Today was the fourth time purchasing from a MaxSold auction and I have to say its a great experience. I've bought items for my personal use and to resell, some items that are hard to find or rare. I review the descriptions and view the multiple pictures of the lots and do research on the items being offered. I can expand the pictures on my computer so I get a great view of the condition of the items, but any defects are always listed in the description. I determine how high I'm willing to pay for a lot, type in my max bid and the rest is done for me. I receive email notification when I'm out bid so I can reevaluate my limits. And the last night of bidding the opportunity to increase my bids to win are always available with the soft closes. Picking up the lots I win couldn't be easier. The site lead verifies my purchases, hands me off to another worker who oversees my items and everyone is extremely courteous and helpful. Awesome experience all around! Thank you MaxSold!
My 1st auction with MaxSold... Bid on 2 Mens' Bows, description was "Mens Bows C". In GatorCase. I wish MaxSold did a better job of asking seller for descriptions and providing more detail. Wound up paying 220$ for ~100 worth of 15-20 yr old CRAP. One Bow is unusable. Yes. My mistake for overbidding, but one would 'assume' MaxSold did their due diligence in making sure descriptions identified products to protect buyers, but in this case, protected the sellers.
The pick up site was a home, OMG, Nasty Nasty Nasty. Not sure I'll bid again on auctions here. But would ask MaxSold to do a better job of the descriptions so we know what we're bidding on. My only wish is that MaxSold held more auctions in my area. Whenever they do I always find something (or things) I'm excited about bidding on. And the items I've won I've been very happy with. And the people are so nice to work with. Come on sellers -- Denver area needs more MaxSold auctions!
MaxSold sold all the contents of my mothers beautiful 5 bedroom home and promised her that she would make a lot of money but after everything was said and done and they took their minimum $1000, she walked away with under $200. Her furniture alone was worth way over $10,000! Do not list with max sold, they will rip you off! They don't care about making you money because they will make money regardless. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I bid for a set according to picture and description I found that it's error and no more details about the sizes of plates I should receive I talked to team lead at thier pick up and she talked to USA Manger Petti who refused to refund or even answer the phone or talk to us. we kept try to cominicate by phone for support line and by emails but no response at all I paid more than the double of the should pay for same item in regular site like ebay.

We are the ONLY online auction company to have a refund process in place, and we take 100% ownership of the problem if the goods aren't as described, so I'm surprised that you didn't get a fair resolution to your issue.
I have bid on items in 2 different MaxSold auctions that were in my area. I won a few items at each auction. Upon arriving at the homes to pick up the items, I was greeted with professionalism and kindness from all the MaxSold staff. My worst online auction experience! They care nothing but get your money. Then whether you can get what you paid for is none of their business. They just don't care. It was not acceptable to them even if you try to take care of your property by yourselves. The so called "support" is bureaucratic, rude and arrogant, didn't even try a little bit to help when there was issue. I purchased from many online auctions. This is THE worst one. THE worst one. You sound like I "decided" not to show up to pick up my items. That is not true. Your bidding is open to international wide buyers and an international buyer I am. I am in USA and the auction is in Canada. So be understanding to long distance buyer's situation. I tried my best to abide by your rules. I need the local UPS store to pick up the item and ship to me. This has never been a problem as I purchased from many online auctions and worked with many UPS stores in US. Before bidding I called the UPS store in Canada (5 min away from the auction site) several times trying to arrange the possible pick up and shipping, nobody answered me or called me back. Ok, time for bidding and I won the item. So I tried another far away UPS store and I was told I have to call the pick up line. Unlike the UPS store in US, the UPS stores in Canada don't pick up. So I called the pick up line and I was told it was too short a notice and they couldn't pick up in your pick up time window. As you can see I tried my best to abide by your pick up rules but it didn't work. The world is not working perfectly according to your rule or my wish. There can be situations. Running out of choices, so I asked if your "support" can ask your local sales manager or the seller to bring my item to the UPS store that is only 5 min away. It is a small light item. With the exceptional price I paid, I don't think that is an outrageous request. Not mentioning I have no other choices to get my item. Your "support" did nothing other than bureaucratically keep stating that shipping is none of your business. OK, you don't help. I just have to help myself. Thanks to the powerful internet, I found the seller and told her about the situation. Without any hesitation, the seller kindly agreed to bring the item to the UPS store. Problem solved! Thanks to the seller again. She is a much kind person than your support is. But more astonishing to me is, even after I didn't bother with your so called "support" and solved the problem totally by myself, it was not acceptable to you. After I responded honestly to your request for feedback, your support" responded with accusations in a rude and arrogant tone and closed my account. That is it. This is my first purchase from you, and is my last purchase from you. Never want to deal with Maxsold again. There are so many other more professional online auctions where I can spend my $!
Wolf, We are not a site like Craigslist where you can decide you are not going to show up to get your things. When bidding with us we only ask you to be responsible for your actions. When you missed pickup (which you agreed to abide by when you bid with us) despite all the reminders, you put us and our sellers in a difficult position. Pickup date/time/location is critical and we mention that several times on our site and in the reminder emails. I love Maxsold. Have been using the site for over 6 months & have purchased many unique items. Staff is courteous & well organized & pickups are well monitored. Always come home with all of the items I have paid for. Occasional issues with "Seller Managed Auctions" which Maxsold has resolved, but they can't be blamed for auctions that they are not personally supervising. Love the variety of items to choose from & the opportunity it allows me to learn about categories that I personally had no knowledge of. Will continue to watch & buy product.

I have purchased a few times from this auction site who advertises designer items that are actually counterfeit and not authentic. They refuse to refund your money based on the fact that they "don't authenticate" their items "they rely on the seller's knowledge". It is illegal to sell fake designer items. Buyer beware, you will pay for an item that you believe is a designer item and when you pick it up, its crap!

I can't give a higher rating. MaxSold, has only and EVERY time, been professional and extremely helpful. I frequent estate sales and other auctions and MaxSold is by far the very best. My neighbor recently downsized and use MaxSold and they were very pleased too. Can't say enough great things about them!
When I see a notice in my email that there is an auction located near me I get a little thrill. I have bid and won some GREAT items. The bidding process is easy and very fair. I like the having an appointed time to pick up items and they will work with you if you win multiple lots in different pick up time slots. Very nice and helpful workers. I always get a great deal with MaxSold.
I have been buying from MaxSold for several months now and love it. I find it very easy to bid and the system is fair to everyone. The pick ups for the most part are easy but do remember to bring your own bags and boxes.

I have bid on many items through MaxSold and won quite a few of those. The whole process couldn't be any easier. From the convenience of your own home, you review and bid on the lots offered. There is information on each lot and pictures of the items. Most of the time there is a preview day when you can personally visit the site of the auction items, in case you feel the need to see them in person. There was a time or 2 when I was missing 1 or 2 items from one of the lots I won but those instances were resolved very quickly through MaxSold. I have NEVER arrived to find that any of my lots had already been picked up. The MaxSold agents at the site are right there and they check off the items I am picking up. I will continue to use MaxSold.
