I bought a chair for my home office from here in March and by July it had become completely useless(back kept reclining further & further). They have so far failed to respond to multiple e-mails and calls. Terrible customer service.
Ordered a chair on on Tuesday with next day delivery, three days on still waiting for the product. Called the customer service and was advised to wait 3 more days before they can re-send the product. The tracking number given doesn't even register on the courier's website, needed the chair urgently, very disappointed.
Constantly failing to deliver on their promises - Was promised again on Monday (7th day after the initial order) that the chair would be with me by Tuesday/Wednesday, just had an email saying that now the manufacturer has an issue and it wont be delivered as promised and I can order an alternative chair - When called to ask what options I have as an alternative the chap on the phone advised that the sales team is not picking up the phone... absolute joke, no one has any sense how to resolve a query in a way that it doesn't stress the hell out of the unfortunate customer who made the mistake of ordering something from your business!
This is a second chance i gave this company and it was the last. I ordered a desk online which was listed as ready for next day delivery just to receive the email the next day that it will be 2-3 weeks before I can get it. After changing colour of the legs, the item was delivered quicker but once we opened it, it was 400mm wider then we've ordered. Company first demanded £75 for return but when we complained they refused to deal with our request. I would not recommend using the company. I definitely wont.
Bought an office chair to use at home. The metal connecting the base to the chair snapped after 13 months of light use. I contacted Office furniture online as it is clearly a manufacturing fault. I was advised that they only offer a warranty for 12 months and as it was 13 after purchase they were not interested. I am disappointed in both the quality of the item and the lack of customer service.
Appalling service. The office chair arrived damaged in September. I reported it immediately with pictures and was promised replacement parts. It's now late November and no parts have arrived. Every week they say they will arrive next week. They are refusing a refund as 2 mo the later I don't have the original box. Please avoid this company

I ordered a chair from these guys back in January 2023 with a 3 year warranty and used it as a chair... not a resting post.
The headrest on the chair snapped off whilst I was sitting on it. I raised a warranty case, and Office Furniture Online's response was to suggest that I had been subjecting my chair to extreme circumstances. They would not fulfill my warranty case and had the balls to request me to pay to fix the case that their product had caused.
Terrible customer service. If your furniture breaks, do not expect any help from Office Furniture until you pay more for a product you have already bought!
Never will I use this company again. I placed an order for over £600 with them on the promise that it would be delivered either one day or two days after placing the order. Everything was fine. Until the day of delivery. The company were supposed to phone 30mins before delivery but they didn't. When I phoned at 3.30pm to see when they would be delivering I was told that they are now not going to be delivering. The customer service person was worse than useless saying that I could not have a refund. He would also not call the delivery company to find out the problem of why they would not deliver but would have to do it by email, despite the fact that he just phoned them to find out where they were. Please please do not touch this company, you have been warned.
AVOID. Wish I could give 0 stars. Spent £190 on a chair. But it took ma few weeks to assembled and test. Has a mark on it. And the headrest wobbles and is useless. I also find it extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Their customer service team found any excuse for me not to exchange it.
I think a cactus would be more comfortable and I will have to try and sell it. AWFUL EXPERIENCE, CHAIR AND COMPANY, AVOID AVOID AVOID
I absolutely never review purchased items. This represents true value for money. No regrets what so ever. Saved me 100's of pounds. Only started having late night studies after getting this. Thanks guys.
"Delivery did not turn up"
I am currently spitting nails. Persuaded by their website which says "We want to make sure our customers receive their goods as fast as possible! Huge investments in distribution and warehousing means that Office Furniture Online can offer an unrivalled nationwide rapid despatch service on furniture products." I ordered a desk. 3 weeks later, nothing has arrived.
In all fairness, after I wrote to the MD I did get a call from them to say that my desk would be delivered today, but still nothing. 5.30 on a Friday... and I have better things to do than hang around an office waiting for furniture to be delivered. They rely on third party suppliers, and third party distributors and appear to have no quality control over the level of service of either. I would find it very hard to recommend this outfit now, even if they have been let down by their distributors. It is me they have let down.
Ordered a £300 full mesh desk chair which was delivered the next day. Assembled it and tried it out. Very uncomfortable and gave me back pain. Rang office furniture to try to return item but they refused, saying no return policy.
Buying a full-mesh desk chair in a high street furniture shop is just not possible as they simply don't stock them, so I had no choice really but to order one online.
I'm regretting that decision now.
Edit: Despite not hearing back from customer services, unexpectedly a replacement chair turned up today so I've given them a second star. I actually want a refund not a replacement as the back is hinged with no locking mechanism so not what I expect from an ergonomic chair. I have the right to return the chair but as mentioned below there is no returns information so I'm now back to waiting to hear from them. If they sort this out I'll give them another star. Watch this space.
I ordered an office chair. The box came promptly but all internal boxes had been opened and resealed and the chair appeared to be a previous return. I immediately contacted customer services and got a reply asking for photos. That, unfortunately was the last I heard from them. Several emails later and being on hold for days at a time I haven't got through to them again. In the end, deciding I would have to keep the chair, I assembled it, only to find it is faulty. There is no returns information which is against the law, as there is a right to refusal and return. I have reported this to Trading Standards.

This is the most ridiculous online business i have ever seen in my life.
Order placed on 09/07/2020. 4 pieces on total, 2 with next day delivery, other 2 with economy because we didn't need them urgent.
On 15/07/2020 no delivery or email. After i sent email, most absurd customer support email comes back,"Your order is currently on hold as it was noticed that you had selected 2 different types of delivery"
They put the order on hold(still no idea why) and no update, no email or no call. No follow up or nothing.
After that so many emails back and forth, no idea how many times we said we want the order and they still sending non-sense support email with ZERO solution.
On 4th of August, still no delivery we paid next day for. And when i said, refund my next day delivery if you cant deliver next day, they say NO.
Some customer support lessons for you, it is FREE
- If you cant deliver next day, stop charging people next day.
-If you put an order on HOLD inform customer via email or phone.
-Learn how to follow up with pissed off customers.
- Stop sending non-sense support emails to your customers.
Most useless online business, do not deal with them!

Delivery dropped on a pallet (to be expected) HOWEVER, pallet was left ON THE ROAD. My wife attempted to refuse the delivery due to its location, the driver then proceeded to sign his little machine and walk away completely ignoring my wife. AS CONSUMERS WE HAVE RIGHTS TO REFUSE DELIVERIES AND THIS WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM US BY THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a small cabinet which came in flat pack but on a huge pallet. Driver unloaded pallet and refused to take it away with him. Customer services staff and manager both very arrogantly told me they would not collect it and it was my problem. Neither the sales process or delivery information on their website states a pallet may be left with the product. I have ordered alot of furniture from other companies in the past and never had this issue. AVOID!
Do not waste your time, first order badly damaged then replacement came which was more damaged then the first! Now stuck with two broken desks waiting to be collected
I ordered a desk 3 months ago and despite me sending several emails asking about the status of my package, I have received nothing but a tracking number. The tracking number has proven useless since the shipping company says it does not exist. I recently sent an email to their customer service address explaining that I wanted to cancle my order along with a full refund. They never responded, but something sketchy did happen within the app that I use to track all packages from eBay, Amazon etc... Previously, the app said the desk was being sold to me by officefurniture.com, nothing surprising there but after I sent the email asking for a refund the name changed to the name of my school board. The tracking number is the exact same as it was for the desk. I do not know what is going on, I wish someone would just let me know, and give me back my $200 that they practically stole from me.
In the pictures it gives the option to visit the store or view my order. If I click either of them it takes me to the page where something went wrong.

I purchased online for my friend but I tend to return it because of the poor quality. I tried to call them but they never called me back. I am willing to provide my a copy of my email conversation
The chair arrived on time (very quickly) and was easy to put together. I had hoped that I wouldn't need to attach the arms of the chair, but the style of the assembley makes this impossible. Also, the pillow filling compresses when you sit on it, which is not comfortable long term - I have taken to sitting on an extra pillow. Otherwise, I was satisfied - I thought it was good value for money.
