Prom girl will not refund
I found this review site after I had ordered a dress from PromGirl so was feeling a bit worried after reading so many negative comments. But I have to say my experience has been a positive one. My order was dispatched straight away and arrived 6 days later. The dress was exactly as I was expecting and the sizing was right.
I ordered a dress they sent on that had a big ripe in it. They has to see that before they shipped it but they did it anyway than I was going to get my money back because my daughter can't where it anyway and now I get a email they are sending me another dress that see cant where so now I'm going to have to send it back and again. I called them 4 times that day I got the first dress to make sure that is was going to get my money back and they said yes and now I get a email saying I'm getting a new dress. I will never order from here again. They suck they don't do what they say there will do and now they are going to keep 10 percent of my money and make me pay 8 dollars to ship it back that's bs. They missed up not me.

This was my second time ordering a dress from promgirl, the first time I was very pleased with the dress. This time I was very disappointed when I received this dress(Short Cap Sleeve Sequin Dress JU-MA-*******K), I order this dress according to the size chart. I measured myself and according to the size chart my size was 4, so I ordered size 4, and the dress is huge on me the shoulders are hanging and very baggy. I called them to see if they can give me a smaller size, but they did not have smaller sizes. The customer service told me that there is nothing they can do since it is final sale. I disagree, since this is their problem, the size chart is not accurate, I would never have gotten the dress in size 4, since I am between size 0 and 2, but because I used the size chart just to make sure I get the right size and I ended up with a dress 3 sizes larger (the measurements they show on chart for size 4 are bust-34.2; waist 27.5 and hips- 37.25, if this was the correct measurements for the dress, it would have fit me perfectly but it was not.)

I have a military ball to go to on the 26th of this month & was going to buy from here but after reading the reviews i will pass. Its to short of a time to have mistakes that i read just can't chance it but the dresses are really pretty on the site.

I love it! It was a perfect fit affordable and got here fast. The only downfall is that the zipper gets stuck but nothing is blocking it. Other then that it's perfect!
They contacted me a day after I placed my order to tell me that they no longer had it in my size, which is annoying because I think that kind of thing should be constantly updated. But they canceled my order and gave me a $20 off coupon, so I instead bought the same dress in a size up. It arrived on time and was in perfect shape. My only complaint really is that they don't update dresses on their website until someone orders it.

Allow plenty of time. The first dress they shipped was missing a neck clasp and when we opened the package, 6 rhinestones fell from the bag. Even if the rhinestones had stayed on the dress, the placement was not symmetrical! We had to send photos before they would give us a Return Authorization. Then, they sent the wrong RA (it was for SimplyDresses not PromGirl), and we had to re-request. Then they said they couldn't find the order number (duh, it was in the email with the pictures). Finally, we got an RA and returned the dress with the UPS label they provided. They said they's ship a replacement as soon as we dropped the dress to UPS. BUT, THEN, they asked for a tracking number -- turns out they used a duplicate tracking number so they didn't know we'd dropped the dress off (days go by...) FINALLY, we got a replacement with all of the right parts and symmetrical rhinestones. Good thing we had time to kill. I hope the rhinestones stay on for the dance! So, beware, they don't seem to have appropriate quality control! And then they don't keep good track of paperwork.

Evidently returns are only accepted within 7 days of arrival - no exceptions. After that, you are stuck with a horrible dress and wasted money. I was told to try to resell it on E-Bay when I called customer service. A 7-day return policy is absolutely rediculous. I will not purchase again from this company.

Ordered my dress April 11th, and it was set to ship the 27th and when I never received a confirmation email I reach out to the company. It was then that they informed me that the dress I had ordered nearly 2 weeks ago was sold out. Why had it taken 2 weeks for them to tell me they sold out? I had to pick out new dress options and all of them were sold out except one that $100 more than my orginal dress and still wouldnt $#*! till May 6th and my prom is on the 14th. We asked if they could give us courtsey overnight shipping since this screw up wasn't our fault and so we would have enough time to get it tailored but they told us that was not possible due to their policy. So in the end we had to spend another $30 on shipping for a dress that may or may not ship. Overall I can honestly say I have never experienced such a horrible service and I do not recommend Prom Girl to anyone unless you are looking extra added stress.

My daughter was in a bad car accident and has been homebound. She has had in home Physical Therapy and the HS even has a teacher coming to our house so that she can graduate on time. Bad enough she is missing her Senior year Prom! The dress has been hanging in my closet with the bag on it and the original tags!

I wanted to place an order I tried first with an America Express than Mastercard, on both orders their system declines the order as if there is an address problem in my credit card information which has nothing to do with it. These are my cards for years and I just made a shopping with one of then from Apple's site. Although they give an error message both transactions are debited from my credit cards. So many issues with the bank to credit it. Don't depend on this site... I don't recommend.

I ordered my prom dress on April 18th. I paid $17.00 for 3 day shipping and it was supposed to be here today, April 22nd. I called and gave them the tracking number and they JUST told me they ran out of stock and it'll be expected to ship on May 9th. Well, my junior prom is May 14th, so that won't work! I canceled my order and am waiting for the canceling process to go through so I get my $80.00 back. I'm going elsewhere; I'm never shopping there again. What a waste of time and money. And the worker on the phone was $#*!ty about it and wasn't even sincere or apologetic.
