Ivy was very knowledgeable about the company and she answered all of my questions. She was very polite and is a great face of them company. This is what Raise is all about!
Everything about this site is done in a quick manner. Whether it be addressing an order issue or delivering an order it is accomplished with speed and the utmost professionalism.
I purchased a Bealls Outlet card and tried using it. The sales person said the card would not process. She tried three times and then gave me the card back saying it would not work. I got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach thinking I had gotten ripped off. I called Raise when I got home and spoke to Levi. He was very sympathetic, polite and promised to help. I felt a lot better speaking to him. He put me on hold to do some checking on the card. When he came back he said there was something wrong with the card and offered to reach out to the seller or give me a refund. I enjoy buying cards from Raise and feel confident they are a reputable company to buy from.
I wanted to take the time to write a short note to Ethan for helping me today! He was very professional, courteous, and helpful to me!
I have never heard of Raise, but I like it!
Thank you!
Julie
I still don't know how my complaint will be resolved - you sold me a $200 gift certificate that the retailer says is invalid - and your representative said she had to refer it to customer service and didn't know what would happen. I'm afraid you made $200 off me for which I received nothing in return.
Naevia was AWESOME. Best customer service I've encountered with a company in many years. She was knowledgeable, very polite and quick.
I tried using this service once a year ago and received a card that had no balance on it. I was eventually able to get a credit for this, but not without a hassle. As I had used a competitor's service dozens of times without a single glitch, I decided not to use the service again. I decided to try again this year. I tried placing an order for a card. The next day I received an email saying that there was a problem with my order and that I needed to call customer service. I did so right away. The CSA I spoke to told me that this was a security check as my account had been inactive for so long. I verified all of my info with them and was assured the order would be processed. After a couple of hours I received an email saying that the order had been canceled with no explanation. I phoned CS again and was told that there must be a "glitch" in the system and was advised to try placing the order again. I tried again and received the same result. I phoned back again sure that someone in CS would take care of me, but instead their solution was that I cancel my account, set up a new account and try and place the order again. Obviously they don't have their act together and place very little value on my time. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said he could do nothing for me. He even sounded irritated with me. I highly recommend you not use this service unless you want the same hassles.
I purchased a gift card that didn't work. After over a month's time and contacting them, many, many times, I was finally able to get my money back. Pretty worthless 100% Money Back Guarantee if you ask me.
Jane was first rate. She resolved my issue and I was completely satisfied with the outcome. A refund is being processed immediately on a gift card that never was received. Raise is a wonderful company, everyone is friendly and couterous.
I called about an issue redeeming a gift card and spoke with Naevia, the nicest, most helpful representative I could have found and was refunded instantly. Raise.com is a great site, especially knowing that they have your back if you run into any problems. Thanks again!
Thank you for taking care of the issue I had with a card that I had purchased on your site. I am impressed that calling on a Sunday I was able to speak with a live person and you did a great job!
If you don't have any issues with buy or selling cards, Raise is a good site to buy gift cards. But whenever you have questions or issues on your account. You usually have to waiting on the phone more than 30 minutes (in average) to get answered by a customer service based on my three time call experience.
I had a problem with a Ross' card but Bryce of Raise.com in customer service was very nice and helpful. I will be getting a refund - a no hassle refund. It is important that you check the balance on your card in the first 100 days because that is their money back guarantee.
I received great customer service at Raise today. The Post Office tore the envelope my gift card was in, and of course the envelope was empty. There actually wasn't even an envelope left, just the front part. It also took the Post Office two full months to send it to me. I called Raise and they couldn't have been more understanding. After explaining the situation, they refunded the card in full. Amazing, wonderful experience with customer service.
While we were very disappointed not to receive the KFC gift card we ordered due to the shipper not sending it, we were very pleased with Josiah's settling of the matter when I called Raise. Our refund was issued quickly with no hassle. It's good to have a go-to company to buy gift cards at discounted prices.
I had an awesome experience with Raise customer support. I talked to Jane and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company to my family and friends. Thanks!
I had an issue with 2 of the gift cards I purchased and Lynn (a customer service rep) at Raise was responsive and had processed my refund within an hour. This is remarkable to me having dealt with other gift card sites! I will be exclusively dealing with Raise from now on!
Raise.com is an amazing website for thrifty shoppers, and I am truly thrilled with my purchases. As exciting as their discounts, Raise.com also gave me outstanding customer service. When I had a question about a purchase, I was helped by Katerina, who was incredibly professional, efficient, and kind. Katerina's approach to customer service was like a breath of fresh air as she took it upon herself to make sure I was taken care of. I liked Raise.com when I first used the website, but I like it 100 times more after speaking to Katerina - she completes the great package of discount and service that they provide. As a result, I highly recommend Raise.com.
Although there was a considerable wait time to speak to an agent, she spent the time needed to fully understand my situation and resolve the issue.
It's a no brainer. I have been saving a ton since discovering raise. Why wouldn't you want to save! Great deals and mobile app!
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?
