Too expensive. In many cases I can buy a designer or luxury tennis dress for less somewhere else. Far too many No Returns. As far as I'm concerned if I can't return it after trying it on and paying $250 dollars, I'll go elsewhere.
I have been buying and selling on Poshmark for over 6 months. I have had to get Money back with assistance of Poshmark which ended successfully. I have had 90% good experiences. The sellers I have had dealings with have represented their products accurately. I have learned to ask questions and check descriptions carefully. I am an honest seller I ship out in one day, I wish everyone else did this too. It is a great way to clean out your closet, hopefully those who are misrepresenting themselves will have the benefit of using this site will be removed.
As a seller it is very easy to get ripped off from a buyer using Poshmark! I a buyer makes a complaint and sends blurred images stating that they didn't get an item as claimed you can then get stuck without your item and without a payment. They didn't even give the complaining buyer my return address to send my item back! I'm pissed at their lack of proper customer care on both ends!
First of all you cannot get anyone on the phone because they do not offer that service. When you send an email you don't even get a response. I sold a pair of true religion jeans. I took a picture of the label so there would be no discrepancy about the size. The person who "bought" my jeans said the size does not fit her. So she told PoshMark that I did not report the size correct way. How can I be any more clear then taking a picture of the label? Now she is not going to pay for the jeans. Posh Mark will not respond to my emails so now I am with out my VERY EXPENSIVE jeans and my money. It is absolutely sickening that they're just allow someone to steal from honest people. Especially when their policy states that you cannot return because it just does not fit you
My problem with the app is that since they don't allow returns for buyers remorse or fit, some buyers are destroying items and stating that the item was sent to them like that & therefore was misrepresented in order to get their money back.
I had the worst experience with this company
Firs time they send me a fake brand not original lacoste polo shirts
And second time they took the money out of my account and did send me anything stay away from this app
I bought these shoes from a seller and the seller never shipped them. Eighteen days after purchase, they cancelled my order and relisted it for $40 more! Will never use Poshmark for purchasing anything. If I could give a 0, I would.
I sold a Gucci hat to a woman who then harassed me on the Poshmark site that it was the wrong size and said horrible things. I retaliated and then she proceeded to write something on all my listings. Poshmark accepted her return to me and she returned a completely different piece of junk hat. Poshmark will not answer my emails nor phone calls. I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and I'm going to take further action. Do not use this site.
Poor quality of clothes that I would not even give away to charity! Filed complaint about trying to return item even after having pictures that proved the bathing suit was stretched out and worn beyond measure. Poshmark did not stand behind their guarantee and would not refund my money. There is not one item I purchased that was good quality. I wasted my money and time. Stay away from this site. They are a rip off!
I placed an order with Poshmark back on December 6. I still have not had a confirmation for shipment of my products. I contacted customer service three times, on the third time they told me that they could not resolve the issue. I find their customer service to be totally inadequate and unhelpful. I will never shop with them again, as I hope this helps you in making a decision to shop with them as well.
After working for two days to list items on Poshmark, all items in my closet disappeared. Worst customer service. Takes days for them to respond with the most ridiculous emails that are of no help. Can't trust them and the audacity to delete your closet with an explanation. Trying sending a damn email or something, Poshmark. I worked very hard and did it all for nothing. You want 20% for doing what? Having the worst customer service? You really are a horrible company. Shame on you!
Made my first and last purchase with Poshmark. The item was never shipped. They did inform me of the problem but their web sight is a nightmare to communicate with. They say I will get a refund. We will see.
I signed up for poshmark. Ordered 6 items... Only 2 shipped. I have to wait two weeks for a refund. We should be able to see a sellers rating. Or even contact a seller directly. This site is pure $#*!..
I purchased sunglasses that were fake and broken. Sent clear pictures of the damaged item but their website is down and no way to contact customer service. They keep asking for more details and evidence. No way to get refund
I made one purchase for my wife this Christmas and I keep receiving unwanted emails. I've unsubscribed and written to the company, with no relief. Even when I place the email in SPAM, I still receive emails. The only way you can write a review is to create an account and their Facebook page does not allow any feedback.
There is no way to directly message someone. When you put a message up it's for everyone. While I'm waiting on the seller to message me back the next day someone buys it because she dropped the outfit down for me. I didn't even know. This is useless and a waste of time especially when you don't have another one available. I'm having to lose out because of poshmark's notification system.
I purchased a dress and when I received I found the dress had been altered. The straps were shortened by 2 inches. This dress was listed as a size 12. No mention of alteration. When I wanted to return or get a refund in amount to return straps to the standard size that I ordered and was listed in description I was denied. So buyer beware. Now I am out extra alteration fees and would have been better off shopping at TJ Maxx.
We bought two purple Kashmira blow out brushes this year. When the first one we bought in March died, we bought another in October. It also just died 2 months later. A warranty of 7 days from Kashmira or 3 from Poshmark, who we bought it from, is insufficient. I strongly recommend you use Amazon if you feel you must have this product. We have moved on to another manufacture and seller after wasting a few hundred bucks this year with Kashmira and Poshmark. Poshmark deserves it low rating.
I ordered a size medium shirt that was supposed to have a bust size of 36 to 38 inches, the shirt itself measured 31 inches in the bust but Poshmark refused a return for the item not as described. They also block you from resolving with the seller. Scam business.
I was a new seller and sold 2 items and got one 5-star rating and 1 love note. But soon after I got 2 emails from Poshmark claiming that I had 2 listings "counterfeit or authenticity cannot be guaranteed" and 1 "warning" email. The language was awful. They did not ask me to provide more pictures to prove and of course, they could not prove that my items were fake. To stop more emails like this from coming, I immediately deleted my account. I spent a lot of my time and energy on creating 41 listings. Their customer service did not care, did not help. My emails were not replied! I am a former BBC manager [I doubt if Poshmark staff know what BBC is at all] and also worked as a copyright executive. I know about this stuff. But I was appalled by the way they treated me, the language they used, so I deleted the account straight away. If you don't care how you are treated by their customer service, go for it.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
