On June 22,2021 I ordered a pool skimmer from Pools Unlimited. It is now Sept. 27,2021 and I have not heard a word from them nor the $121.25 they quickly charged my credit card in June. I have tried calling them repeatedly and get a recorded message, blah, blah, blah. Every attempt has failed and now I think I have been scammed after reading all the negative reviews. Foolish me.
Lying to get the sale! Prior to placing my order for a pool heater, I verified with them they had it in stock. Due to several other companies not, I verified with them TWICE!
I placed my order on March 23,2021 and they have not shipped an "in stock" item.

Ordered a pool filter setup from their site. Ended up being on back order for about 2 months. No follow up email from them explaining the filter was on back order. 2 weeks ago I email support asking about a status on my order. 3 days later I get a response from their customer support stating that my pool filter has been sitting with the freight company and wont be delivered until I pay storage fees. I call delivery company and they state the shipper (Pool Supply Unlimited) did not pay the storage fees. Customer support blames me even though I never received a email with tracking or when I was receiving the item. On top of all this they send someone to my home to pick up the pool filter and I never received it. As of today I receive a refund on the pool filter minus a $195 restock fee. STAY CLEAR of this company. Terrible follow up. I am not the only one complaining about their customer service. Look on Google for others complaining.
I purchased a mini refrigerator from this establishment online wanting to support a small business and it was a HUGE mistake. When the fridge it was delivered, it was damaged. I contacted the support team by email and did not receive a response back for four days. I emailed them again, immediately got a response from a Joe Hamassian who said they would have to contact the claims department. After writing a response, he called me. He was incredibly rude and I had to call him out on it. The resolution was to have UPS pick it up, and once they did, another one would be shipped out. So I packed it up, UPS picked it up the next morning. When I contacted Joe to tell him that it was picked up, he told me he had to wait for UPS to credit them before they could ship out another one although he had confirmed UPS picked it up. Whatever that means. A week went by and they did not ship out another. When I repeatedly asked when the new one would be shipped out, his response was: " I know it's easier to blame us but unfortunately that's how it works. If you'd like, purchase the fridge elsewhere we will refund you…"
Disgusting response. Terrible experience. Never buy from this company expecting customer support.
Took them 3 weeks to give me my money back and completely wasted my time. Bought it from Amazon, it was cheaper and arrived in 2 days. Next time you should take care of your customer and ship out the product immediately if the customer isn't happy, especially if you have confirmation that the product was picked up by UPS.
I ordered a salt cell--they charged my credit card, then a few days later they sent me an email saying it was backordered, and they had no idea when it would be back in stock. I called,, spoke to Stanley and was told this is their standard practice, and they would refund the credit card charge. It has been 2 days and I have gotten NO confirmation of refund from PoolSupplyUnlimited, or my credit card company. Taking your money and knowingly not having the merchandise seems the definition of fraud. I certainly will not risk dealing with these guys again!

Poor customer service. No one answers phone and no return phone call after leaving 6 messages over the past 2 months.
First of all we spent over $ 1100 on a pool kit WITH a skimmer. It took weeks to arrive but we understood because of Covid. So we had weeks to prep the ground. The ground was level and clean next 2 inches of masonry sand again clean. Covered the area with black 6 mil plastic we carried the liner to the center and started assembly pool has no skimmer I wasn't happy but our grandsons had already waited to long so I decided to use it anyway. Started to fill the pool and it leaked from a seam on the bottom one more thing to fix. As for the skimmer customer service said we would receive a refund a week later they put $75 back on our card and pulled it right back out WHAT THE HELL. MY POINT IS DON'T BUY FROM THEM. They do not care about customer service after they get your money
The salt cell has a 3 year warranty, first one lasted almost a year, 2nd 8 months. The customer service at pool supply unlimited is a joke. The phone goes to voice mail. I have called for weeks no response. Emails not returned. Don't make the mistake I did with this company.
I'm so upset that I used this company, I order a part for my pool and paid $137 for overnight shipping I ordered it Thursday and is arriving Monday, called the customer service and the gentleman didn't care told me it was my own fault for ordering it in the afternoon and nothing he can do about it, wouldn't issue a refund. I purchased a Kreepy Krauly Kruiser suction side pool cleaner on June 6th. Arrived June 8th. Installed in the pool next day. Turned the pump on. Cleaner makes contact with pool bottom surface, and sticks. Will not walk around the pool. Contacted Pentair, and same thing after setting the pump rpms to 1800, what their tech support said to do. Also removed two of the hose sections, again what tech support said to do. Nothing changed. Cleaner will not move.
I did make note of the contents of the box when I opened it. The plastic wrappers for all of the contents were not in the factory un-broken shape. They had all been opened. Looks like this cleaner had been shipped and returned at least once previously.

I was told I would receive a call in 10 minutes, but they never called. When I finally got through to the company via telephone, Debbie took no ownership for never calling. Also, in spite of the company sending me the wrong pool, Debbie blamed this on the warehouse and took no ownership of the wrong pool being sent. She then told me that she would not be able to email the warehouse until Monday or Tuesday and was unwilling to give me any information about when the correct pool would be sent to us. Because it took 2 months to get the pool in the first place, and we live in New England where summer is 3 months long, I asked for a refund so I could purchase a pool from a local store with a good reputation. Debbie refused to refund me for the pool and stated nothing could happen until she spoke with the warehouse on Monday or Tuesday. She was rude, condescending, and non helpful. The business is impossible to communicate with both via telephone, online chat, and email. Their customer service is actually the worst I have ever experienced. The company is also INCREDIBLY disorganized and unprofessional. I will leave this review everywhere where people can read reviews, as I would like to save everyone from the awful experience we have had.
I bought my pool back in early April 2021. I have tried to contact Pool Supply Unlimited with both email and by phone repeatedly and can not get 1 single returned call or email. I was told an additional 2-4 weeks by your company to receive the pool via email a few days after ordering it. I have never in my life dealt with such an unethical company as Pool Supply Unlimited. Glad I put up new privacy fence also and had family in town for Memorial day. Sure would have been nice to have my pool, you had no problem charging me for it day 1. I will never recommend this company to anyone after dealing with this. Send me my pool.
Purchased a salt-pool chlorinator from them as it was best price I found. Now, two weeks after cashing my payment they still have not even shipped it. Excuse: virus is delaying things. Really? I ordered a slide for my pool back in November and was told it would ship within 75 days. I received an email that the slide and and hardware had shipped. Much to my surprise the only item that had been shipped was the hardware even though the email said both items shipped. I contacted the company and informed them that only the hardware was delivered. They checked and informed me that the slide would ship by end of month Jan. I waited until early February 10 and called again and was told that the slide would be shipped in a couple of week and if it didn't to give them a call. I waited another month and contacted them again only to find out this time that the slide was on back order and no lead time as to when it might be delivered. My pool is to be installed in April so I asked for a refund. They refunded the money for the slide but didn't initially refund my money for the hardware. When I inquired as to why there was no refund for the hardware that obviously was no use to me, I got the following email in return.
"There is no need to continue threatening us with bad reviews. All you needed to do was talk to me with any issues. We don't need to keep your money, trust me. I have submitted a return to have the flange kit sent back. I will also send you a return label so you don't have to pay anything. When the flange kit arrives back, then the remaining balance will be refunded. I'll be in touch."
After months of doing all of the leg work to find out about my slide I was frustrated that not one time was anybody out front and informing me. They are good at taking your money for payment but after that... keep up with it yourself. In all my years of working in public and owning my own business I would NEVER tell a consumer that I didn't need their money. Good thing for Pool Supply that they will NEVER get a dime of my money ever again.

My pool cover started to delaminate after 2 seasons. I followed the warranty process and they delivered a new cover without any hassles or issues. I'm very pleased with Pool Supply Unlimited and use them often for my pool needs.
Pool supply did a good job. Item was shipped and delivered via reputable courier in a timely fashion. The problem was with the actual item ( pool heat pump-electric) did not work after it was installed. Try to complete the online warranty which was to be for a year only got 3 months. Called and got warranty as proper for a year, however now it was September and pool was closed. So now I'm in limbo to see if a technician will be able to get this working next spring. Who knows? Whether it will work or be covered by the warranty?
Answer: Is apparently a legit company, but does have sleazy business practices. They charge your credit card even if they do not have the merchandise, or even know when it will be available. After cancelling order because of this, I am STILL waiting for refund. I believe that is fraudulent behavior!
