MaxSold was overall a great experience in selling our items, but missed 5 stars because... some of the photos they took were terrible, some items were left off altogether, and MaxSold employees spent $1 to get what they wanted when we could have resold it ourselves.

I have found very good offers on music items, home decorations and other objects, it seems to me that Maxsold has everything at very good prices... hopefully they will launch more offers these holidays
When l pick up my item at the house l walked in the front door a lady met me asked what the # was on the bottom of the page l told her she than call a gentle man over he took me to where the items where they both where very nice to talk to it was wonderful. Everything went smoothly these people are pro's.
I can't say enough about the company itself. I found it to be expertly and efficiently run. (Better to communicate via email than by phone.) Crews sent to my home were friendly knowledgeable and efficient. A first class operation. As a buyer you can't go wrong. In most cases it's like getting the items for free. As a seller, I think the starting bid of a dollar is insulting. There might be a single item worth starting at a dollar, but overall a lot should start at $5.00 and in some cases higher. For someone to walk off with a sofa in very good condition for $3.00 is heartbreaking. The only upside to that is I didn't have to have it hauled away. Therefore my review is 50/50
I like the recycling campaigns they do, since in this way we recover objects that we thought were not useful and to which another person can see great utility

I was pleased every step of the way, made money from the sale and it was easy. The staff are responsive and helpful. They are interested in generating value and they know what will sell and how to market things. They took care of everything beginning to end, and it was exciting to watch the auction unfold day by day. I would have been happy to break even, and was surprised to make a pretty substantial profit. It was well worth the money. Thank you MaxSold team!
We used the services for a Seller Controlled sale and it was an easy process. As compared to garage sales that we have had in the past, we didn't have to barter over price and the marketing methods of MaxSold ensured that our sales was seen by a great deal of interested buyers. The last 1/2 of the auction was very exciting. The pickup process was very effective and all of our customers were pleasant and cognizant of the COVID rules. The service was painless and I will definitely be using MaxSold again.
The software used is counterintuitive and not easy to navigate. Items get dropped, photos disappear and any attempt to correct them is difficult. I also feel that the level of support provided for the 30% charge is inadequate.

I use this company because a friend recommended them I couldn't have been more exact or precise my explanation what was not to be touched or Taken has proceeded to empty my state things kept going missing and then they brought ins for other people who pick through everything and took everything and then did not admit to stealing it when I have to say hey bring my stuff back or compensate for me they had the nerve to say we didn't touch it we didn't take it and I kept on getting the run-around I was told I would get a phone call back and never received any of these people are C's if you use them in a stupid enough to make sure you stay in your house while they go through it and empty it or stuff will go missing

I really like this business. You can really find some wonderful bargains! I see other reviewers complaining about items they've gotten, but that's what sometimes happens when you buy used goods, and it's the risk you take to get something for about 1/10th its usual price. I've had nothing but good experiences with them!
Answer: The site states clearly that you must pick up your article at the specific time and place. If you cannot do that or arrange for someone to do it for you... then don't bid.
