I purchased a refurbished freedom chair, which i was replacing one that i purchased originally for over $1,000 - madison seating's price was about $200 - there was a slight blemish, if you really look for it, but other than that it was a brand new and perfect chair.

The few pieces of it fit together easily. It was just a few minutes from hauling the box up the stairs to my apartment, opening it, assembling the chair and adjusting it to me until I was sitting on it at my desk. I love my chair. It's classy, comfy and cool.

Ordered two Humanscale chairs. They both look brand new, function great. One of the chairs had a part damaged in transit. They immediately FedEx'ed out a replacement part but do to a misunderstanding didn't realize the part they sent was the other half of the broken part. They are sending out a replacement chair to solve the problem. Can't blame them that the carrier beat the chair up in transit.

I placed a order with Madison seating. Joesph was just a doll! He guided me through every little step of getting my order in. It was for only 1 chair but he spent plenty of time helping me out. I was shocked how helpful and knowledgeable he was. I would never go anywhere again for all my seating needs.
The first time they shipped the chair it had a back that was larger than the seat. They would not send a return until after they received the wrong merchandise. They sent the replacement and you still cant get the back to install. You would think they would check merchandise to ensure it works correctly, especially when it was already returned because it did not work!
I purchased a $550 Aeron Chair from Madison seating. This is the third Aeron chair I have purchase in the past 12 months. When I assembled it, the screw that holds the lumbar cable in place snapped off as I was screwing it into the frame. I was installing the screw by hand and the screw was at less than "snug" pressure when it broke. This broken screw negatively affects the functionality of the chair. With the broken screw one cannot adjust the arm rests without removing both the back of the chair and the seat of the chair. Madison seating refused to stand behind this chair. They told me that the only way to get a refund is to return the chair without a broken screw -- but that cannot happen. Madison Seating is an awful company that does not stand behind their products, and they gave me no practical way of exchanging the defective chair.
Very disappointed. Ordered from another country, when the chair came, I find that this is not a new chair leap and refurbished. Painting of the back is made not qualitatively, also cheaper fabric is not pleasant to the touch. At that nowhere on the website do not specify that the chair is not new.
I ordered an office stool from Madison. Unfortunately, the factory shipped an office chair instead of a stool. When I contacted Madison Seating, customer service immediately ordered another stool. I have my office stool, and am enjoying the garden as I do my office work. Thanks for the help, Madison.
Do yourself a favor, Don't use this retailer. We bought a Coaster Roll Top Desk, sold from Madison Seating. They expect you to hold the shipper there until you open the package and inspect all the items. I wish I would have done that. I would have sent it back IMMEDIATELY! There were obvious manufacturer defects, which the retailer, Madison Seating would not acknowledge, nor would the manufacturer. After construction, there were other issues, which I am now stuck with. I would NEVER use this retailer again."

Misleading in Purchasing an Aeron Chair - What does "open box" mean? Used? Floor model? Returned? The shipping label was created, delivery date estimated to be 2 days later, I received it a week later... not sure why they psych you out like that. Chair arrives, no assembly instructions with Posturefit, so YouTube it is that helps. The chair is obviously used as it has marks and dings and smells like the inside of a Fiesta on a used car lot. I'm fearful of keeping this thing as it sounds like if I were to have issues 3 weeks+ down the line this could get pricey and problematic as there's no Herman Miler serial number, just one from Madison Seating. I've owned several Aeron chairs and haven't had issues with them, but depending on what Madison Seating is selling, I am concerned based on these other views...
