Several times Sellers never bothered to ship items when I made the purchase. What a joke. Oh, I didn't get the message. Nonsense. I've never sent an insulting offer and purchase outright. There is no ability to communicate privately. More importantly, PM shipping fees too high. There is no 1st class for small or lightweight items and PM hiked $6.49 as their shipping costs. Any shipping discounts solely lands on the poor Seller who is already selling at low prices to compete. PM raking in the dough on shipping fees and selling fees. PM is also always pressuring Sellers to lower their already low prices. Going back to solid eBay with a 24/7 customer support center. PM treats their sellers like children.
I ordered product from Poshmark, and it was never delivered. I emailed Poshmark customer support many times, and no one ever responded. They do not have a customer service phone number so that you can talk with an actual person to get resolution. They have charged my credit card, and I'm still having trouble getting refunded, because Poshmark customer service never responds to any of my emails. I strongly advise against using Poshmark!
Poshmark makes it very difficult for buyers who receive the wrong item. They make buyers jump through all kinds of hoops in order for them to approve a refund (they don't even give the buyer an opportunity to receive the originally purchased item). They are awful and after having been a good customer I will be taking my business elsewhere... I advise not even getting started with them.
If you like to gamble then this is your place. It is a guessing game if you will like your purchase. My very first order was perfect. I was hooked! Next order was a total let down. Next order I gave my honest review which was not hateful just truthful and I was blocked by the seller! What idiot says no to a sell? Over time some stuff is good but most is not. My husband who is clueless about clothes has made me throw out most things purchased because they look like something you would get at a garage sale he said. Use caution and go to Vegas if you like taking chances. At least you will have more fun there!
Poshmark truly takes way too much money for what they provide! So many fakes on it yet they take down true Desinger items! OMG I am in shock! 20% taken and charging way too much to ship small items! It's a joke!
A crazy posher soiled the item I sent her and tried to blame it on me. She's posting my home address all over the app and Poshmark is doing absolutely nothing to stop this or even prevent nuts from using the app.
I have been selling with poshmark for over a year. I absolutely love this site and it makes me sad that so many people are having problems. I had one instance where an item was never received due to the post office and postmark paid both me and gave the buyer their money back. My friends and family use this app to buy designer products and have never faced any problems. I do agree that their prices for shipping are quite outrageous now. I have seen a decrease in selling due to these prices.
Poshmark is one of the best social marketplaces I have ever registered in. Anytime I had an issue they helped me kindly. They do care about the people and they support you for your products. Just register now to see if I'm telling you the truth.
I tried to buy off of this site twice. BOTH times I was messaged by the seller multiple days after my purchase to inform the the item didn't exist and have my money refunded. Since I actually like getting things when I choose to buy them, I stopped wasting my time with this garbage site. Clothes seem to be overpriced for what they are as well. Prob because poshmark takes one of the biggest cuts of any resale site. Anyway, great site if you like wasting your time.
I have purchased 5 items off of Poshmark and so far so good! A lot of the items I have bought are either new with tags or gently used and they were almost identical to what was pictured and arrived in a timely manner. I don't understand why Poshmark is getting such a bad wrap? I LOVE IT! It's been a great way for me to find the brands I love without paying full price. I am also aware of the items being sold though- I look at the sellers profile, take a look at the other items they have sold too. If something isn't showing well for example - a dress being laid out on an old floor or on a gross mattress, or the photo of the item appears blurry - I don't buy it. Some of the sellers on here definitely appear to be sketchy, but I am pretty aware of consignment clothes since I have done my share of both buying and selling in the past. Just be mindful!
I realized most reviews are from buyers so I decided to put one in as a seller (even though I did but a few items on the site). Make sure to buy from a reputable seller, one who has a sold item history on their wall and has more then one five star love note if they had sold at least ten items. There are a lot of sellers to just sell a few items in their closet, and some sell it for such a tiny fraction of the cost, so you can get a super awesome deal. HOWEVER, you will also be at risk for slow shipping, unspecified defects on the item, and scammers, so it is a risk (I did buy some awesome deals and they where exactly as described with fast shipping, so this doesn't happen very often!) If you do find a reputable seller on Poshmark, it is a way more fun experience then Ebay... many sellers (like me) love to package items like Christmas gifts and throw in extra freebies inside! :D
For my birthday of this year, I bought some things on posh mark&everything seemed fine&I was happy with my purchases, until my bank informed me that some of the charges looked suspicious, because there were 3-4 for the exact same amount(example: 3 charges for 39.09), when I had only bought one thing per seller. My bank opened a dispute against them&got my money back in September&I have not nor will I ever, shop on posh mark again. But yesterday, they took money (around $200.00, out of my account, basically implying that because I'd received the items that it was OK for them to take the money they'd ripped me off for, back! Whether I'd gotten the items was never in dispute, but now they've stolen my money... again! I beg of you, please do NOT trust them! Please don't learn the lesson I had to, the hard way.
Poshmark does not have any interest in protecting the rights and property of sellers, yet allows buyers to publicly attack sellers (i have been called a low life, have a meaningless and pitiful life, a psycho, told to get help etc, which poshmark allows and enables). Buyers will flat out lie about the stuff they receive if they dont like it, and poshmark allows it to happen. Poshmark allows copyright infringement, harrassment, cyber bullying and does not intervene other than to enable those doing it. This is hands down the worst social platform i have ever experienced. What a defeating and mean place to be on.
I ordered a red colour saree worth Rs. 700/-. On 17th Jan 2022. But it has not been yet it's 24th Jan 2022 today. No confirmation mail nothing. There contact support is also ridiculous I have not got any reply from there end being raised complaint several times from my end. I need my refund. ASAP.
Poshmark is great until you have a problem. As many others have already stated the customer service is virtually non-existent.
As a seller I give Poshmark an F. There is ZERO protection for sellers against unethical buyers who can easily return items for little to no reason other than buyers remorse. There have even been cases where the purchaser has destroyed an item in order to return it (I implore you to Google seller reviews and read the horror stories before you decide to start selling on their site). If a buyer opens a case against you as a seller you have zero opportunity to present evidence or dispute their claims.
In fact, you don't even have a clue as to why the case is being opened as Poshmark does not allow you to view what the allegations are.
You just have to hope all of your buyers are honest. For such a high sellers fee you'd think the customer service would be a little better.
I sell a Halloween cat ears on Poshmark in perfect condition, the buyer bought it and break down everything, all the ears were damaged. I received the package back and send the evidences to Poshmark, they don't even read it and gave her full refund. 0% respect on sellers and treat you like $#*!
They allow a lister to misrepresent measurements (3" off!) and then refuse to refund the money. I have used
Other resales such as Thread Up and Ebay and this is not in their league. I posted an honest assessment of
Seller and they removed it. I am out purchase price for an item I cannot wear.
I was sent an item that was broken, missing a key part and instruction manual. It was clearly a returned or used or open box item. After lodging a complaint, Poshmark applied a partial refund credit to my Posh account. Well, I'd much prefer cash since I don't plan to do business with this company again.
Do NOT buy things here. I purchased a vintage concert T-shirt as a gift for $140. It was so tiny, it was laughable. Poshmark would NOT allow a return. Their position is I "should have asked more questions." What a joke. Will NEVER order here again.
I bought a purse that was advertised as Ralph Lauren and leather. It was neither. I showed the purse to two local retailers who sell Ralph Lauren and they both confirmed in a written letter that it was indeed counterfeit. I submitted these letters, along with photos of the obvious fake purse, to Poshmark, but they still refused to refund my money. This whole process took a good month, mind you, since it takes them 2 days to respond to an email and there is no phone support. Luckily, I bought the purse with a credit card, so I filed a dispute through the credit card company and got my refund that way.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
