Many thanks to MaxSold for helping to manage what was an important stage in my life: downsizing from a lifetime of collecting artifacts from around the world. This was an unusual sale in many ways. The objects themselves were not the customary household goods. I was happy to see that the MaxSold marketing efforts reached the right people. It was a joy to meet the auction winners. They were truly interesting people- well traveled and excited to claim their new possessions. It made me happy to know these beloved objects were going to a good home.

I have now shopped through MaxSold a couple of times in a couple of different cities here in Colorado. I have been really impressed with the quality of the items and happy with my purchase. But what set MaxSold above the crowd is there customer service. No matter how many people are at a sale, picking up their items, the employees are friendly and extremely helpful. I have also been impressed with the measures that these folks take in caring for the property where the sale is taking place. It's a balance to satisfy both the end customers and the client. In a world where customer service is quickly disappearing, I have been so pleased with the service from what is ostensibly an online service.
I bought 3 different lots of articles from MaxSold a couple of weeks back. I was more than happy with the bidding process, and the continuous updates on my bids. I was happy with all my articles, and it was a simple process. I can't wait until there is another auction in my area.
This year I purchased a candelabra that was advertised as being Sterling Silver. When I won the item and got home with it I realized it wasn't Sterling. I wrote to Maxsold and told them what happened. They reviewed my email and then offered my money back. I didn't pay very much at all. I decided to keep it and resell it on eBay. The fact that they offered a refund made me realize they are a top notch business. They stand behind what they say. They have me as a life long customer.

They have real-time bidding, low bidding increments and multiple detailed pictures of items that are listed. Make sure to bring your own packing and/or moving material as these are not provided.
I can not praise the Maxsold team enough from helping me do the contract online to the four members of the catalogue team coming to my home. After looking days before at their video to help me understand the process, I took colored post-its and put them on everything I wanted to be in the auction and what I wanted to keep for my move. As a widow, letting go memories is not easy. When the Maxsold team came, they put my mind at ease that everything would go as plan until the last item was carried away. Maxsold is so easy. I don't have to bring money to claim my stuff because it automatically put on my credit card. I feel that my credit card is safe as I have never had any problems. I have won several auctions and I am extremely happy with all of my items. Maxsold is the way to go if you are downsizing but if you are looking for that unusual item for that person or yourself this is the place to look.

I'm always amused by 1-star reviews, so I always read those first, regardless of the business being appraised. With Maxsold, it is invariably comments about items not reaching some pie-in-the-sky valuation that the seller seems sure they would've received if only they had used some other medium to dispose of their grandmother's belongings. I've never sold anything with Maxsold, but their terms and conditions seem straight-forward. I suppose if you don't read the contract, or have comprehension difficulties, you could become confused.
As a buyer, I enjoy the experience of Maxsold. Being able to browse what is essentially a series of large garage sales from the comfort of my recliner, and not needing to be an early-birder to find items of interest, is very convenient. My biggest problem is controlling the impulse to buy more items than I actually need -- how can I turn down a selection of power tools for only $5?
I just happened to come across the website for MaxSold one day and looked into it just for fun. I have since bid/bought from at least 5 auctions that I can remember and I'm hooked!

This has been the best experience I have had with an auction site. Easy and smooth process. They were very helpful and made the experience so much better.
I've just recently begun to purchase items on MaxSold. So far I really love it. I've purchased items at six auctions and have been very pleased. The staff is very courteous when you come to pick up your items. I think that the items received are described and photographed accurately and there always seems to be something in the lot that you hadn't counted on. Lastly I think that the extended bidding is the best idea in online auctions since online auctions. Ebay should have done this years ago. No more sniping at the last second. The extended auction puts everyone on an equal footing.
This site is very well run from both administrative and technology standpoint. They've clearly spent a lot of time working through how to make the best experience possible. One thing that I really like is that if someone thinks they're going to wait until the last 15 seconds to bid on something, the time is automatically extended to give the other bidders a chance to counter. Sometimes this incites a bit of a bidding war, but that's the idea. I've purchased many things through MaxSold. Some were amazing finds! Others weren't as cool as I thought they were going to be, but I've never felt ripped off and have always found good value in all of my purchases.
The process is 99% of the time smooth. The staff are usually excellent and the deals are even better.
I am always surprised at how organized they are and friendly.

Great sight only thing I would change is saft close it really sucks that 3 minutes are added i know it is good for the sight but I feel like it drives up the price

As long as I'm available for the pickup time frame, I will usually bid on an auction. I've got some really good items so far. I really enjoy maxsold!
