Great couple of guys did the job in a day. Very happy with the service. Removed old wooden posts and fence. Replaced with concrete posts and gravel boards worked fast and hard in the rain to get the job done.

Cheap Builder. 4 Bed 2 bath, 2 car garage.

3. Lot was not graded properly to allow rain water to flow away from home. Builder refused to fix.
4. Cabinet door was striped, they fixed it with a piece of wood.
5. Exterior garage concrete slab was sloped towards house and not dropped several inches, when it rained the water would come into garage. In progress of being fixed after 3 months.
6. Walls were not textured
7. $500 fixture budget. You cant buy features for a 4 bedroom 2 bath, dining, living and kitchen lights at $500.

THESE GUYS FITTED MY CARPET AND LAMINATE AND DONE A FANTASTIC JOB. VERY WELL PRICED, SO I WOULD 100 % RECOMMENDED THESE TO ANYONE. AND THEY WILL BE BACK TO FUNISH THE REST OF MY FLAT WHEN DECORATED
Ive had my own building company for 40 years and I help women learn a trade and when they feel ready they go out alone. Now I've suggested companies like Checkatrade and rated but with my builder they never get accepted now this is not the first time a women trade been rejected from my builder. I've been there when doing the my builder test answer question but the next day told sorry you're application not accepted … why she answered the question right so it only makes me feel that they are against women in the trade no other answer that I can think of.
My home buying experience with Meritage Homes has been an unpleasant one to say the least. I recently closed on my home in Parkview East in Lilburn, Ga. One day after move-in, 2 of my toilets overflowed as the shower was being used. The overflow caused major water damage on the 1st floor of the house. Hallway Plumbing, admittedly forgot to remove the ball float instrument used to measure the water system. Since there was so much water damage, a water restoration rep had to rip up the carpet, base boards, and hardwood floors. They also placed dehumidifier fans for 3 days to dry the water, but the fans pushed a significant amount of dusk particles from the slab on our brand new furniture. Once the rep basically ripped out the entire first floor, Meritage Homes, Hallway Plumbing, and the Water Restoration were not aligned on setting up a date for re-installation.
My family that includes 2 young children have not been able to use the first floor during this process. My overall experience with Meriatge Homes has been a poor one. I normally never write reviews, but this poor quality of service constituted one. We were excited to close on our home, but this issue has been a huge inconvenience and huge damper to our experience. This inconvenience totally ruined the experience and memories for myself and my family.
Meritage Homes has agreed to fix these issues, but when and how fast is the question! At this point, they have offered no compensation for this inconvenience, but the lack of sense of urgency is what's most disappointing.
J and M Plastering I were a joy to deal with. So helpful. They project managed the job as I. Couldn't get down to Eastbourne as I have Parkinson's. They hacked off old render put new rendering on painted it. Arranged soffits downpipes etc. Also kept me informed all the. Way along and sent me photos. I would
Highly recommend this firm.
Mybuilder is great for securing work, can't fault it. However the feedback function can undo all your hard work with a few disgruntled customers - I mean we all want to be perfect in this world but keeping up 100% job rating is stressful and doesn't reflect reality.
My view as a buisness of mybuilder is my builder are the only winners oh and the customers as it costs nothing. Tradesmen pay a shortlist fee( as many as 3 people pay the fee)rip off. Heres an idea for the owner of mybuilder. Have a job won fee where the client clicks a selected trades person and that person only pays the fee. Then it's fair.
I dont think mybuilder is good for any tradesman or women. Expensive and a lot of leads are priced by some dimwit that thinks
An extension job worth 40k can have the samish shortlist price as skimming a couple of room laughable they know nothing about job values imo. Dont use get your own work in another way.
Very punctual and reliable. Very good workman and very tidy. Competitive prices. All round Nice chap
Great communication, reliable and looks fantastic, lots of admiring comments from neighbours. Would recommend.
I am pleased to write an excellent reference on behalf of Gary Townley who repaired our wooden porch door and painted the new wood. The old wood had rotted in places and the repair looks like new. He was prompt and efficient and I would recommend him to others without hesitation.
Steve was very quick to respond to our email. He was punctual and did a great job laying our sun room floor. He was a skilled and tidy workman who cleared up any mess made.
We would highly recommend Steve for you tiling needs.

It's for customer service. Shortlist fees. Are some fake jobs offers l! Customer add you on shortlist never pick up the phone! If you report to mybuldier they don't care about it!
Don't even try to verify it just sent you an invoice but in rules said totally different store! Shem on you! I did contact with mybuldier customer service. They said they don't care. I'm sure it's not only me... I think mybuldier open fake account just to rip you off. Added you as a shortlist but never pick up the phone. It's not happen once it's happening all time. After reported to customer service they don't do anything to help you.
After struggling using other sites to find reliable tradesman, this site came up trumps. The site was very easy to use. We had multiple jobs we needed doing so had to post our requirements separately but it was easy to do. Within hours we were given a number of tradesmen to review. Each had a profile making our selection easier. The whole process from then on was slick and the tradesmen we used were of good quality and quoted reasonable prices. We have since recommended both the site and one of the tradesman to friends and family. We will be using the site again.
I found Unicorn Construction very hardworking, they laid a New Lawn for me, really good quality turf and they dug all roots and turned old soil over and put down good quality top soil. I am really pleased and would recommend Will & Barry hardworking guys. Thank You 3rd August 21.
I had a disaster with a solid concrete base from a firm used, the base was not fit for use. I advertised on this site and tradesmen came out to quote. My husband liked this builder and during the other quotes he came back and bullied my husband into taking him on to correct the work. He had 1500 of us, he brought a firm that properly pumped wet cement over the shoddy base. 900 of that was for them the
Rest for him for proper planking around the side. He came with 2 prices of Plank? 600 for that? After the work was done he conned my husband into doing decking over the solid base? This was to hold a summerhouse. I was at work and I was questioning this, this cost 1500, I never received one receipt only stupid emails as an invoice. He then took another 845 to make the decking bigger! 120 for a useless armoured cable that he just plonked under the crap grass sods he had purchased. Another 220 for a skip that never showed and has never paid for the por taloo still in my front garden?
William Moreton of WD improvements absolute joker no receipts or anything do not want to even give any stars
Hi I will demonstrate in a few short paragraphs that the reviews on sitejabber for MyBuilder (henceforth MB) are fake.
1. I have worked on jobs and hired people from MB. The site is far from perfect, the prices are outrageous especially for smaller jobs. As a contractor you pay a fee (£7-£60) only if a customer shortlists you, therefore you will pay and compete at the same time. Maybe that makes you play nice with the customer, but it also makes you hike your prices - no, not to adjust to the fee, but to the adjust to the hundreds of £ you lose when shortlisted.
2. "If something is free, you're not the customer, you're the product". Builders get favoured, especially ones with a lot of feedback or older accounts (signalling to MB that these workmen pay their fees). Negative reviews can disappear.
3. The background checks are non-existant, never have been. Recently they started ID verifying, but other than that you still don't know who you're getting. Why not try Gumtree or the Yellow pages? At least it'll be cheaper.
4. There's no customer service for anybody. No phone number, just a form they promise to get back to you.
With the above in mind, how often do you find yourself coming to a 3rd party site (such as sitejabber), after hiring a person from another site (MB), to leave one and only one positive review?
Are you really in-love with sites such as MB that you'd go out of your way coming here to leave a positive review? Chances are slim. They're much higher if you were upset for example, because you would want to vent your frustration and warn people.
Yet surprisingly here most 5 star reviews here are single review accounts, they went out of their way to say how spectacular MB is! Don't be naive, these people have had to write a review for the contractor on MB.
And if by chance they were genuine, it would mean they enjoy writing reviews, which doesn't explain why they all have 1 review. That's because it's not true.
You have been warned folks, MB is not interested in anyone except the owners of MB and they will lie to you here if necessary.
Thomas and team have done a great job of painting the exteror of my house. Good price good communication with Thomas. I would recommend them to anyone with a painting job. THANKYOU. Colin From KIDDERMINSTER.
Absolutely rubbish, they fail to mention to customers that for every tradesman you shortlist they will be charged a fee and only 1 person will do the job. In fact they encourage you to shortlist more than 1 person. And they don't do checks on plumbing as my friend answered a few basic questions and was signed up.
Answer: From what I gather they just check. Insurances! No qualifications or registration checks at all!
Answer: Hi Mitsy, the service is completely free for homeowners.
Answer: Well you can always try, in anyway they would remove your reviews as they did mine. Depend which trader though! Some of them seems to be more protected than others...
