I had a wonderful experience with PromGirl! I was also wary at first of getting a dress online, but once a friend told me she got something there and loved it, I decided to try it myself. I found my dream dress, and I purchased and received it in the mail in less than a week. It fit perfectly and the quality was amazing. I would definitely buy from here again for my next formal event! Disappointed as my daugher return a dress and now she is being told it cannot be found and an investigations is happening with UPS. We have order dresses for her on this site and she has kept them and service was great. Now that we had to return her dress and not getting another, we are having issues. Never have had this happen with any other online company we have return products to.
I ordered the dress my daughter had picked out, it arrived in the time stated and she loved it the minute she opened the box. And I will have to say, the dress is FABULOUS! This is a great site to buy awesome dresses at a great price. We will be using Promgirl.com many more times!
I love promgirl! That is the only place my family and I get all our dresses from. We have bought over 20 dresses and all have exceeded my expectation, they were all just as pictured and even better. The delivery is also great always comes very quickly. Love love love promgirl!
Watch out and do not order from this website. They ended up charging me $104 and I ended up with no dress. As usual with all the websites that I have purchased dresses I got 3 dresses to make sure they fit me well before buying them for my friend's wedding. All together they were around $1000 and I was hoping that at least one of them fit me well and then I could return 2 back. First of all dresses were nothing like the ones that they posted online. They looked and fit terrible and when I returned them the next day they told me that there is a 10% restocking fee. I have never had this experience plus they should write this in bold somewhere when the customer is trying to buy the dress. The only way people can buy online dresses is to try them in multiple sizes and forms. So this is the way they make money basically even if you end up taking one of the dresses you are still paying restocking fees for the sizes and the ones that you tried out. Also when the box came to my door it was all torn and I took a picture of it. The box was almost destroyed. So even their shipping and handling is terrible. I also had to pay $30 for express shipping as I wanted the dresses to arrive before the weekend. So $100 + $30 express shipping and they also charged $8 for shipping them back the return. It was horrible. All around it was the worst online shopping experience. They basically took a cost of a nice dress from me without giving me a dress.

We purchased a white dress for our daughters graduation and when we got the dress it was actually baby blue and white. We tried to return in the very day we got it... first we were told that we needed to send a picture of the full dress both front and back. When we finally got the return authorization there is a cost to return the dress for shipping as well as a 10% restocking fee! It states nothing on the return paperwork of all these processes and additional charges... LET THE BUYER BEWARE!

I received my four dresses for my daughters banquet. Unfortunately all of them were sized differently and did not work out for her. I knew the returns policy and restocking fee. All dresses were returned immediately in original condition with original tags and in original bags/ plastic wrap. Prom Girl chose to hold the return refund for one of the dresses saying "it had to go to inspection" with no known reason stated. The have basically taken my money and not provided either a refund or a garment at this time. I am seeking compensation. It has been 9 days and not response from them.

It said my package was delivered and everything, but I never received it. I've emailed them too about this issue and never got a reply back. Not a reliable website.

We ordered 2 dresses for an event that is taking place tomorrow evening. We knew we would keep one and send one back. My daughter picked one and I mailed one back. When she finally tried it on for me (after I sent the one back) I did not like it at all. Either the hook or the eye was missing. She did take the tags off of the dress however, it would pass inspection on never being worn as it was never worn. Now I am out $150 on top of the cost of the dress we did buy, from a local dress shop, that she will wear to prom tomorrow. I would never recommend this company to anyone and it appears that most of the reviews in this site are one star. Let it be a red flag.

I ordered dress and is exactly like on the photo. Quality is very good. Size can be a bit of confusion. I am USA size 6 and when i put my measurements on promgirl chart told me to order 12-13. My waist and hips size was 6-7 but my upper body was 12-13. So i figured out if i order 7-8 and squeeze in will be ok. So I order size 7-8 and fit perfect. I do not need to do any adjustments.

We ordered a full-length prom dress ~ expecting the hem to at least reach the floor of an average 5' 2" young woman. While the dress was appropriately sized in the waist, hips and bust area, the length was unusually short & the dress skirt did not touch the floor. Very awkward looking. We could not return the dress because it was a "final sale". No measurements from waist to floor were noted. Usually the length is something we can adjust by hemming because it is usually too long. This time nothing could be done because there was not hem allotment.

My daughter had an upcoming prom and I mean in like 7 days. Last dress we bought for a semi put a $485 hole in my pocket. That dress was ordered from a "boutique" in our area. When she said she was asked to prom I wasn't too excited as I knew what it would cost me.

We ordered a $140.00 dress with the 3 day express shipping. Box came later the next day! Dress was EXACTLY as pictured and fit her PERFECT!

When your a mom to a teen girl you know what I mean when I say they think nothing wrong of ordering something off any website. They have no concept of how much something is what bills you have to pay that month. When they need something its always last minute! I'm just grateful that next prom season won't cost a fortune as we will be ordering from PromGirl!
I had horrible issues with other companies that ruined my orders and treated me nasty. 5 days before my prom I was dressless and overly upset that this is what my senior prom was going to turn out to be. I found a dress and had a few questions about it, shipping, and sizing. I spoke to a live representative very easily and they lead me to the dress of my dreams. The dress shipped in 2 days and their fastest shipping costed only $30, I was amazed. Thank you promgirl, for saving my senior prom.

Per my conversation with Kelly this morning, I returned the dresses. I cannot jump through any more ridiculous hoops to try and get you to be fair to me, the customer! As I explained in emails, live chat, with photos and verbally - neither of the dresses were worn - 1 was canceled after it didn't ship in time and it arrived too late for the event and the other is damaged / deffective! If your excuse for shipping bad product and giving terrible customer service is that you are "protecting your business from your customer" you won't have any customers or a business to protect.
Promgirl made logistics mistakes (incorrect information about product availability and expected ship date, late shipping, allowing damaged/defective product to ship, etc) and countless customer service mistakes (conflicting information, bad information, the customer is wrong/bad before they're right/good mentality, protect yourself from the customer, difficult to work with, slow to respond, refusing to be fair, etc.).
I've done everything, according to Promgirl's terms of service and I've sent everything that Promgirl's customer service asked in order to receive fair treatment and a return authorization for both dresses. I am within my rights to expect a refund for these items.
Both dresses are on their way back to Promgirl, in the same condition I received them, in the same boxes with all of the order information. Neither of them were worn, as I stated. Neither of them or your service were of any use to me, your former customer. I will be issuing a dispute with my bank for the charges for those dresses - exactly and with tax.
I will share all of this experience with my friends and networks. I will not buy from Promgirl or any company affiliated with Promgirl, again. I will go out of my way to buy from your competitors and to make sure that I tell everyone about this experience and share all of the chats and emails and phone conversations hoping that no one ever has to wrestle for fairness, again.
