I bought a big old house in need of total refurbishment I advertised my job and had replies almost instantly, the carpenter was named Jem thomas off my builder, I had bought 400 meters of 8 inch solid oak skirting, I gave him a key as I was working full time, to cut a long story short he used no nails adhesive leavening gaps up to a quarter of an inch I was horrified, it cost me 1500 pounds to put the job right it's now been drilled oak dowled and looks brilliant, I made a complaint to my builder there responded by blocking me

I need to speak to someone as regards the invoice sent to me " overdue invoice". I have sent messages regarding the said invoice and I'm disputing the fee, I also read on your platform where you mentioned instances when one can dispute such, Two of the payment falls in that category as the customer was not available(reachable), I have made effort to reach you on phone and I will further escalate it, I expect a reasonable response to the messages explaining the situation but most of my messages where treated with levity. A simple call would suffice as I get voicemail saying one should leave an email. My builder practically chase me up to complete my profile knowing fully well they are the beneficiary in this marriage cause you shortlist multiple people for a job knowing fully well just one person will get the job and expect all the shortlisted tradesmen to pay up. I have deactivated my account but I'm willing to pay for the shortlist; one which I spoke to the client and didn't agree on price( slavery) but not shortlist that I couldn't reach the client as their numbers aren't reachable, who says you can't send bogus numbers as it is not beneath logical reasoning considering your approach of making profit; Radical.

You have been chosen to quote, sounds great, you then pay, in my case £35 for a telephone number. Remember this person has chosen me to quote, you call the number, no reply, no opportunity to quote. Still charged, very miss leading, be careful.

Posted an urgent cry for help for a gas engineer after my dad accidently drilled a hole in the gas pipe within 10 minutes I got the response I needed from Phil Johnson Gas Engineers. He came out early next morning got it sorted re-plastered over the tiles he had to remove and isolated my dad's fire as he noticed there was a gas leak on that too! (no extra charge) 100% recommend this guy

So sign up for 12 months getting work 95% positive feedback from over 800 customers decide to go to Ltd with company and my builder decide they don't want me as a ltd company on there ok no big deal except they have taken my cash for plenty of bogus jobs and cost me money in long run couldn't tell people enough to avoid them

Had over 5 bad leads which involve agency posting ad and main contractor posting as private job. I quit making them rich while us tradesman have to work hard for every pound

WE WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY Because there work is fantastic we can not complains about anything from the lads are the best we have ever had to do any work for us very hard working ever stopping there manager Matthew came round measured up gave us a price of which we were happy with three days later we got back in touch with him and excepted the quote he gave us a date 3/2/21 eight o'clock among the day the lads turned up and started work telling us they would be finished by 16.00pm that day never stopping for dinner just a quick brew when they had finished we went out looked at the work and what a shock we had it was fantastic everything layer garden done all cleaned up we can not fault there work or fault the company and would recommend them to anybody that is looking to have building work and would not hesitate to use them again

I recently used My Builder to find a plasterer, an electrician and a decorator. In all cases, I received replies to my post very quickly from companies I subsequently hired to do the work in my home. Using the My Builder website meant that I could read reviews of these companies before I asked them to do the wiek. The website also kept me up to date at all stages of the process. I was happy with the service and would recommend My Builder to anyone looking to hire tradespeople.

Two years ago MyBuilder member Ionut Lazar Handyserv LTD No. ******* used lead solder on water supply. Despite providing invoices, contract, solder laboratory tests reports, other tests and evidences etc. MyBuilder failed duties to care and refused to contact other Ionut clients so they can test water/solder for lead. They argument for letting people be poisoned with lead 'Ionut denied using lead in your property'.
MyBuilder protect members in price of customer health.

Totally disgusting my builder treated me, I gave a friend three projects, but he asked if put through my builder so I did,, reason give reviews for him,, he is a good tradesmen, they took is money, they removed my reviews, didn't tell me why, charged styles images 30 pounds, they took is reviews off site, would only say it was against policy to work for poeple you know, I'm taking it to trading standards,, the site is fiull of poeple lying about how good they are, they get one good person and treat him likes. Hes criminal, don't use this site...
