This site was ok it did the job.The builder was very good but try as I might I could not leave him feedback!
I've used it several times and have usually found the tradesmen reliable apart for one time when I had an issue with the work done and was uable to contact the guy..
Very easy site to use covering every type of trade, and best of all, once you have selected the trade person you want, they actually turn up to carry out the job.
Very easy site to use posted a couple of jobs on and found some good trades people who did a great job
My builder posted the job I required doing and provided the guy who completed this, he arrived on time and was a pleasant amiable person.
I found using Mybuilder easy and handy when you don't know where to start. I was able to describe what I wanted with ease and they were able to supply several options quite quickly and easily. Once more giving a guide on what to look for and the price; I found invaluable. I will continue to use them in future.
This site is easy to use and we got very quick responses to our ad.and very good local tradesmen, would definitely recommend using the site.

Has gone downhill
I have posted a range of jobs for 3 years now but nowadays I get a text from the big headed person who clicks approve or decline to question my job
This has happened NOT once by at least twice now.
For one posted job, I needed a general skilled handyman to fit carpet AND paint a wall - This is something one person can do if he has the skills which is not uncommon.
But the MyBuilder admin person decided to split the job creating two posts - and duplicating work for me by dealing with queries from double the amount of people - making it inconvenient for me.
She changed it later but what an unecessary hassle
The admin people should just do their job and instead of messing with posted jobs - this is losing the company business as today, I have requested to have my account deleted.
I have appointed about 7 people throughout the 3 years of having my account and also always answered calls from shortlisted people.
Have been a good user but am taking my business elsewhere due to the treatment by admin (tricia and others)
My jobs are varied as its a building project. I dont thinks the admin should get too big for their boots
I have enough experience and intelligence to have discussions with those shortlisted and ascertain for myself if they have the required skills or not and you can see via my account there where I have hired, I have tended to give 100% feedback.
I dont see how you are helping by screening out posts - you are hindering. Just let the homeowner or the OP decide how they wish to proceed
I would not describe what you are doing as enhanced at all nor does it matter to me what your other customer feedback is. I have been a Mybuilder user for over 3 years and my opinion counts and is real that I would hope will caution other users.
None of you in the admin team have any building trade experience so really just approve the job unless there is something offensive contained or a violation of the rules.
Also, it is unusual that MyBuilder offers no route to make a complaint
This is an amazing platform giving a wide range of professionals. Even though it makes it hard to choose, it is yet a good thing to have so many options available. There is also a fast response procedure meaning you can get someone even on an emergency level.
Every time when I need a tradesman I reach my builder. It is great to find a professional quick and easy. It's literally the best website ever. So helpful and for people who don't know any tradesmen it's fantastic. Highly recommend it to everyone
I've now posted three jobs on mybuilder 1plastering and 2 electric. Have been pleased with the response from the various tradesmen that have got in touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the plasterer and the second electrician they both did very good jobs. Wasn't particularly happy with the first electrician his work was safe enough but I wasn't happy with the way he left part of the job. So make sure you read the feedback from other customers.
Apex Construction has done great work on our property: first, Ben and Ashley built us a new chimney, and now they are working on a lovely reclaimed brick garden wall for us. We look forward to greeting Ben and his team every day that they are here, as they are a total pleasure to have around. They also are extremely neat and clean, and don't leave messes behind for others to clean up. I should add that, prior to locating them via the internet, we had never heard of them and knew none of them. And now we feel as though not only have we met great contractors, but, even better, we've met some really delightful, wonderful people! So, thanks, Kelly, Ben, Ashley, Will, and Les (the leader of "the clan") (and thanks to little George, too, for stopping by!):-)
Ben is a lovely guy and a thoroughly professional worker. We discussed the problem by phone, he knew what was needed and arranged for the job. He was on time and courteous. He explained what he was going to co and made a good job of it. I shall certainly use him again.
Great service and very reasonable on price, D&C Damp Proofing, very professional, and honest, Dean, completed my job to a high level of standard, cannot fault them.

Easy to use site got me responses very quickly and I got a tradesman to do what was required within a couple of days
We have used my builder several times and the tradesmen we have contacted we have found to be competent and fairly priced. We like the fact that you can see reviews of the tradesmen before asking them to quote
I needed an electrician and a boiler check carried out in a hurry. I received responses very quickly and was very pleased with both tradespeople I used. They were professional and reasonably priced.
I was incredibly lucky to get JB Flooring to help me out. As soon I have put my job request on My builder site Jake contacted me. He is very professional, he really knows his job. He did lot of extra work for us because lot of our carpets needed re-stretching. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I would highly recommend him.
Excellent service I have been getting various Workmen advertised on My Builder website for various work ifor my properties. Most of the workmen are good and professionals.
