This site is fantastic for me. I am a Landlady and am always looking for professional, reliable tradesmen for a variety of jobs (sometimes at short notice). I like the fact that you can choose who to invite to quote for jobs, without the hassle of tradesmen phoning me without an invite. I study all the reviews before I accept a tradesman to quote. This gives me confidence that a particular tradesman works to a high standard and is reliable. I have found a good few tradesmen on this site who I will definitely use again. I really don't know how I managed without using this site before - genius idea!
Have been using the site to hire tradesmen for the last 2-3 years and have not had a bad experience with anyone (yet!).
The site's interface is very easy to use and the advice centre has been very useful indeed.
I have used mybuilder three times now and in each case I have been really pleased. You post the job and very quickly a number of tradesmen respond. You can shortlist them and get them to come round for a quote. Then you make your decision. It is quick and simple and you can give feedback for future potential customers... I felt more confident and the site was very easy to use.
The guys at mybuilder.com are really greedy and out to make money for them selves. They do not vet the builders which means you can be employing incompetent people. They are very quick at asking for money but not very willing to help. Totally useless and a bad service. Would not recommend them.
The identification of extremely useful and very practical and economic tradesmen was excellent. I consider that this website saved me a mountain of time that I could have wasted seeking tradesmen that may well not have been anywhere near as good as identified by mybuilder.com. Totally recommended.
I have been using mybuilder.com for years. I have found tradesmen to redesign and install a new bathroom, rewire my office, and install a new lighting system in my kitchen, as well as a number of smaller jobs. It's a very user-friendly system, and I've found brilliant electricians, plumbers and decorators.

As I've bought a house that needs a lot of work and don't know many tradesman, the site has helped me to get the work I need done.
I have used My Builder many times and have found it easy to use. Usually invite tradesment to quote who live within a certain distace and I have found that very useful. There is only one problem which is not the sites fault and that is that contractors who don't wish to quote do not respond either way. Otherewise the site is convenient and saves me having to use Yellow Pages and telephone everyone individually.
I have used Mybuilder several times and on each occasion I found the site extremely user-friendly and simple to navigate. I have always been matched with a number of local tradesmen all of whom have been well qualified and highly rated. The tradesmen that I have selected have all done extremely good work and I use this site whenever the occasion arises.
I've used mybuilder.com a few times. It really takes the worry out of finding a reliable tradesperson. After listing a job you can communicate with anyone interested in taking the job and look at feedback left about them. It really helps you to determine whether someone is trustworthy and reliable before you hire them.
I've been really glad to find mybuilder.com, it has helped me access some really good quality tradespeople who are keen to work and do a good job. I moved to a totally new part of UK a few years back and lost all my local contacts and knowledge of who is good and who is not. My builder enabled me to hire people with good ratings and feel more confident than just taking a wild guess. I fully intend to keep using mybuilder, and I hope I never come unstuck with it!
The site helps to find local tradesmen to do all sorts of jobs around the house. One can access the trademens' profiles and reviews to find the best man or quote for what is required. A very useful website indeed.
The best site for finding experienced tradesmen. I have used companies that provide a range of services before and they just get the cheapest person to you for the highest price. Not so with mybuilder.com. If you're super cautious go for someone with lots of reviews and 100% positive feedback.
I wouldn't go anywhere else for services like this now!
I've used this site for a few years. It's very easy to use and gets tradesmen in touch very quickly. I've had Electricians, Carpenters, Plasterers and more. Always been pleased with service provided. All of the tradesmen on this site will want your positive feedback so they will surely do a good job.
I also like the Q&A feature, if you're a diy enthusiast & have got a question regarding jobs you're doing then you can post it on the site and tradesmen will offer free answers and advice.
I have used the site a few times in the past couple of years for Electricians and Plumbers. I have always had a tremendous response and got the jobs expertly done at a fair price. If you are like me and shudder at the thought of house repairs get yourself on this site, you won't regret it.

It started when I needed a quick quote and a job done fast but to a good standard.
Now I also use it for our Resident Company.
It provides a good base of different trades located around you, where ever you are, and you can check previous feedback on a tradesmen to put your mind at rest.
You also get a peace of mind that they were checked and all insured (if applicable).
I found this site very useful, and am keep coming back over and over again.
I use this website constantly. We moved into a property in August which needed work and I have found fantastic gas fitters, decorators, electricians, builders. You can read the reviews so you know that they are reliable. Brilliant site.
Until I discovered MyBuilder.com, I found it so difficult to find good workmen in my area and work that was done was done badly or massively overcharged.
Finding MyBuilder.Com has been fantastic for me. The ratings system and feedback process means that you can find really good honest workman with a proven track record. It is really easy to use. I have used MyBuilder.Com to find electrician, handymen, plumber and each one has been has been excellent. They have all done a brilliant job, been honest and hardworking and very fair prices. It really has made my life so much easier and I know that when I move house I will still be able to find really good workmen thanks to MyBuilder.Com.
Very good site. I've used this many times and have found the feedback facility excellent. It also helps me remember which tradesmen I've used as it stores all my old jobs so I can return to the good tradesmen I've used.
I have used this site several times, I am a young women and have moved area in the last few years so I struggle to find reliable work men that wont take the mickey with their prices. This is a good tool to find quality work. I would emphasise this is tool and you do still have to do the normal 3 quotes etc but its a hell of a lot simpler if your busy to use this site.
