As the title suggests and if you can use a computer and phone go for it.
My builder are money grabbers who take money from trades people when they get shortlisted and never tell the customer that tradespeople have to pay for this service when customers shortlist more than 1 person and they don't get to quote on the job ive reported this to trading standards who are looking into this
The above company just did some gas works for us and we can't recommend them highly enough. They kept us informed every step of the way, the work they carried out is excellent, time keeping perfect and they were polite, helpfull and a pleasure to deall with.
We will use them again and would highly recommend them.
MyBuilder is very simple to use and covers more trades than I think I'd ever need! I've used it 5 or 6 times and always been very happy with the tradespeople I've used, who have been prompt polite and most importantly, very skilled. They've also charged me what I consider to be reasonable rates for the work carried out. I now use MyBuilder as the first port of call for any jobs I need doing.
I have used my build several times, it is the first site i visit when i need a job doing. And in my experience i have not had a negative experience yet, all the tradesman i have used have been polite courteous and knowledgeable about there trade.The fact you can read the reviews from other customers is a great help also.
I used the service as a tradesman for many years, 2009-2014, and MyBuilder's customer service is terrible. They really are money grabbing.
This site is excellent its easy to use and very informative. You get peace of mind by reading actual customer reviews and obtaining quotes for work is easy and more comfortable.
I spent a productive afternoon in February posting jobs for 3 separate trades. Very easy site to negotiate. In the space of a day I had arranged visits from trades who wanted the job With the exception of one, who didn't turn up or inform me that he wasn't coming I had speedy quotes and by the end of the week I had the people I needed. I found the whole experience a very easy way of finding well qualified trades people and reading the reviews both positive and negative gave a feeling of confidence in who you were spending your money with.
Used mybuilder to obtain workmen for numerous house renovation jobs required on my fathers home (He is 87 and it required thoughtful, helpful and flexible workmen).
All of the builders I found on mybuilder were brilliant. The work carried out was first class and the workmen were all courteous, polite and helpful to my Dad.
Would recommend the site to anyone and everyone.
Beware of reviews - if it's unfavourable or neutral they will find an excuse to delete it.
Also builders in here without insurance are carrying out work - one of them broke items and then refused to claim for them saying he didn't have any
Finally workmen are often rude to customers.
I have used My Builder 3 times up to now & have just posted another job. I like that you can read reviews of the tradespeople first it just makes me feel more comfortable before inviting someone I don't know in to my home.
Excellent site allows you to invite 5 tradesmen of your choice based on their feedback and also you can look at others who express an interest. I have had very mixed results with tradesmen I have hired in the past but I have had 3 jobs completed from my builder and they were all done to a high standard for very competitive prices. Next time I need work done, I'll definitely hire through my builder
My Builder allows you to select great trades that have been vetted in advance! This is a real boost in London where there is generally a mix of good and poor trades. Have had great experience with my builder and used significantly
I have used mybuilder.com several times now, and I have been completely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship, all the guys that I have employed have been courteous and on time, and I would not hesitate to use the site again if I were to need an expert.
I have uses my builder for several tradesmen from garden work to odd jobs about the house. I would highly recommend this site. I trust my builder and the tradesmen who advertise on there. It's quick and easy to find a tradesman and to review feedback left by others who have used them. The feedback system gives peace of mind when choosing to hire a tradesman. I wouldn't go anywhere else to find a recommended tradesmen. Love this site and I've had only positive experiences.
From a traders point of view these people can destroy your reputation. They will allow the customer to post anything, whether its true or not, and if you point it out to them they do nothing!
An excellent site well mapped out and a hassle free way of sourcing quality trades people, you can see genuine feedback from other people who have used the trade men which is very helpful when making your decision
We have been doing a number of jobs to our home and on all occasions have found the whole experience faultless i would not hesitate in recommending friends and family to the site and also any trade men that i know i will send the link for them to sign up

Having bought a house in need of some TLC last year have used MyBuilder to find both a good plumber and electrician. Adverting a job is easy and within a few hours had interested tradesmen, a few messages and phone calls and all arranged. Supports local companies and helps the good guys and avoids falling for cowboys.
This site seems to locate the sort of tradesmen people seek. I found that those I chose (and not all jobs got a response) were very good. Be sure to check feedback as I do not know if the site vets there tradesmen to appear on the site.
