I Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was dealing with MaxSold. From the first phone call to Bruce to the leadership and auction process with Adam for helping me throw together 2 auctions in such a short time. Also want to give a big shout out to the, on the ground crew of Tony, Julie, Keith, and Kat. Awesome crew and so friendly and helpful. Pleasure working with everyone. Just an incredible experience overall. Sure made the closing of my long time business pain-free and seamless. I would highly recommend MaxSold to anyone who needs to downsize or liquidate a business. 5 Stars, Thanks Again!

I love MaxSold and have made purchases from many of their auctions. I have been quite happy with my purchases but mostly it is the people who work for MaxSold. I have always had great people who are helpful and cheerful and seem genuinely glad to help me. I can say I would highly recommend MaxSold to both buyers and sellers. I honestly do not tell many people about this great business because I selfishly want to keep it secret so I can get all the good deals. :)

I have made a number of purchases through MaxSold, some have been great deals, others have been great items, but I keep coming back because you never know what you may find! Quick easy way to empty out a space as well, I have recommended MS to many friends, both buyers and sellers, and will happily continue to use the service!

I love the deals and unique items you find on MaxSold. Everything is done in the comfort of your home and you can choose to drive as little as 15 minutes to 3-4 hours or more to get the unique item you want. I like the idea of using the MaxBid option so If I don't want to miss out on something I put the highest amount in and then I can sit back and relax. I love that pick up happens on a certain day and time. Very easy to plan, if I cannot pick up then I can have my family pick it up for me. Very simple to do I just give them to receipt and directions. I like the idea of picking up items that need some TLC then I can paint and refinish to match my décor.

I would like to warn potential customers that this is terrible rip off concept. The bidding system is faulty and people who wanted to pay 100 dollars for an item on which last bid was, say 27, would get an item for 28 dollars. Also I roughly read the complicated contract but it basically said that their commission is 30%. Also they warned that 1000 dollars is their minimum fee. I agreed to that. Now out of 2,048.17 dollars that 65 valuable items were sold for we have received 793.17. It seems then that client is actually getting 40 percent and MaxSold is getting 60 percent. I have to mention that my friends who bid on it were charged additional almost 20 percent (in the name of tax and what they call 10 percent buyers premium.) Another thing worth mentioning is that a lot of people I know who were bidding were informed that they were winners and then in the last 30 seconds were outbided. Surely, a lot of employees of MaxSold showed up at our home as buyers of the items they pay negligible amounts for. I guess for them it was not difficult to bid and win. All in all terrible experience and disappointment. I would NOT recommend them.

I am so thankful that I went with MaxSold. They really know what they are doing. The people they sent out to organize my estate sale and photograph it were really top notch and knew how to put the lots together. Not only were they thorough, on time and hardworking (no fooling around); they also were kind and considerate in their dealings with me and my items. They understood that some items had sentimental value and I needed an hour or so to decide whether or not to let it go. Moreover, everyone in the company was available to answer my questions, including the CEO! Unbelievable service. I could never have managed this sale myself. It is well worth the money to have 98% of my items sold and moved out of the house! I made much more than I expected from the sale. I'm very happy!

If you read these reviews, you'll see that most are posted by buyers who got "great deals". That translates to low profits (if any) for sellers. With Maxsolds requirment that they make a $1000 minimum, there is no incentive for their hourly paid employees to make the extra effort to photograph or describe your items in a way that might encourage more bidding.
I had to do a lot more work and cakoling than I expected to try to make sure I could get the most for my items. Maxsold fell far short of that. Any follow up comments on this site by their management will simply try to gloss over the issue and lay blame on the complainant. Shame on them.

I was skeptical, as I don't trust a lot of what is shown on the internet, but I was absolutely delighted with my purchases at a recent MaxSold on-line auction in New Westminster, British Columbia. I was pleased how placing a "maximum bid" meant that I didn't have to be glued to the auction site. I was the successful bidder on two items that didn't go as high as my maximum bid would have gone. I love my purchases, and now wish that I had bid on more things!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the pick up ran very smoothly. I would not hesitate to participate in a MaxSold on-line auction again.

After many years of scouring the local yard, tag, estate and flea market sales... I am so happy I found MaxSold... I am able to search for items and actually get them, without having to waste the day driving around only to find the item I'm in search of has been scooped up by another buyer... MaxSold is the way to go... they post pictures and descriptions and have very upfront rules and terms... I have won several lots recently and the MaxSold staff takes the time to make sure my lots are pretty much located in the same area of the house... everything from games to furniture... I am addicted! I have recommended this site to lots of friends even strangers (they better not bid against me)... lol. I KNOW when I downsize someday, I will be getting touch with MaxSold!
