The employees who were hired to photograph, describe and list the items for auction were in no way equipped to fulfill this role. The descriptions were extremely poor. Many precious antiques and other items were not described appropriately or even adequately. The auction was held for my parents, who are aged. I am disgusted that they were taken advantage of in this way. They failed in every way to assist in properly assist my parents with the auction. You should be ashamed to have people so ill equipped to represent your company. I would never, ever recommend this service to anyone.

Have been a loyal customer for over 5 months with a many satisfied purchases. Last week I've purchased three lots, unfortunately in 3 different location Lilburn, Marietta, Austell and I live in buckhead. The day before I've received a message from my bank about fradulent activity on my account so I confirmed fraudulent charge and due to it bank canceled my card and scheduled to send a new. Didn't think much about and on the next day went to all three locations and picked up my purchases paying for them at the spot, there is no way those auctioneers will release the items with out the payment, two payments in cash and one by Zelle.
After checking my Max sold account two days later I noticed the three lots still marked as unpaid. I called Max Sold representative and after explaining her the issue she assured me to relate my concern to the supervisor and I will hear back from them in 48 hrs Two days later after not receiving any promised reply from the company and after trying to checking my online MaxSold account I realised that I'm being suspended/ blocked from any future transactions. Keep in mind the entire bill was less then $100 and I got no call or explanation for that action. I'm sure Max Sold received my payments from local auctioneers who received the payments from me before releasing the items. Very strange behavior by the company who punished the costumer and not the employee who violated their "rules" and not trying to resolve the issue. I'm still hoping they will come to their senses and will reach out to me.
With maxsold I have found articles that I never imagined I would get, they have good prices, efficiency and professionalism I recommend it 100 percent
I have been with MaxSold for a couple of years now, spent over $7k I recently bid on 5 lots totalling $500 upon arriving to the site I was immediately told that my bargain $2 lot was no longer available and offered the $2, it was a lot with many items worth much more. I believe the owner kept thee lot or a Maxsold worker found a deal. What I got was a lame excuse. The next lot featured a box of tools and some random supplies with a cabinet. THE TOOLS WERE GONE, they still wanted me to take the rest, I refused. Now I have to file a refund request online. After explaining what happened and asking for my refunds I received an email, warning me of my behaviour and threatening me of closing my account. There was no explanation of where my goods were, or any apology from the company itself.

I was honestly surprised with how straightforward the entire bidding and pick up process was. The range of things available for auction is astounding. The bidding system is very simple and the site updates frequently so you aren't caught off guard by competing bids. The pick up time window system is clever and not held to too intense of an expectation. All staff was kind and helpful during pick up and helped to the best of their ability. The process of Max Sold is great; however, if you want to get the best bang for your expensive items, then reconsider. This company reminds me of an online garage sale. The highest bidder for our $6000 dining room set was $62.50 and there were other items that were very low. I immediately let them know that they needed to contact the buyer of the table and let her know that I would not let her have our table for that low price. People bid low and get items to sell in their businesses or through other resources to make money. Plus, we paid $700 for the service plus they get 30% of the items sold.
This is the 2nd time I've used MaxSold and once again I was very pleased. Everything from the initial communications to pick up day went flawlessly. I appreciated the constant communication and support. The ladies that prepped for and worked the auction were AMAZING They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our senior move specialist, Flew the Coop, put us in touch with Maxsold. Flew the Coop staff did a knowledgeable job setting us up for Maxsold auction. The communication was excellent. Maxsold staff did a good job on pick up day. Came back to a swept and cleared house. One caveat, do not expect to make substantial money - the goal is new homes for furniture and collectibles
I've bought lot of things through Maxsold auctions over the last few years. Generally I feel like I got a great deal... it all depends on who else is bidding that night, sometimes you are really lucky, sometimes not so much, but generally you aren't overpaying. The app is straight forward and bidding is easy. Adding an option to receive a text reminder would be good for items you are following, I've missed items I wanted to buy because I just forgot. Overall it's great to have an option like this, in an area that has very few antique shops anymore.

I'm super pleased with Max Sold. They did a wonderful job and were very well organized. I like how the pickup was organized. It was a bit of a challenge because our apartment is pretty small and there was a lot of stuff. Yolanda was at the gate and controlled the line. Chris was in front of the door and helped the buyers pick up the boxes and Jerome was inside looking at the numbers to make sure that the correct lots were picked up. It was very nice, quiet and without stress. And people was happy with prices and very good stuff; China, porcelain and a lot of antiques. All of the buyers were very satisfied and there were no complaints from them. I have recommended Max Sold to my friends. This company is very serious and very responsible. Gia, who I talked to on the phone several times explained everything very clearly and helped me feel comfortable when I wasn't sure how it was all going to work. A number of times we have had items stolen before pick up. You purchase a series of items. The people running the auctions never check for theft so someone walking out with one or two of your items is a frequent occurrence. If those items were part of a package, you are still responsible for the entire cost even though it is missing items.
I have been buying through MaxSold for over a year, but I am extremely dissatisfied with my Seller Auction! While I realize that it risky to auction off items, there still should be a minimum for the item that the seller would accept so that we aren't robbed as I was in my auction. Not only that, but what little proceeds that I did make, MaxSold got almost all of it! It's a disgrace and your company should be ashamed for doing people like this! Trust me, I will be sure to spread the word of my Seller experience with MaxSold!
I have participated in 6 auctions as a buyer and am happy with MaxSold, As with any auction that relies on photos you must do your research and bid within reason. Sometimes the pick-ups can be very busy and crowded and other times a quick in and out. Smart bidders can find real value once they become knowledgeable with the process.

Maxsold is an excellent business model and sure beats any garage sale I have ever had. This type of auction allows people to shop in the comfort of their own homes and see the types of items they are interested in with great descriptions and photos of each item.
