I had a really tuff issue that was really complicated and had been tossed on the laps of at least 6 different customer services reps from 2 different company finally decided to call raise instead of using chat. I was already stressed and upset from all the other failed attempts of help so I wasn't expecting what I got. After a lengthy hold I was welcomed by a girl named Blake, who was by far the best customer representative. She was kind and helped me resolve my issue quick and efficiently, despite its difficulty. Now, thanks to her I have this weight lifted off my shoulder and can go about my ordering.
If you by any chance see this Blake, Thank you again.
Thank you Fawn! She helped me with a e-gift card that had been canceled but still had funds on it. The customer service was outstanding!
I have bought thousands of dollars worth of discounted cards from raise and I have yet encounter a problem that wasn't easily resolved..
I can not praise the customer service of Raise enough. When someone stole the balance of my gift card ($1000!), Raise refunded my money immediately. They were easy to understand, kind, and quick. Full disclosure though, I waited on hold for over an hour on one cell phone and did the "call me back and hold my place in line" on the other cell phone. The "hold my place in line one" never rang, so I highly suggest you hold. In this instance, however, I would say it was completely worth the wait. Thank you Raise! I am a faithful customer who will happily pass along my positive experience to anyone who asks (and some who don't).
Purchased a card from Raise and used it a few times then it was reported lost or stolen by the original owner, I guess. Raise would not honor the guarantee they show on their site. They only refunded me the amount of money I had used, still don't understand that. Anyhow, just be wary if you purchase a card. It may work at first but you may even get the value of what you paid for it.
I purchased a Yankee Candle gift card from Raise.com in January. I immediately spent about half of the money on the gift card initially when I bought the card, but waited until now (September 2016) to spend the rest of the money on the card. To my surprise, I learned that somehow my gift card balance had been depleted and I was unable to purchase with my additional cash on the card. This initially made me very upset and I was beginning to lose faith in purchasing gift cards at a discount. Thankfully, Raise.com rectified the loss I had immediately, and the customer service representative that I worked with, Wren, was extremely responsive and easy to talk to. Raise.com has totally renewed my confidence in purchasing gift cards at a discount. I will be sure to purchase additional cards from Raise.com in the near future. Thank you so much!
I have called several times with a problem that was not Raise.com's fault, but they helped me out and were very courteous the entire time. I would do business with Raise.com again.
I would like to thank Raise.com customer services for their excellent support. I was having a problem using one of the gift card I brought from Raise. Customer care representative Fawn took care of my issue immediately and was very helpful. I would definitely continue to buy from your company again.
This is the first time I have had a problem with a gift card that I have purchased. Fawn handled the issue quickly and effectively. I was sorry to lose the discount since the purchase price was refunded and not a new gift card issued but I understand the system.
I had an issue with the remaining balance of a gift card I had purchased from Raise. I contacted Raise and spoke with Fawn; she was excellent. She resolved my issue in a timely manner with professionalism and courtesy.
I received an inactive gift card and RJ was very helpful helping get a refund.
This is the 5th or 6th time I have had a card rejected when I when to use it, They refund your money for the card which is fine but the inconvenience is almost not worth it anymore. Why should the end user have to suffer because the card is no good. The seller should be held accountable
I appreciate the help I received from the Raise staff. They were able to answer all of my questions via email and in a very timely manner. I will continue to purchase from them on a regular basis.
Had gifted an Olive Garden Voucher to a friend for his birthday. It was fair sized and he waited until he had a group to use it only to discover the voucher had been canceled due to an original fraudulent purchase. Raise went above and beyond to make the transaction right as quickly as possible. I was very pleased to be able to salvage an otherwise embarrassing event.
First time customer. I was leery of purchasing gift cards on-line and was reassured by the 100 day money back guarantee. When it turned out there was an issue with two of the five gift cards i purchased, I received a phone call notifying me of this and was offered several options for resolution.
RJ and Forrest Excellent customer service and follow-up. I appreciate being able to call and have a real person answer the phone - highly unusual for an internet company.
I ordered a gift card while on holiday; it took me a while to clean up all of my mail and I finally realized that I hadn't received the gift card... before I had a chance to contact raise.com to ask about it, they had already noticed that the card hadn't been sent and issued the refund. WOW! I feel more confident that they have their act together and are working to make sure customers aren't ripped off... unlike giftcardspread which sold me a card which was used by someone else; even after I sent them the info about where and WHO used the card, they never answered my emails or investigated. Grrrrr. Use someone you can trust! - raise.com
They sent a refund to me even before I asked them to. So nice to do business with these people!
Walter is only the latest (of 3) customer service people who have given me a full refund when I had trouble with a gift card.
Walter was very efficient and fair.
Thank you
I don't think any other online company could match the customer service of Raise. The 100 day Money-Back guarantee is unbelievable. I have saved hundreds of dollars by using discounted gift cards. It is like buying something on sale every day. If you save 22% on a gift card, it is a real savings and not something advertised by a retail store. Just think, it can be added to a sale price, in-store coupon or even a military discount. There is no better shopping around.
Local merchants accepts gift cards which same you money
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
Answer: Susan, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Can you please send an email to member.success@raise.com with the email address associated with your account so that we can look into this for you?
