email indicating some delay which was to be expected due to the huge influx of new orders for precious metals because of US economic indicators. I will use SD Bullion again.

This was my first time purchasing precious metals. Since I'm not wealthy, I shopped around and found no one could beat SD's prices. After the purchase, I found they also have great customer service. SD usually has the best price, and they are reputable, and deliver what they show on their website. Sometimes turnaround time is long, probably because of the mail. I like the fact that they put a bogus business name on their packages to throw off the thieves and goons at USPS.
I am fortunate that the box fit into my locked mailbox as it was left without requiring a signature. All past orders required a signature, so i was not expecting this one to be different. Unlike some of the other reviews, my coins came promptly and all were in the box!
Answer: Company charged me $50 fee because I filed credit card chargeback on the order that didn't arrive. Below is customer service message to me. Since when did company charge consumers $50 fee for filing a chargeback? I filed claim on BBB to resolve the issue. We received a charge back for this 07/09/2019. Since you were unwilling to follow our process for a lost packagewhich would have been much faster than filing a charge back a month lateryour account has been suspended indefinitely and a balance of $50 to cover fees imposed on us because of this unnecessary charge back is due.
