I have been buying items at Maxsold auctions and have never had any problems with the items purchased. They were all as pictured, sometimes even better with even more value. The one time the lot was less than advertised (two cup had been broken and repaired), Maxsold offered me a complete refund. I was happy for a partial refund and it was delivered promptly back into my account. It's a great company to deal with and they are very clear about how they operate. I trust them and feel very confident dealing with them.
I have bought things at multiple maxsold auctions, and I've loved all of them, my favorite item purchased was 9totes worth of books for $2. The workers are always nice and good at directing the flow of traffic at the site.

I recently had a seller-managed sale which did incredibly well! All of my items sold for a fair market price. Maxsold made it easy with online training videos and documents to guide you through the process. If you encounter a problem or have a question, customer service will respond quickly and help you resolve the issue. I have dealt with other online estate sale companies and had problems. So, now I only deal with Maxsold. In my opinion, they are the BEST!

MaxSold is the first thing I check when I get home from work. What fun. We love finding ancient (vintage?) yet useful gadgets for around the property. The staff are always courteous and well organized when we arrive. We went 3 hours' drive from home for some discontinued china for my best friend. I was introduced to MaxSold by a friend who was clearing out her home for a cross-country move and made my first bid. My curiosity has evolved over the year into a bit of an obsession. I'm currently furnishing a new home on a very limited budget and the majority of my "finds" have come from MaxSold... I'm spending pennies on the dollar for top quality items. The staff that greet me at the door are very pleasant, the lot are well-organized, and in one instance I had an issue with an item and, much to my relief, steps were taken that day to correct it.
Friends recommended Max Sold. We looked at the website and then signed up for a managed auction. The crew that came out to photograph and set up the lots were absolutely great. The online review of the lots went smoothly. We only had a few editorial changes to suggest. We were able to monitor the auction throughout the period. On the day of pickup the two individuals from Max Sold did a great job or verifying the buyers and pointing out to them where the lots were. Great way to downsize.

Dear Public, Sandra and Celia who have never returned phone calls. I guess you are still in, "meetings." I recently contacted Maxsold to auction off items when I was moving. I have 70% of 68 lots auctioned. There were 37 bidders and all items whether the lot had a $20 or $500 value or more, all start at $1. If you do not reach the $10 commission you owe them the difference. Does this make sense to anyone, really? Every lot that was sold was auctioned off at ridiculous prices. I allowed this company and the buyers to come into my home and steal my possessions. Does anyone have a conscience anymore. The few lots that actually were auctioned at a decent price, below value, but at lease a few hundred dollars was also taken by Maxsold. The 45 lots sold, which is the 70% of the 68 I made a total of $118. The total sales were $987- Less fees $150, commissions!, 000. DO NOT use this company for anything but items that have little to no value. I should have given the many precious items to family and friends. So live and learn. This is a warning to anyone thinking of using this company. Their first deception was that I was expecting a "team" and one very sweet lady showed up at 10 and stayed till 6. Many lots did not even get photographed and properly presented. I informed the phone rep that I was selling 1/2 of the contents in my 2400 sq ft home. One example is a trunk full of awesome Lord of the Rings items valued at a minimum of 250 sold for $6. I actually lost $4. The "team" of 1 never even bothered to take out items, I should have only let the buyer take what was photographed. This happened again and again. Their second error is the fact that they start all bidding at $1. Bidding should start at least 1/2 the value of the item. I along with the rest of world would rather not sell an item than to be robbed. You have been warned, I should have stopped the process when one lady showed up instead of a team. This company is deceptive on every level and won't return a phone calls after repeated efforts which is why I resorted to this review. Linda

Im about to do my 4th seller managed auction with them I intend to write a very in-depth review very soon so people can really see what a great company this is and why it works so well and things that they should know to avoid any hiccups in there process but I have to say The team there is stellar Patti Ridlon leads a team that again and again goes above and beyond and sets you up to succeed. I think its worth noting that you can truely judge a company when there is an issue or problem with the resolution in their fingertips and when you do have problems along the way its impressive to say the least to see a company that is SO able to communicate, take action, resolve and to be Ready to improve the situation so QUICKLY and always with a great attitude. Wow i.ve been trying to get in touch with this company for 3 weeks and have not had any luck getting them to reply to me but looks like they sure have the time to reply to reviews. I wish i could attach photos to prove how many lies are in the bottom response. But all i can say to everyone reading this is TRUST ME ! There are so many companys out there that do this. Check out your MANY options before you choose to be treated like dirt from this company. They are about to crash and burn

Maxsold i have sold 3 times thru you and purchased many times,,, no dozens of times thru you, and you new system sucks! I wish to advise all clients that i referral to you to run away from this site. Lordly this new site just does not work like the old site. I wish i did not referral you to so many folks as my good name is ruined with my good referrals. Maxsold should be ashamed.
